Crashsky entered the nursery. He nodded 'hello' to Spicelight. He laid the fresh-kill, a squirrel, beside his mate's nest. He purred, giving the two kits a lick between the ears.

Larkbright shook her head. "They're fine," she meowed.

"What do you think of the name Firkit?" Larkbright asked her mate, stroking a grey and white she-kit with her tail.

Crashsky nodded. "Love it," he meowed. "And Foxkit for the ginger one?"

Leafpaw lapped water from the food bowl.
Larkbright purred. "Perfect," she meowed, licking the kits.

Leafpaw sat down, wrapping her tail around her paws. She looked around boredly.

Leafpaw swatted at a toy on the ground.

Grayclaw sat outside the warriors den.

Grayclaw licked her cheek, purring.

"Can I go to the forest?" Leafpaw asked, turning her head to Kiara, who nodded.
Grayclaw purred.

Leafpaw stopped and looked over her shoulder. "Wanna come, Smoke?" She asked, amusement glittering in her eyes.

"Why, what happened there?" Leafpaw meowed in interest, padded up to him.

"My father's a Clan cat," Leafpaw meowed. "I don't know where he is now though. Well," she added, "I'll be going." She headed out the door.

Leafpaw jumped up onto the fence and down the other side. She crossed a footpath and stepped onto the large clearing that was close to the forest. The ground was cold; but most of the snow had melted. She could see the white blanket that still covered the forest.

Kiara settled down on her blanket but didn't close her eyes.

Kiara nodded. She got up into a sitting position. "Mind if I tell you something," she purred, getting to her paws.

Kiara leaned over and licked his shoulder. "I really like you," she breathed.

Kiara purred. "Really?" She meowed. She licked his cheek.

Leafpaw ran over to the forest. As she ran, the wind ran through the her fur.

Leafpaw emerged from the cat flap. She bounded up to Kiara and Smoke. "Hi," she meowed.
