Stormkit winced, she hated the sight of any injury, even an old one. She stretched, trying to put the image of Hawkpelt's long scar out of her mind. He had fought an eagle! If only I had the courage to do something like that, she thought sadly.

OOC, Can Tide and Lake become warriors? (Tidestorm and Lakeheart)
IC, Tide stretched. Her fur was ruffled from sleep, and next to her, her brother, Lake, was still deep in his dreams.
-
Stormkit nodded to Hawkpelt, her spirits slightly raised. As she looked at him, she didn't see Blizzardkit coming up behind her so that when Blizzardkit spoke, she nearly jumped out of her skin.

OOC: Featherpaw is a fluffy gray tabby, she's in my siggy.
IC: Featherpaw went to sit between Blackstripe and Iceheart, beckoning Cursedpaw to come and sit next to her. "We need to get Cursedpaw and Blackpaw nests in the apprentice den," she whispered to Iceheart. "Shall I go and find some moss and bracken after the ceremony before the twilight is gone?"

(Pomegranate: No, they were found as loners, then the fought for the clan but they haven't officially been made warriors.)
Tide glanced around camp, looking for something to do.

Willowsong awoke as she heard Dreamflight, calling out. Her tired eyes opened to see the silhouette of a cat leaving the cave. The she-cat's silvery gray fur was ruffled from sleep, but that was hidden by the darkness of the back of the cave. "Wait!" Willowsong called, hoping to stop Dreamflight before she went out into the storm. "Who are you?" Swiftly, and still recovering from sleep, she raced after Dreamsflight. As Willowsong emerged out into the blinding snow, she didn't stop to wonder whether she should help the cat. Kindness came naturally to her, so why should she think of it? There were other things to think of now, such as how to find the cat.
(Please tell me how I did and give me any tips I can use to improve?)

(Sorry I've been inactive, oh and I said Featherpaw instead of Autumnpaw in my last post. Have you decided on Autumnpaw's mentor yet?)
-
Featherpaw smiled. Moonpaw would be a wonderful apprentice for Maisyfur. She shuffled her paws and wondered who the next deputy would be.

As white covered her vision, Willowsong realized there was hardly any point looking. "Help." The words echoed in her mind and gave her new determination as she moved toward the sound, the only thing she had to go by. Her tabby fur was fluffy, and though it was good against the cold, as the snow started to melt against her she began to shiver. I'm crazy, she thought, digging her claws in to avoid being blown away. That cat probably realized the storm was to strong and went back to the cave, and here I am on a wild goose chase. Then she tripped over a bundle of fur, lying motionless on the ground. It took her only a moment to get up, and she was trying to drag the cat by the scruff toward the silhouette of a tree she could just see through the heavy snow.

Rosepaw tossed in her sleep, finally waking up. She opened her eyes to see Goldpaw and Hawkpaw's old nests empty, and for a sleepy moment she wondered where they were, until she remembered that they were Goldfeather and Hawkwing now. She turned over, hoping to get back to sleep. She lay still for a while until she finally gave up and padded out into the moonlight.
-
Autumnpaw padded out of the apprentice den. Her fur was still ruffled from sleep, but as she sat down to groom herself, she noticed a small group of cats gathered in the centre of camp. She did a rough 'n' ready job of grooming and padded quickly towards them.
(Have you decided on Autumnpaw's mentor yet?) -
Featherpaw opened her eyes to see Blackpaw prodding Cursedpaw. She stretched and groomed herself before padding out of the den. What will it be like to have a mentor who's the deputy? She wondered, scanning the camp then padding over to Iceheart.
-
"Morning," Featherpaw mumbled sleepily, rubbing her tired eyes with a gray paw. "What are we doing today?"
-
OOC: *Third time lucky?* Pleash can Tide and Lake become warriors???
Lake padded into camp with a mouse in his jaws when he heard the leader calling the cats together. He glanced around quickly for Tide, then sat down by himself when he couldn't find her.
-
OOC: Recap please?
-
Spicepaw padded into camp from the opposite direction Ice had come from with a mouse in her jaws. She saw Ice limping into camp with a kit she had never seen before and raced over to them with a look of worry on her face. Her own paw was nearly healed, but she still winced a little as she put her weight on it. "What happened?" She looked at Ice, ignoring the kit for fear of scaring it more.
-
Lake sat beside Flamepaw. "Ashblaze!" He called out as the new warrior leaped down. He wondered when, or if, he would be accepted as a warrior, not just a visitor who would not stay long.
