Lucaine nodded but he was still thinking. "Unless they use magic of course. After all everyone can be caged. No matter what." He said, suddenly a lot more quiet and lost in his own memories.

Lucaine snapped out of it before nodding. "Yeah, sounds like a plan. No need to talk about such morbid things. Come on." He said when he could smell what smelled like bread baking. "the town isn't far away."

OC: HAha sorry, I finally finished making my new thread!!!

IC: Lucaine shook his head at the two. "Excited aren't they?" He then sighed. "I really wish there was a way to get around having to stop at a city to be honest." He shook his head before crossing his arms. "Always to many people."

Lucaine looked over at the mystic. "Um crowded, although you can find some neat stuff if you don't mind the waves of people you have to fight to get it." He said shaking his head.

Lucaine nodded his head, smiling slightly at Makata. "Yeah things like that. Some better, some not as good. Depends on where you buy from and how well you know the city. We will need to watch our money close, people love taking you for a ride when money is invovled in places like this." He said seeing the town come into view

Lucaine looked back at Haze. "Have you heard anything I have said?"

Lucaine dropped his head into his palms, quickly muttering some curses in another language. "We need to be careful in this city. People in places like this tend to take advantage of younger buyers, and we need new clothes for all three of us and I need to get more arrows for my bow as well as food, since the mountains will have nothing for hunting really."

Lucaine nodded with a smirk. "Yeah but if you want to freeze go right ahead, I don't really care."

Lucaine nodded as they walked towards the town it was only a bit away now, he could see the tall reaches of a clocktower, the tallest building looming in the distance. "looks like the inns will be near the west side, we should find a far price."

Lucaine nodded and shook his head as they walked into town. There was a lot of people, more then he would have liked, a good deal of them were looking at the small group, after all three kids and two mystics didn't exactly blend. "Mind telling your little dragon to cool down."

Lucaine looked over at her. "Want me to take one of them?" He asked moving closer to her and sending covered glares at the people staring at the group. "I really don't like crowds."

OOC: Sure! That would be really fun, haha.

IC: Lucaine waited for the dragon, he couldn't help but smile just faintly. "Come on now, you look like a child getting scalded. I am not that bad." He said teasingly.

OOC: Alright, let me thank about it.

IC: Lucaine smiled. "Well that is going to attract a little more attention then I would have liked." He said, but not unkindly. He was just tired, that little swim in the lake had taken everything out of him.

Lucaine nodded. "alright, that sounds good." He said, glancing around for a half decent place. After all no good inn would let them in, not looking like they did. Finally he saw a place and smiled. "Let's check there." He said, pointing to a inn a ways off the main road. It was a little run down but looked no worse for wear.

Lucaine moved in, not surprised when all eyes turned on them. He really wished they didn't stand out so much. He was use to being able to sneak in and out of places without being spared a second glance, but the fact that they had mystics with them, as well as the fact that they were nothing more then three kids assured the fact that they were not going to be able to sneak in anywhere. "I'll go get us rooms, how would you rather have it set up? I mean do you want your own room again?" He asked, it felt improper for Makata to have to room with two boys, but he didn't know why. After all when they slept in the woods there was nothing that felt off about it.

Lucaine nodded, as he walked up to the counter, getting some very unflattering looks from the person behind the desk. "What do you want?" The person asked, Lucaine watched him, before he noticed the blade the clerk held. "Rooms for the night, isn't that what people normally want at an inn?" The clerk laughed, a short barking sound. "Sure why not, how many kid." Lucaine held up two fingers. "And preferably together."

The man grumbled something about Lucaine under his breath that Lucaine new wasn't nice or good, but he ignored it. The man threw the keys at Lucaine. "Now get outa my sight before you make my customers uncomfortable." He said before calling Lucaine something under his breath that made Lucaine more then happy to leave. "ALright we have our rooms." He said, no very uncomfortable himself

Lucaine nodded keeping his head down. He didn't want to look at any of them. "I don't want to stay here, but alright." he said moving up to the stairs.

Lucaine opened the door to one of the rooms, he then walked in looking out the window before he sighing. "I use to live here you know. In this town."

Lucaine shook his head. "It isn't that, neither of that really it's more how people. . ." He stopped before sighing. "Well, me and my brother, what we were, people around her didn't really like it. They thought they were better then us, and a lot of those same people are still around." He said before pulling his gaze from the window. "Like that man down there." He said before he tried to smile. "Oh well, we won't be here long right?"
