Anthony let out a quiet squeak of terror as he heard a familiar voice behind him. He knew he shouldn't respond to the name she had called him, but if he didn't then she might hurt him worse than usual. He slowly turned, his face paler than usual and fear gleamed in his eyes. His hands were trembling slightly and he seemed to force himself to control his breathing. "O-Oh, h-hi F-Favvie. I-I w-w-was ju-just wa-waiting t-to s-see i-if E-Elizabeth w-was st-still he-here," He said softly. He glanced nervously to the school doors to see if Elizabeth was there but, as expected, she wasn't there. Elizabeth was very good at intimidating people and it wasn't unlikely that she was in detention, as she often rebelled and picked fights with other students.

It's fine :)

"N-No, sh-she's j-just m-my fr-friend," He managed to stutter out, his face a bright red color. His gaze desperately searched for Elizabeth; she would be able to beat them out of the area. Anthony couldn't do anything about the situation; he couldn't beat them up and he certainly couldn't talk his way out of this situation. He considered making a run for it but he knew he wouldn't be able to outrun a group of girls. The only reason most of the guys weren't around was because of football practice and if they found out he had escaped from them one day, they would make sure he had extra pain for the next week.
-
"I-I l-like he-her a-as a-a-a f-friend b-but no-nothing oth-other th-than th-that," He said, shaking his head, his face beginning to turn back to it's usual pale color. He looked towards the football field to see the guys practicing. If he didn't get out in time, they would come and make everything worse than it already was, if that was possible. He knew they would follow Favvie's lead, seeing as they would probably do almost anything she told them to. She basically had an army and wasn't happy because Anthony was different. She probably wasn't too fond of Elizabeth either, but no one dared go against her because she wasn't afraid to hurt people and get them back.
-
"N-Nothing," He answered, his voice shivering as he spoke. "I-I'm j-just go-going to-to w-walk h-home n-now. N-Nice ta-talking to-to y-you," He managed before turning and starting to calmly walk away, trying not to break out in a frantic run. He didn't want her to know how afraid he felt of her, although he was sure that she already knew of his fear. After all, how couldn't she? She wouldn't continue to torment him if she didn't know of his fear towards her and her friends, if she could even call them that.
-
(Sure :))
Anthony walked to school the next day and looked around nervously. Unlike how it usually was, he did not see Favvie leading the group, it was one of the boys. He saw Anthony and grinned approaching him. "Well, Favvie isn't here yet but I'm sure she wouldn't mind if we started the job for today," The boy stated and Anthony instantly attempted to turn and run. He knew he didn't have a chance with the boy's around but he reached out and grabbed his arm, pulling him back roughly. Anthony struggled in his grip but said nothing.

At his father's reply, Josh's face went pale. "I'm not getting a tattoo!" He screamed. "Uncle Liam! Tell dad I can't! I-I... I have a date tonight," He blurted without thinking. "With, um, Darcy!" He added without thinking. "So, I can't go," He stated.
"I can't believe him! I hate your father, you know that? I'm Elizabeth and he was obsessed with me! You better not tell him Sapphire is my daughter or that you even know me. I don't want to see him at all," She said coldly and then looked at Louis and gave a fake smile. "Oh, come here and sit by me, honey bunches of oats," She said with a smile that seemed too sweet for someone like Elizabeth.
"But I want Aaron to sit by me..." She whined and then sent an angry look at Andrew. "Then again, I want his lovely brother on the other side of the world," She hissed. She then reached forward and grabbed several pieces of bacon, two pancakes, and two scoops of scrambled eggs, starting to eat as fast as possible.
Lily looked around the table and saw two spots left. Not thinking much of it, she sat down in one of the two seats. She gave her father a weak smile and started to talk some food to eat.

Josh looked at her with pleading eyes. "Yes, you did. Remember, we said we were going to go see a movie together and have a nice dinner," He said hopefully, glancing nervously at his father. He could not go get a tattoo; he didn't want one.
Lily heard someone say something in her ear and she let out a quiet yelp of terror, standing straight up but when she looked over and saw Sam her face became bright red and she sat down. "That wasn't funny. Also, good morning," She said, making sure to continue to use her good manners as she ate. "I hope you slept well,"
"Fine," Elizabeth hissed at him irritably, standing and following him out the door.
Aaron watched as Elizabeth and Louis left and he quietly slid his plate by Sapphire and sat next to her. He looked over at his brother with a triumphant look and smiled slightly. Sapphire stopped eating for a moment and looked up at him, a light smile on her normally irritated features. Seconds later, however, she continued to eat.
-
"I slept fine..." She said, looking suspicious at his sincerity.
After Elizabeth was done eating, she looked at Aaron and Andrew. "We should go down to the sound booth downstairs and record that CD for the vocal instructor," She said, standing and walking downstairs with Aaron right behind her. She entered the booth, closing the door and putting on headphones as Aaron started the music and she began to sing. Her parents didn't know about her performance yet, which was why she was telling them to was a project. They would be happily surprised the night of the performance. They didn't even know she liked singing that much; they thought she hated it and had been forced to take the vocal class in the first place.
"See dad? I'm going on a date so I can't go with you," He said, looking at Matthew.

