Ilia tightened her fist and glanced at the dummy she'd punched, many feet away.

"No, I don't mind," Ilia said. "But if I die, don't blame it on me." She smiled grimly.
-
"Stop arguing and do something!" Conner said.
Ilia glared at him and then turned to Alice. Her glare disappeared and she ran over. "A-alice?"
-
"Thanks. But it's mostly 'gifts'," Ilia told her quietly. She looked up for the first time. A scythe charm glinted on a bracelet.
-
Lei sighed and stood up.
Taea tilted her head, interested but still wanting, despite everything, to stand up for Zana.
-
"The Underworld, I think...if I'm wrong, though, I'll feel so stupid.."
-
"Alice!" Ilia growled, taking hold of her shoulders. Conner moved forward. Ilia moved aside as Conner instead took Alice's shoulders gently. "Alice, listen to me. Don't listen to whatever voice is talking inside your head. You're my Alice. Mine. Any nobody messed with my Alice."
-
Ilia grinned and charged the second drakon, the one she'd never had the chance to kill. She went to climb that one, as well.
-
Ilia stabbed the drachnae, which hissed and spat at her. Ilia set it on fire and ran around, yelling "Tag, your freaking it- I mean, dead!" she laughed. The monsters pulled away, most turning to dust. Ilia turned to turn a chimera to dust when she felt a bite on her shoulder. Hellhound, for sure. She knew that hellhound blood and venom could knock a person out. Vision turning hazy, she turned and killed both monsters.
-
"Love, love...I'm sure you didn't, little Alice, but what did you do?" Conner hugged her back tightly. Ilia crouched back down next to Sara and gasped at her eyes.
-
Taea gasped, then let the air out quietly. Finally, she spoke. "A good reason. We should go after her."
"If you don't kill me, I'd help," Lei added quietly.
-
Taea flinched but didn't answer his question. "Who are you?" she called back warily, pausing in her jumping.
-
Ilia groaned and almost fell to her knees. She let out a loose fire ring around her, but it was darker than before - weaker. I can't keep this up or I'll faint! she yelled in her head.
-
"I don't care if you killed anyone," Conner whispered to her. "Act as if everyday is a new life. What happened to you, anyways, Alice? Where's the girl I love?"
-
Both Lei and Taea jumped.
"There's a hole in the ceiling?!" Lei yelped.
The room rattled as Taea accidentally rammed into it. She blushed and stared at Wiatr.
-
"Then he probably wasn't the best of fathers," Conner reassured her.
-
Ilia felt two dooms coming closer; her own as the monsters crowded around her, and a familiar presence - Silver.
She knew what she had to do. The monsters turned sky to darkness.
She opened her eyes to the underworld and immediately saw Silver. "No!" she yelped, running over as quickly as her legs could take her. -
"There's a...what the...what just happened?!" Lei growled, getting back to her 'normal'' self.
"Um..Hi," Taea said.
-
Taea sighed and jumped down the 30 feet it was from the ground. The air seemed to soften her fall, or perhaps it was just how she landed. "I'm Taea," she introduced. Ember poked out his red furry head. She smiled. "And this is Ember. Whatcha doing way out here?"
-
"No," Conner sighed. "Because you're still my Alice."
"Sara?" Ilia whined.
