"I'm so sorry i keep forgetting that not everyone likes the cold as much as i do." She said following him out the door.

Athena looked up when she heard a distant flapping sound and saw a huge beast flying straight toward her.

"Me I'm fine see I'm not cold at all." She smiled waving her limbs. "I'm worried that you might have caught frostbite your the direct opposite of me."

"Ok Ryder calm down think of something positive." She fell backward into a pile of soft fluffy white snow. "Positive positive positive." She repeted to herself. "UGH WHY CAN'T I THINK OF ANYTHING POSITIVE!!!" The blizzard blew stronger and she was covered with a layer of snow.

The large gust of wind blew all Athena's papers around. "No my notes!!" She cried tring to get them all back.

"Ok fine almost opposites." She said to him emphisizing the almost.

Ryder sat up and snow fell off her she looked up at the ceiling. "Come on Khione help me here i need a positive side to all this." She cried to her mom.

"Thanks." Athena said supiciously. "So who are you anyway."

"UGH FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE WOULD YOU ANSWER ME!!!!!!!!" she screemed up at the ceiling as the blizzard raged on either side of her.

"Nice to meet you Polarice I'm Athena." Athena said a little Skeptical.

"Just once." Ryder asked as she began to cry the blizzard stoped and it started snowing softly. "Just once answer me." Ryder whispered as a tear rolled down her cheek followed by another and another untill she was crying to herself.

"Oh no it's nothing personal its just that i was raised that way to be skeptical about everyone." Athena said trying to make it sound better than it was.

Ryder pulled her legs up to her she wrapped her arms around them and began to sob.

Athena suddenly felt guilty about how she felt earlier. "Sorry." She replied opening up her book again to fake study.

Ryder crawled over to her bed and took a picture out from under her pillow it was a photo of her dad her and her younger brother she looked at it and cryed silently to herself she held the photo close to her chest. And cry the pain away alone.

Claire's face grew hot she looked away. "Ya sure I do." She said in a light bouncy to avoid being serious with him.

Athena froze she gradually looked up at Polarice she locked gazes with him for a moment. Then she quickly looked back down at her book. "Thanks." She replied pertending to read.

Claire walked back into her cabin with a hypnotic expression. Then she blinked a few times. "no No NO NO NO. I cannot do this." She said throwing the blanket onto her bed. "No not again I can't go through that again not now not ever." She picked up the picture of her sister and put it back under the mattress. "I'm not gonna go through it twice." She said and walked back outside and headed toward the dining hall.

Athenas looked away her face was redder then a beat.

Claire stopped took a deep breathe then walked inside.
