"Oh my goodness. Do you know her name?" Damen was frustrated.

"Oh, okay." Ray looked surprised when he saw he was being smiled at, but he returned the friendly expression. He wished he could think of a question in this situation to make sure he'd fully understood the whole topic.
-
Guy stood, revealing his face. "You might not want to go out in public," he said, crossing her path.
-
"O.K.," Damen said, relaxing. "One sec." He suddenly stopped and walked into a house nearby, his own. He passed his father and lifted a phonebook, took it back outside, and whipped his cell phone out. "Negi... Negi..." He smirked triumphantly as he found her name and dialed the number, then waited.
-
"Excuse me? You were about to die, girl." Guy looked offended. "You're lucky I was here."
-
"No, he's right here. Where are you?" Damen asked.
-
Guy swept her back by the waist. "No. A group of men attacked you, you were bleeding to death, I changed you, and if you go in public you will appear suspicious and become a threat because of your... ah, makeover."
-
Ray nodded in understanding.
Ooc; just wanted to warn you that I'm turtle posting because I'm on my iPod. XD -
"Yes, he's safe. Uh, I'll answer your questions once I get there." Damen put his phone in his pocket, reminiscing on the time he lost his own mother. "Good thing I was here," he mumbled to himself.
His father stood beside him, confused. "Get where?"
"Er, he was lost."
"...I'll come, too," his father said, suspicious. -
"Man, I thought you had guessed by now." Guy sighed deeply. "You're a vampire."
-
Damen led them back to the park. "Hanako?" he called before seeing the person the boy had described earlier. "Ah. Here he is, Hanako Negi." Damen nodded to the boy.
His father watched suspiciously, in case the mother wasn't who she said she was. -
Guy gazed at her. "You're gonna get hungry soon."
-
Damen nodded, but his father still looked uncertain. "The park is nearly empty," he said. "How did you lose him here?"
-
"Well, here's your first lesson. Never attack humans. Only animals. It's against code to attack humans." Guy eyed her uncertainly. "Understood?"
-
"All right." He knelt down suddenly. "Get on my back." Guy waited patiently, as if this was totally normal.
-
"Hold your breath," he said, shaking his headto clear it before darting with inhuman speed out of the alley. He moved toward a nearby farm and stopped, where animals roamed about. He set her down. "Go on."
-
Ray watched in silence. Well, be peaceful, at least. He nodded to the newcomers.
-
"You don't talk much." He hesitated. "Let's get some things straight. Neither sunlight not garlic bothers you, so don't worry about that."
-
"Good," he retorted, watching as she wandered off. He jogged to a nearby store, stole a water bottle, and sprinted off again before any infected found him.
-
"Well, personally, I make sure the others are following code. Kind of ironic that I just broke it." Guy hesitated. "But, because you don't require sleep, you can go on with your regular duties during night. Unless, of course, you can find some way to disguise your appearance now, then you can go on like a human." Guy gazed off into the distance for a moment, looking upset. "Unfortunately, you can't control yourself around the mortals when you're this new."
