"It's fine I suppose. It's always cheerful and everyfish is generous. I mean just last moon I had a random femfish offer her young son to me.." Meri rolled her eyes. "She wanted him to become my husband, which would break some of my father's rules."

"Maybe we could trade places... That would be nearly impossible, but it could possibly happen.." Meri suggested.

"Well we would have to take turns. Like I turn into a human and you take me around, and then we both turn into mermaids... or in your case merman. But I could show you the ocean." Meri explained.

The school's Garden Club has had a slow year due to a drought, so many members quit and left only 3 members. The principal threatened to shut it down if they didn't have at least 4 then he would shut it down. After months of no new members the principal was just about to shut down the Garden Club when the president of the Garden Club had a great idea. The people that get in the most trouble in the school would have to join to get time for community service. But as it turns out there is only one girl who gets into the most trouble. From vandalism to getting caught with drugs, she's been on probation for a lot.

IC: "President of the Gardening Club, Marshall Brassington, nice to meet you..." Marshall greeted the thuggish girl to his right, the principal sitting at his desk in front of them. Marshall was kind of hesitant on letting a criminal into his club, but nobody else would join after 17 people quit.

"...Okay... Well I need you to grab me some leavesand that red orange hot stuff you use for warmth and burning things. I'll go get the nudibranch..." Meri said. If they were really going through with this then she would need to do the spell just right.

I'm sensing a Hetalia fan..

Meri shrugged. She dove down into the water and searched closely for a nudibranch. They were really small and brightly colored so they matched the reefs easier.

I've seen a couple episodes.

The biggest party in town has been planned and everyone in school is going. The planner has messaged the best DJ in town and asked her to attend. She says she goes to their school but nobody has ever seen her in the halls. Because she is just a regular student in their eyes. Yes, the best DJ hides who she really is so nobody bothers during school. Only messaging her on her channel.

DJ Kitten is just a nerdy teenage girl. Aurore Jessaline Perrot is her name. Straight A student, rich strict parents, only child, but she has found loop holes in her parents cookie cutter plan. Whenever they drop her off at the library or at a study group's meeting place she'll either sneak out the back or wait inside until it's safe to leave for a big party.

Aurore placed all of her homework into her binder and walked out the door. She had to get home right away to pack up her stuff and get to the party. And since her parents bought her, her own car. She could get away easier. Which surprised everyone when she drove around.

Meri grasped her target and swam back to the surface. She poked her head up before completely surfacing.

Aurore briskly made her way down the stairs and to the parking lot. She pulled her car keys put and unlocked her car, hopping in she placed her books in the passenger seat and buckled up. She turned the car on and pulled out and drove to her house. As she pulled up she saw her parents sitting on the patio, drinking tea. It was rare for them to just relax on days they had to work. She parked and shut off the car. Aurore grabbed her books and got out, walking up to herase parents she noticed they both were smiling.

"Mom? Dad? Why aren't you two at work?" She asked them. Her mother stood up and hugged her tightly.

"Your father and I have been offered a new job, we'll be leaving tonight for New Delhi. This will bring us much more money, but... we'll be gone for quite awhile. We don't know do how long, but it will definetely be for longer than a month.." Her mother explained. Aurore stayed silent, she was secretly cheering in her head. Her father then stood up and walked over.

"We left you some money in the kitchen. You have the study date tonight, so don't forget to go.."

Meri placed the nudibranch on the rocks. "And we need some leaves..." She remembered.

Meri nodded. "You do that."

Meri grabbed some sand from the rocky ground and rubbed it over her arms. It was grainy and felt weird but she noticed that the green of her skin was fading into a tan color.

Meri nodded. "I've only read about this spell. I don't know if it's true.." She said sheeply. The book said it was performed everyday back in the oldern times but was banned her great great grandfather.

"Okay... stay completely silent and meditate.." Meri instructed. She pulled herself up onto the rocks and sat like a human would on a chair.

"Water,earth,fire I beg you to give me my one desire,to walk with elegance and grace a human I must be for my full embrace to be free,respectful and peaceful as being a mermaid may be my downfall,to be nor human nor fish is my one and only wish.So grant to me a human I must be." She spoke softly.
