[align=center]If you travel Northeast of ShadowClan territory for about two days, you will find yourself in a forest n the hills full of heavily mixed evergreen and deciduous trees and thick undergrowth. These forests are home to a group of she-cats. They live and hunt under the stars, which are unhindered by city lights. They know the names of every star and constellation. These are the Huntresses.
Welcome to the Hills of Moonshade.

    Name: Coleus
    Age: 14 or 15
    Gender: female
Appearance: Coleus is a very average-height girl, she could look any guy or girl her age in the eye. She is also extremely lanky and almost unhealthily thin. When she wears even a moderately tight shirt and streaches, every rib is visible, and she has very little muscle. She has some in her shoulders and very upper arms, but not much. However, she eats obsenely large amounts of food - on average, five plates a meal. She always says she just has a hummingbird matabolism. Her face is thin and sculpted, with big, very bright green eyes(though not unnaturablly vibrant). Her blond bangs tend to cover one eye, and she has fairly short brown hair with blond highlights and a few dark, thin streaks. It is just less than shoulder length. She is next to never seen in nice outfits; she only wears Aeropostle during school or special events. She always has her hair in a ponytail, never down, even in the Winter(It's too staticy for her), and only ever wears loose, comfortable t-shirts and jeans, or, in the summer, capris or nice-looking denim shorts. She never wears make-up. However, should there be a dance of some kind, Coleus will wear a nice dress and make herself up, to a nearly unrecognisable state. When she does this, she shows that she is actually very beautiful, but usually her hair is a mess and she doesn't bother.
Personality: Coleus is extremely quiet and doesn't start conversations. She isn't Athletically gifted, but academically, she almost matches a daughter of Athena. She's very skilled with a sword, given it is a light-weight one. Coleus is very kind and stubborn, though, headstrong and won't give up. If she had to, she'd put herself between a monster and her friends and fight there literally until she drops dead. She is very book-oriented - it's surprising and usually means something's wrong if she's seen without one - and will take whatever she's reading everywhere. She's got a very sharp, sarcastic, dry wit, with a rather morbid and unkind sense of humor. After meeting her and getting used to it, one learns what "this is me joking" is, and what "I'm ticked off and verbally ripping your hideous face" is. When she gets angery, Coleus is extremely brutal and her sense of vengeance is.... less than sane. If she is ticked off or hates someone, her version of "I want to punch that one in the face" is something along the lines of "I want to disembowel you and burn your skin with your own stomach acid". And that's mild. Oftentimes, that's what she does with monsters. However, she doesn't often get angery. She would rather work with her garden.

History: Coleus was born to Demeter and, due to troubles on earth, Demeter asked Hades and Persephone to raise her for the begining of her life. This would be where she gained a dry wit and morbid sense of humor as well as a sense of some horrifyingly violent punishment. For her seventh birthday she had her party on Olympus as a parting ceremony - things calmed down enough to let her go to Camp Halfblood. Athena and Demeter crafted her a magic backpack: the outermost front pocket folded out into a large, portable garden, and she could reach into the backpack and pull out a pomagranate - her favorite fruit - anytime. Also, Hephaestuscrafted her a sword that she would carry with her for the rest of her life - a lightweight celestial silver blade infused with ice, the hilt engraved with her name and an amethyst gem. The sword would be called Frostfire.
That was when Coleus went to camp, a shy newbie with no friends. She was quiet, and didn't bother socializing. She focused more on her gardening and swordswork as well as academics. Soon, though, she started hanging out with nymphs and satyrs, and that's about where she'd stay. She knows some of the other demigods, but perfers the woodland creatures.
    Species: demigod
    Mythological God Parent: Demeter
Other: She has no crush, but if you're interested, feel free to pm or something.

A fourteen year old girl sat on a large boulder just at the treeline, her knees propped up in front of her, staring into a book. Her brown hair, highlighted blond, was tied in a short ponytail. Her bright green eyes were lowered into a book. She wore no spactacular makeup, no nice outfit; only a pair of dorm pants and t-shirt in the early spring whether. She occationally glanced up to watch the satyrs and nymphs, but for the most part, paid attention to her plain, one-colored navy book that was marked only by one symbol: Σ. She was skinny to a nearly unhealthy degree, and she had a sheathed sword propped against the rock.

    (Friends aren't limited to demigods.)

I was walking through the woods, my short ponytail whipping in a strong spring breeze. A hellhound bounded next to be, about the size of a mastiff. I scratched him behind the ears as he barked, stopping short and tensing up. I turned, blinking. "Hey, what's up,Thes?" I asked him quietly. He just barked again.

(Coleus, Daughter of Demeter. She is extremely scrawny - nearly too much so - with short brown hair, higlighted blond, green eyes, and only ever wears t-shirts and dormpants. Fourteen. For the first seven years of her life she was raised by Hades because Demeter didn't have time and earth was too dangerous.)
I turn sharply. I could swear that I just heard something.... No, the trees. They felt something. I carefully pulled the Amethyst crystal off my necklace. It grew into a lightweight celestial-silver sword, infused with stygian ice - courtesy of my baby-sitter for my first seven years, Hades. "y' hear something, Thes?" He whined, so I called out, "Anyone there? Show yourself if you'd be so inclined."

"Ah," she shook her head. "It's okay. I'm not the most easily noticed one in the world. Well, more easily noticed than the guy who got run down by a plane." she added, a bit of underworld-esque humor that probably no one at this camp would get. She sat up some and streached, her ribs holding her t-shirt up off her stomach. Ugh. I need some muscle... Otherwise I'll meet the airplane-guy after a bad run-in with a hell-hound.

Upon seeing another kid about as old as me, I relaxed and attached the hilt to my necklace, allowing it to ompact back into amethyst. "Oh," I bowed extravagantly as I tend to. "Sorry about the sword. You never know around here. Who're you?"

I stepped forward to look at the charm. Winged monsters. Magic sword. Nice. I looked at her, and I don't know for sure, but I think my eyes were gleaming. "I think I can. You oughta come with me."

Coleus unsheathed her sword - celestial silver infused with stygian ice - and her green eyes seemed to glow with rage. "Don't you dare let me hear you accuse him of that again." she said coldly. "I know him pretty well. I have a pet hellhound. My humor is underworld humor. That does not make Hades my father. He took care of me for seven years. Who's to say Persephone didn't talk him into taking care of him, too?" she knew it wasn't likely, but Hades was as close to a father as she'd ever had. The idea that he'd break oath didn't appeal to her.