I'm interested in being in the staff because I've been looking to build my muse a bit and because I would like to help other people with their writing. How literate are you?:
Advanced/ Beyond (depending on my muse)Other:
Sophie. If you would like a sample of my writing, here's one.Ella was completely into her book. Many people wouldn't find the book she was reading very interesting unless they were aiming for a career with magical creatures. For example, Ella was hoping that someday she would be able to fill the position of the Professor for Care of Magical Creatures at Hogwarts. The thought passed through her mind vaguely as she read over the material, the light smile only twitching up a bit more. She made sure to read the words carefully, in case she would need them again. Unlike some Ravencalws, Ella did not favor reading quickly, she believed it was better to read slower so you could process the information quicker. Despite this, if she ever read a novel, (which was rare, as she didn't care much for fictional stories) she would speed read, as she considered that was reading for enjoyment and she would never really need to know that information later on. No, she only kept the important information; the real information that might save her one day if her and Kyle were attacked again and she was sure that they would be eventually. After all, the Death Eaters weren't known for giving up on someone they had already attempted, and failed, to kill once.
Besides, lately Ella's dreams at night had taken a turn for the worse. A few nights ago, she had even had a dream of him being tortured but it hadn't been the memory that was constantly brought up in her mind. Kyle had been the age he was now, fifteen, and Ella hadn't been able to move. She had tried to scream but couldn't manage to make even the slightest whimper. That was how it always was when she had those dreams and ever since a few months ago, when her dreams had gotten worse, she had thought more seriously about addressing the problem with her family. She wouldn't bring it up to her mom or step-dad. They were both muggles; her step-father didn't even know she was a witch. Ella could only assume that her mother had told him she lived at some kind of boarding school for intelligent children with her brother during the school year. Her mother certainly wouldn't even attempt to bring up magic. After all, her mother seemed to hate Ella and Kyle's abilities. She didn't even allow them to tell her how things were going at Hogwarts or send her an owl. Then again, maybe it was better that way. After all, her step-dad would certainly never learn about her or Kyle's magic and that kept things a little less complicated.
Ella was yanked away from these thoughts as she heard someone speak, supposedly to her. Instantly, her body tensed and she felt fear wash over her, although she managed to stay calm enough. She knew exactly what Kyle would have done in this situation. He would have instantly jumped to his feet, pulled out his wand, and demanded why anyone would ever get the nerve to dare sneak up on him. Instead, Ella decided to analyze what the boy had said and decide what to say before turning. Besides, she could always buy time by putting the bookmark in, closing the book, setting it beside her and turning around to talk. Then again, she could also ignore him. She decided against the second option, as she supposed if it was a friend Kyle had sent to talk to her, he would know if she ignored them and then he'd complain about how she was so rude and didn't understand people, which was probably true but still hurt to hear from Kyle so often. She listened to the boy's words before acting.
Ella carefully went through each action she had planned previously as she thought about his words. Was he simply complimenting her or attempting to flirt with her? Ella had always seen flirting as a rather confusing concept and she knew whatever she said would probably come out more direct than it needed to be and it would probably be obvious she didn't know what his intentions were and she was taking him very seriously, as she took everyone. When she stood, she turned to look at who was speaking and by the way he stood and spoke she assumed he was either a Gryffindor or Slytherin; most likely a Slytherin. A Ravenclaw would probably be reading somewhere, not talking to girls and, normally, Hufflepuff's wouldn't be so curious. If he was a Gryffindor, he might know Kyle and if he knew Kyle, he would recognize Ella because of the fact she was told that Kyle made sure that none of his friends went anywhere remotely near Ella. So, in conclusion to that analysis, he was most likely a Slytherin although Ella decided not to bring it up. If Kyle ever asked her about this meeting, she could say that she didn't know his house and then she wouldn't be able to lie to him about it. It was then that she decided what to say to the boy.
"What else would I be doing, exactly? I have no homework, so there is no need to be in the common room and there are no exams to study for," She said, her face as serious as it always was, although there was a light spark of interest in her eyes. It was like she regarded him as if he was just another one of her books, waiting to be opened and read. She wasn't sure that she liked he was so direct, although he didn't seem to be dishonest, although it was hard to tell those kinds of qualities from one sentence. She then realized that it might be considered rude if she didn't introduce herself. It was then that she also realized that it was the weekend and that the boy was dressed in casual clothing. She then wondered if she had dressed in her robes out of habit. She glanced down a moment, suddenly self-conscious, fearing that she had been dumb enough to mistake the weekend for a school day. Luckily, it appeared that she had thrown on a simple pair of dark jeans and a blue sweatshirt that had some brand-name on it. She had probably gotten it from her mother or Kyle for Christmas or something like that.
"I'm Ella, by the way," She added, extending her hand for a hand-shake

