Bayleaf looked over at him and quickly shoved him into the river with a smirk. Laughing, she watched him fall in.

Bayleaf looked over her shoulder and her ears pricked up. " Uh... Hello? " she called. Her ears flattened and she bounded a few steps towards the sound before stopping. Meanwhile, the sun began to rise.

Bayleaf padded back to the river, still wondering what the strange sound came from.

Bayleaf fell in with a huge splash. " Wait! " she meowed. " I heard something... " her ears pricked up as she crawled onto shore.

" Is anyone there? " she meowed. She dared not get closer, for it could be a far more dangerous creature.

" Don't know... maybe Phantomspirit? " right after Bayleaf said this, she knew it was him. " Phantomspirit? Is that you? Answer me! " she meowed louder.

Bayleaf padded into his line of sight and flattened her ears. " Where have you been? " she meowed, sounding concerned. She tilted her head and asked, " Is something the matter? "

Bayleaf winced and lowered to her belly. She was bewildered by his response and didn't know what to say.

Bayleaf snarled with rage, " Well, fine!!! Be that way! And to think, I was just starting to like you!!! " she turned and darted past Neondark and Phantomspirit, deeper into the woods. She felt a tear slide down her cheek but quickly wiped it away.

" Why can't we just all be friends?! " she screeched.

She kept running, even though she knew they were chasing after her. If there was one thing she hated, it was violence. She found herself teetering on the edge of the waterfall. Luckily, she caught herself and bounced back onto the cliff. She panted.

OOC: ( Who's Shimmer? )

OOC: it's OK! :)

IC: Bayleaf turned to face the two. Her tail lashed back and forth for a moment, and she didn't say a word. She wanted those two to sort this out.

OOC: ( Who's Raven? ) LOL. :)

OOC: It's ok, once again!

IC: Bayleaf watched them, her olive green gaze glancing from Neondark to Phantomspirit. She stayed quiet though. Meanwhile, it began to pour.

Thunder crashed to the ground. Bayleaf sat on her haunches as the rain got her all wet. Her eyes seemed to glow.

Bayleaf looked over her shoulder at Phantomspirit, sympathy in her eyes. She pressed her ears against her head and meowed softly, " Goodbye, I guess... " Before turning toward Neondark.

(Suddenly, A huge lightning bolt struck the land and a forest fire started. It spreaded quickly, getting to the cats in no time. The rain didn't even stop it.)

Bayleaf nodded to him with a faint grin. Suddenly, the smell of smoke wafted into her nose. " Fire... FIRE!! " she yowled. The smoke made her eyes tear up, so she could not see. She was coughing like crazy and fell behind. Neondark kept running, thinking she was right behind him.

Bayleaf wanted to cry out. But the smoke chocked her. A barrier of flaming trees stood between her and him. She passed out.

Flaming trees fell all around Bayleaf, who was knocked unconsious. Their fall sent embers shooting up into the sky.

She lay there, not moving but alive. An ear flicked. She woke up at that moment, swearing she heard a yowl. With all the strength she had left, Bayleaf dove into the flames. Then, she saw Phantomspirit under the log. " Don't worry, I'll get you out of there! " she meowed. She pushed the log hard, and it rolled off of him. Panting and coughing, she grabbed him by the scruff and dragged him to Neondark.
