Featherkit pondered for a moment, scanning each piece of prey on the pile. "I don't really mind," he decided after a short while. He was absolutely terrible at making decisions, and hated being put on the spot, even if it was for something as minor as choosing what to eat. "I could honestly eat anything."

Stonepaw stared with wide eyes at Icestar, before turning to his new mentor Leafstorm. He padded up to the warrior slowly and stretched up his head to touch his nose to hers.
The orange tortoiseshell she-cat bounced on the spot, shifting her weight from one forepaw to the other, her amber eyes locked on Icestar as she waited for her mentor to be announced.
Birchkit tottered forward on unsteady legs. He could hardly believe it; he was going to be made an apprentice! It was a moon late, but that was to be expected of course, as he'd been very sick recently and had been unable to leave the medicine den, so his ceremony was delayed.
OOC: Stonepaw is already 10 moons, and Robinpaw is 9 moons old, so they probably would've been made apprentices before this point. Is this just naming mentors?
-
Stonepaw was lost in his daze for a moment, before he vigorously shook his head to clear his mind. "Err..." It felt strange to be making requests of his leader, "Can we go over some of the basic moves first?" He asked tentatively.
-
OOC: Yeah, it's been rather empty for a while. The Christmas event is going on at the moment, though, so everybody is over there.
-
OOC: Thank you! <3 c: And yeah, I suppose we do. I'm going to see if I can get a banner made.
-
Robinpaw padded up to Nightwhisper, raising her head to touch noses, her amber eyes wide with excitement.
Birchpaw gave a gleeful bounce and trotted towards Cloversong with his head held high and his eyes shining. He was an apprentice at last!

MOUNTAINCLAN
Heatherstar couldn't help but let out a purr. "Once upon a time, all MountainClan cats were this big," she giggled, "a shame; I think our enemies would take us much more seriously if that was still the case."Mountainstar dipped his head to Tornstar. "Most of us," he added onto what Heatherstar had said. "Unfortunately, poor Morningstar wasn't quite so fortunate as to have been blessed with the gift of size. Although size isn't necessarily what makes a great warrior." He twitched his whiskers in amusement, his amber gaze drifting once again to the tortoiseshell tom. The large grey cat released a rumbling purr. "But that is correct, my dear. You are Eclipsestar's daughter, no doubt?" He inquired, a smile playing on his maw, "You look very much like your mother."

Shrewpaw shook her head with a sigh as she watched Driftpaw and Fritillarypaw so obviously dancing around one another. She was torn between distaste and the pang of jealousy that grasped at her chest; she wanted somebody to look at her like that, the way Driftpaw looked at Fritillarypaw. But of course, the voice at the back of her head chided tauntingly, Fritillarypaw is prettier than you, she's smarter than you, she's better than you. The small grey apprentice hunched her shoulders and stared at the ground by her forepaws. Who'd ever look at you like that?
-
Stonepaw's ears burned. He had always felt uncomfortable asking things of others, especially things he should be able to do perfectly well without reassurance. The grey apprentice shifted his weight slightly and lashed out with a powerful forepaw, angling it so that its impact would jar the head of his imaginary opponent downward.
Rivermist nodded in approval as Briarpaw executed his move. "Well done!" She praised enthusiastically, her thick grey tail whisking the smooth floor of the cave. "Would you like to try something new?" She asked. She'd been practically dying to teach Briarpaw this particular move for a while; it was one of her personal favourites.

OOC: Recap? I've been away for a few days and I'm not sure how much I've missed. x_x
-
Mossfoot's nose twitched and her ears flattened. She drew herself up, halting where she stood and casting a wary glance into the underbrush. "Do you smell that?" She queried, keeping her voice low. The smell of unfamiliar cats lingered on the breeze. NightClan often had trouble with lost kittypets and the occasional rogue or loner wandering around the territory, but never this close to the camp. She knew that although this was a hunting patrol, not a border patrol, they should investigate.
-
OOC: Holy ****, can somebody give me a recap? o_o

OOC: Thank you! <3
Shrewpaw tentatively poked her head through the elders' den entrance, squinting slightly in the soft gloom. "Hello?" She tried, wincing at how high-pitched her voice sounded.
-
Shrewpaw started in surprise; she hadn't expected any of the elders to actually be inside the den. "O-Oh, hi Leftscar," she stammered, blinking rapidly at the older she-cat, "sorry if I woke you."
-
"O-Okay, Fleckstar." Stonepaw took a few small paces back, tensed his muscles slightly and sprang forward, aiming downwards at the legs of an imaginary cat with his muzzle outstretched. He opened his jaws and locked them as though around a chunk of flesh, allowing himself to be carried by his movement, wrenching the invisible foe aside with a sharp jerk of his head as he rolled.
