Goreclaw and Grasspaw walked in with a sparrow,rabbit,and 2 mice clamped in their jaws,which they dropped on the fresh kill pile.

Fernkit timidly ate a few bites of rabbit and sat down,watching birds fly across the clearing.

Goreclaw walked over to the small kit."What are you doing here little one?"She asked sweetly.

"You can stay here for a while."Goreclaw said with a smile.

"Here,eat something."Goreclaw mewed,pushing a mouse towards the kit with her paw.

"Yes."Goreclaw answered."Since im a clan cat,I eat this stuff all the time."

"It's not so bad is it?"Goreclaw said while eating the sparrow she had caught only minutes ago."So why are you in this part of the woods?"

"How long do you think it will take for Starclan to reveal the cat who caused all my problems?"Goreclaw asked,pawing the ground nervously.

Fernkit caught a leaf in his mouth and dropped it at the other ctas feet.

Goreclaw turned to Silvershadow."I think something may have killed puzzles mother."She muttered under her breath,so the kit did not hear her."We could look around."She replied."If someone will look after Puzzle.

Honeygaze snuggled closer to Fangblaze and layed her head on his shoulder.

"Let's ask her."Goreclaw suggested,padding off towards the medicine den.

Honeygaze was normally a very mild mannered cat.But when she saw Meadowings try to take Fangblaze from her,a burning hatered was released.She yowled and leapt at her opponent,claws unsheathed.
