Willow let out a fierce growl, not answering. After a moment of hesitation she lowered her shoulder fur and blinked, she had almost forgotten what is was like to have someone talk to her without a snarl in it's voice.
"Fine," She replied stiffly, still crouched down.

Sunwhisker looked quizzically at Browntail. "Getting friendly with Riverclan are you?" She teased, flicking him with her tail. "Come on, your slower than a hedgehog in leafbare!" she meowed before sprinting off into the undergrowth.
-
Willow narrowed her eyes, her gaze focused on the strange wolf. She wasn't about to go telling a stranger all of her problems. Instead she said simply, "My size."
-
"Nice catch!" Sunwhisker meowed, enjoying the feel of the sun on her back. She smelled the air and wrinkled her nose as the tang of Riverclan wafted from the border. "We're getting close."
-
We can just RP here, it's fine by me.
-
Sunwhisker blinked in gratitued and tucked into the blackbird. She looked up, " do you want to share?" She asked, pushing the bird towards him with a white dappled paw.
-
Willow pricked her ears and lifted her head off the ground.
"You're a runt?" Now that she looked closely, he did seem slightly smaller than her mother. Though much bigger than Willow herself. "What happened?" -
Dewfrost blinked open his eyes as bright sunlight shone into the warriors den, dappled and warm on his calico fur. He yawned and stood, arching his back in a luxurious stretch. Walking out into the bright clearing, Dewfrost suppressed a purr of amusement as he saw his apprentice tripping across the clearing. He flicked his ears in excitement, feeling almost like a kit again, his first apprentice! He couldn't wait to show her around the forest, helping her distinguish scents and sounds.
With one last, quick stretch, Dewfrost padded cross the clearing and flicked Firepaw across the shoulder with his tail.
"How about I show you around the border today?" He asked, a gleam of excitement in his eyes.
((Is this in the old forest of the new forest?))

Willow wondered why she hadn't been chased out yet. Maybe this wolf had a point, and she should simply leave instead of putting up with her mothers cruelty.
"So you're a loner? No pack?" She asked, life as a lone wolf was hard, no pack to help you hunt big prey, no territory, always wandering. She wasn't sure she would ever want a life like that, at least in her pack she knew she would at least have something to eat, no matter how small at times. -
"Of course there's some mouse-brain." She purred, pushing the blackbird farther towards him. "Take some, it's fine."
-
"Is it not?" Willow asked confused. She hadn't notice until now that she had risen to her full height, no longer scared or crouching. she swished her tail across the leaves and warily sat down, looked cautiously around. She couldn't imagine what her mother would do if she found her talking to a strange wolf.
-
"I was about to ask you the same." Sunwhisker purred. "Why aren't you out with your mentor training?" She licked a white paw and drew it over her ear, her calico fur glowing in the leaffall sun.
-
"And you know how to live independently..." Willow said, almost to herself. She shook her head, scolding herself for even thinking such a thought, but she knew what she wanted now.
"Can I come with you?" She asked, her eyes at hesitant and ears back as she waited for this strange wolf to lash out at her for suggesting such a thing. -
Sunwhisker watched, blinking in the sunshine and stretching, full and content. "Ready?" she asked, getting to her paws.
-
Willow shook herself in embarrassment, but her heart felt as light as a leaf as she wagged her tail. "You mean it?" She asked.
-
"Good," Sunwhisker whipped around and raced towards the Riverclan border. "Race you there!!" she yowled behind her.
-
Suddenly Sunwhisker stopped, scenting the Riverclan markers drifting on the breeze over the river. "Doesn't look as if the mangpelts have crossed after all." She shrugged. "Oh well, maybe we'll have better luck on Windclan."

((I would like at least a paragraph per post, with proper grammar and no text talk. I'm kind of picky ;).
Koda paced around his small yard, enclosed on both sides by a tall, wooden fence. The sun was setting a golden pink in the sky, and Koda's paws itched to be free, running where ever he felt instead of being locked up all day and night. He growled in frustration, staring at the bare yard he had been stuck in ever since puppyhood.
The Blue Merle Australian Shepherd stretched his paws, enjoying the feel of the soft dirt around his toes. If he could dig under the fence, maybe, just maybe, he would be able to escape and finally be free.

Willow whipped her head around and snarled in fear. She sniffed the air and her stomach fell with shock. Slinking as far back into the bushes as possible, Willow crouched down, hoping on hope that her mother wouldn't see her.
Star lifted her head high, her eyes sparked with anger as she scented an intruding wolf on her pack's territory. Her fur ruffled by the wind, she pushed her way out of the bushes and stalked up to the wolf, her fur fluffed and her tail raised, she growled menacingly and stood posed to charge when she smelled a fear scent, coming from behind.
"Willow!!" She growled, scraping her paw into the earth with the anticipation of sinking her teeth into her excuse of a daughter's throat. -
Shadepaw pushed on his back paws and dragged the kit back onto the safety of solid ground.
He turned towards Lanijay and dipped his head respectfully. "I was hunting when this kits," he flicked his tail towards Coffeekit, "yowls could be heard from here to camp." Shadepaw paused, glancing at the kit. "i don't know what she's doing this far from camp though."
