'It's a long story, I was in the pound..." he started to say.

~Flashback~

Romeo sat in his little cage, hoping that someday a nice person would adopt him. His cell like house was dark gray with fading paint, old kibble, and dirty water that the insects drank more out of. Romeo looked at his 'house' when suddenly a tall, dark brown man with light stubble on his face, looked at Romeo, who back then was "Spike" and said, "I want you." as he crouched down to get a better look at Romeo. One of the workers said, "OK, nice choice." and rolled their eyes, since they are paid to say that. The guy then opened the cage and led Spike out. Spike's/Romeo's new owner got him, paid for him and brought him to his condo.

After a couple of weeks, the owner found a great girlfriend that Spike also liked, but the owner was bad at purposing. When they went on a date, they went to the dog park with Spike, and Spike (before they left) had got the ring and it's box, and he hid it in his owner's pockets. When they were there, They let Romeo walk around. After a couple of hours, Romeo came back and laid down to hear when would be a great time to show the ring (AKA purpose for his dumb owner). "Well, I do live on a ranch that has tons of animals, and my favorite is my kitty, Sissie. What do you live in?" said the girl. The owner said he lived in a two-story condo with Spike and that he loved ranches, but he could never afford one. The guy then said, "Well, Jennie, um... I've been wanting to do this but uh, I uh, never got the..." and before he finished, Spike held out the ring to the girl and the man answered, "Jennie, will you marry me?" and she of course answered yes, and the man renamed Spike to Romeo, and they sold the condo and moved to the ranch which had more room for Romeo.

~back to present~

"And that's how I ended up on a farm. By the way, we're close to the secret spot." said Romeo, and sure enough, there was a small shack behind the house which had no apparent opening, but when they got close, you could see a small opening from the front.

OOC: Whenever I do, "Flashback" i'm playing the flashback as if it's happening right now, but it's not. I just rp the flashback.

OOC: he's making a flat roof.

Graypaw nodded and made another ten sticks, and put them next to the other ten and tied them together. He kept repeating until he had the witth of the wall, the he climbed up the wall and put them down as that side of the roof. He started the frontside.

Romeo looked at her and said, "I was named Romeo because of how I got my owner and his girlfriend together forever." and he thyen crawled through the hole and inside was tons of fresh, mouth-watering kibble, clean, purified water bowls (with water), tons of the latest toys for dogs, and lots of clean sleeping bags for dogs also. It was pretty much paradise for dogs! "I know a thing or two about begging, and cleaning, so make yorself at home!" said Romeo as he belly flopped on a bed and chewed on some delicous kibble.

Graypaw looked at the leaves she got and said, "OK, put those leaves next to the wall and if you want to, make these stick bundles and tie them together so we can lay them for the roof. And not in bundles, but in flat bundles." as he continued making more flat bundles.

Snow looked to see Mosstail going out of the camp so she walked over to Mosstail and said, "Where are you going? Are you hunting? Please don't leave us!" squeaked Snow's tiny, kit voice. Goldenpaw and Doveheart were waiting for the big news.

"OK! I knew you would never leave us!" squeaked Snow as she then went back to Doveheart and Goldenpaw for the news they STILL waited for.

Doveheart looked at Hawktalon and said, "Great..." as she looked at Snow who looked sad at the fact of other unknown warriors coming with them. Goldenpaw's expression said, " We only wanted us to go, and you" but they didn't say anything. "Well, I guess we better start preparing. I'll practice my skills with Goldenpaw and Snow, stay near Hawktalon OK?" said Doveheart as she signaled Goldenpaw to go with her. Snow looked sad that unknown cats were going to help find her parents, or a relative, so she started scraping the ground weakly.

Romeo nodded as he then finished his kibble, then he looked into an almost destroyed fridge that had tons of that dog food that wasn't in a kibble form and he thought out loud, "I probably should have told Izzy about this." as he got out a couple of containers and ate the meaty goodness.