Ella walked into the cafe with her brother right beside her. They had been walking down to the beach when Kyle had started to complain that he was hungry, as he always seemed to be anyway. Ella had told him to bring a snack or something before they left, but he said he wouldn't get hungry. Now they knew who was right and who was almost always right. When she mentioned this, he simply sent her an irritated look. While Ella had thought ahead, and brought a bit of money with her, Kyle had not brought any money with him, as he never seemed to think ahead."Maybe I don't want to get you anything. You should have listened to me; it wasn't logical not to do such a thing," She stated, glancing over at him as she spoke.
"Well I'm sorry, not all of us can see into the future, Ella," He snapped at her irritably. Ella flinched slightly as he mentioned 'seeing into the future'. Lately she had been thinking about those kinds of things; seeing into the future, that is. She wished she could tell him about her dreams but what if she wasn't a Seer? Would he think that she was going insane? Would he think that she wanted to hurt him because she saw him being tortured by a Death Eater in one of her dreams? For once, she was terrified that her brother would turn away from her and leave her. While he could be annoying, he was still her brother and she still cared about him. She still needed him; she would always need him. If she didn't respect him, she probably would have been in a relationship by now. She didn't like to see him angry but she would never show him how much it bothered her when he snapped at her like that. After all, maybe she deserved it, after being so cold towards him all this time. Then again, if she wanted to be the way she promised herself she would be, logical and honest, she couldn't be any other way than that.
"Well, it doesn't matter now. What do you want to eat, Kyle," She asked her brother, gazing up at the menu as she spoke, trying to decide if she would get herself some hot chocolate or tea. Kyle was speaking as she thought and she let go of some of her thoughts, allowing herself to filter in his voice. He wanted a hot ham sandwich and some water. She was thinking about arguing that he could always just have that at home but decided to let it go. He would have to pay her back for it anyway when they got home and by then he'd be hungry again and he'd probably make the same exact thing except with extra cheese or something ridiculous like that. With these thoughts in her mind, she walked forward to the counter and placed her order. Besides Kyle's order, she had gotten herself toast with cheese on it and green tea. Soon enough, she had paid for the food and was carrying it to a table. She was about to seat herself at a table for two when she recognized someone. It was a girl from her house. She had studied with her before, she believed Cassandra was her name.
"Kyle, would you mind if we sit with one of my friends from school?" She asked and her brother simply gave a nod of approval. He probably just wanted to sit down so he could eat his food, which Ella was still carrying for him. Ella wasn't normally a very social person, especially not outside of Hogwarts but they had just come back from their mother's house a few days ago; a house in which neither of them could even mention Hogwarts and she wanted to be able to talk about magic without having to worry much about it. They would only have to be careful due to the fact muggles were around but they would probably dismiss the talking as strange teenager slang or something of that sort. Ella had found if she ever talked to Kyle about magic in her mom's house, that was often what her step-father believed they were saying. She approached the table and gave the girl a light smile, the only kind of smile that Ella ever seemed to give.
"Do you mind if we sit here? I believe we go to school together. We're in the same house; I'm Ella. I think we may have studied together one night," She said with the same smile on her face. Because there was only two chairs at the table, Kyle grabbed a nearby chair that wasn't being used and pulled it up the the table, sitting down moments later. Ella followed his lead and set down her food and then Kyle's. Kyle didn't even seem to know what was going on as he dove into his food. It was like he was practically inhaling it. "Excuse my brother, he has a lack of manners that should have been addressed years ago but my parents and I failed to do so," She said, rolling her eyes at her brother as she took a sip of her tea.

I had a faint plot idea that's set back in medieval times. Here it is, if you're interested:
There has been a war between two kingdoms for ages and no one has given any signs of giving up on it. During the war, your character's parents die, her mother of sickness and her mother during a battle. So, that leaves her to take over the kingdom as ruler. Only months after her rule, my character's kingdom is taken over and he is taken prisoner. The princess (now queen) is expected to punish him constantly for the war that killed her mother. As they spend time together each day, he finds himself falling for her but will she ever accept him for what his family did to her?
