Death narrowed her eyes, trying to figure out a piece of this strange puzzle.
OOC: does the fox want pups do she takes the kits? -
"They're such cute things, those kits," commented Moonlight to Hollyleaf. "You must be proud of them."

IC: Death stopped for a second, jaws open, in seeing a fox that took a kit, yet not even harming a hair on its tiny pelt. She tasted a stale fox pup scent.
She questioned the kit, just to be sure. "Are you ok?" -
Swiftpaw climbed through the entrance of the dome, joining other cats in escape from the harsh leaf-bare.

Swiftpaw found a bush and hid under it.

Swiftpaw sat down with her clanmates, swallowing the lump of grief that stuck in her throat.
"Is this the end of good ol' Cougarstrar?" the apprentice thought miserably. -
Swiftpaw wondered if she should join the expedition.

Moonlight limped by them. "I hate to interrupt, but I got a thorn in my pad," she said, holding a forepaw to the medicine cat.

"Thanks! My paw kinda stings from the herb juice, but its feeling better," Moonlight meowed to Ashears.

Death sheathed her claws and relaxed her shoulders.
"Since you're not hurting the kit," she meowed to the fox, though she didn't understand her, "I'll ask the kit's mother about her kit and see what happens..." she trailed off.
OOC: does the kit's mother not care about her kit? by teh way it'll be easier for the kit to be given up that way. -
Swiftpaw praised Eternalrapture and Pandabear on their promotion. She wondered about the missing kit...

OOC: im gettin kinda confused but i kinda get this part... never mind... by the way idk anything about the 'paws icing Moonlight. :P
IC: Moonlight fought off a dog, hissing triumphantly as it fled, whimpering. -
OOC: okay but does the queen adopting the kit not have any feeling for him? like i said before, it'll be easier for the fox to keep the kit... : P

IC: Swiftpaw shook herself, all feelings of fear and sadness vanishing, and padded up to her mentor.
"Can we do some battle training?" she asked, tail waving excitedly. -
OOC: srry, busy... Moonlight giggled at the 'paws remarks... just saying since i wasnt here : P
IC: Moonlight cheered the new warrior names. She purred in amusement as she thought of five or six littermates trying to keep their silent warrior vigil. -
OOC: ill take that as a the queen doesnt give 2 shakes of a tail :P oh and after IC, Death goes to camp to tell the queen... im 2 lazy 2 put that
IC: "Wait till I tell the queen back at camp..." Death muttered to herself. "It'll be the best thing she's ever heard." -

Swiftpaw fled for the apprentices' den in camp to get out of the hail and freezing rain.

Swiftpaw veered for the nursery when she saw Dewdrop under the branch.
"Don't worry, I'll try to get you out from this branch," she mewed and tried using her teeth to pull the branch from Dewdrop. -

3Swiftpaw quickly brought the queen to the nursery to prevent them both from getting hit or frozen.
"I guess I'll have to stay here," she grumbled. "It's too cold to go back out there!" And with that, she settled down at the den entrance to keep a lookout for anymore cats in need.