After about an hour, the roof was finished and sturdy so Graypaw grabbed a leaf and said, "Now what you do is lay it down then bend the stem upward careful not to bend it off, then when the roof has leaves all over it, tie the stems together!" as he continued dragging leaves onto the roof. "But be careful, the roof can only hold one cat at a time." he said as he came down and handed her a leaf. "You try."

Romeo finished a container and offered some to Izzy, and the smell of it was as good as squirrels.

"It's perfect." he said as he grabbed a leaf and waited for Moonpaw to get off. He then did some more leaves and asked Moonpaw if she would like to do the last couple of leaves, and that he'll tie them together.

OOC: I know a perfect warrior name for Moonpaw, Moonbeam. But that's just me. :P

Snow looked at Hawktalon and said, "You see, me and my foster parents only want themselves and maybe you too help me find my parents because we don't like strangers helping us when it's more of a family thing. Plus, it's a day or two journey so that'd be a lot of cats to feed, instead of three or if you want to come, four. Please understand us, we're not trying to be mean or anything, but it's sorta like a fate quest." she continued to scrape around the dirt.

Doveheart and Goldenpaw both heard Mosstail struggling with something so they found her and saw the hawk she was dragging and Goldenpaw came up and said, "Need help with that, hawk?" as he was ready to lend a paw.

"OK then, but can we help you with something like getting your other prey?" said Goldenpaw who really wanted to become Goldenwhisker again.

OOC: Can someone PM Gravelstar and ask him if Goldenpaw can go back to Goldenwhisker?

Doveheart and Goldenwhisker nodded and went to go get them and bring them back.

Snow smiled and said, "In that case, I'm pretty sure my foster parent's would love for you to come, but just to make sure I'll ask them." and she then waited for her parent's and Mosstail to come.

OOC: Sorry I haven't replied in awhile, I was very sick and we had no internet for the couple of days.

He nodded in agreement when he saw Rose poke her head in the shack. "Welcome to Casa del Dog Paradise! That's Spanish for The best dog hangout ever!" he joked. "Make yourself at home. There is plenty of everything." Romeo said as he reached for a deluxe chew toy.

OOC: You see, I think the last part of the name should like be for their personality, and the first in apperance. So to me Graycloud seems a bit deppressing, Grayheart sounds good, and Grayfur is a bit common, that's why I picked Graybadger. Also I like all your choices for your character, but my fave is Moonbeam, it says to me that you can brighten anyone's mood, and that you are a very good traveler. Also I've been sick for a while so that's why I haven't replied in awhile. Also now the den looks like a tropical hut. (the one our characters built)

Graypaw jumped up the roof and tied them together so they were nice and sturdy, with a strong vine. He then jumped off and wen inside and said, "This is perfect!" as he started to drag the nests in there.

"Like I said before, there is plenty for everyone. Also if you want some of that fancy dog food that Izzy is eating over there, that beat-up fridge has a whole bunch of it." said Romeo as he chewed vigorously on the toy.

Graypaw dragged in the last one, (three at the total) and he saw Robinpaw talking with Moonpaw. "Oh hi there!" Graypaw said to him as he started to bring in a small box with no lid in. The box had some fresh-kill in it and it was in the corner of the big den.

OOC: The den is small on the outside but big on the inside, so it has plenty of room to walk around in.

Goldenpaw and Doveheart followed and put the fresh-kill in too. Snow then came up and asked Doveheart and Goldenpaw, "Can Hawktalon and Mosstail come with us to the loner lands? We don't need to bring a lot of warriors, so me and you two and Mosstail and Hawktalon should be plenty!" and Snow seemed to be very happy about it. Goldenpaw and Doveheart looked at her and said, "Sure, but tell them that they have to be ready by tomorrow because that is when we're departing." and Snow went off to tell Mosstail and Hawktalon that they can come, but they have to be ready by tomorrow.

Romeo got up and stretched a bit, then drank some of the refreshing water.

Sissie, her tail now fully healed, smelled about three dogs in the back of the house, so she went outside, and followed the scent to the shack. She then looked in, and saw Rose, Romeo, and Izzy having pretty much a party in there. Sissie smirked as she went to go to the owners to bring them here.
