Character Name: Thunder that Rages at Night

Appearance: Thunder is a tiger-striped cat. He is very large and muscular. While his build is intimidating, he is a gentle giant. He is very intelligent and follows commands well. He is a natural warrior and his musculature makes his ideal for protecting his clanmates.

Personality: Thunder is gruff with cats that are new. They fear him and he knows it is because they don't understand him. He is a lover of the beauty of the forest and believes in preserving it to keep the cats lives in unity with the forests.

History: Thunder that Rages at Night joined Tribe of Endless Journeys after leaving a rogue clan. He was known in this clan as Thunderstrike, but gave up his name and his past willingly. He did not care for the anger and violence in this rogue clan and joined ToEJ to start anew.

And here is the tom I created! If you approve, I will play both under subaccounts so they are easy to tell the difference between :) I'm a subaccount junkie.

Thunder that Rages at Night joined Shadow and Raven in the clearing near their dens. "Good dawn to you both." He swished his tail in a greeting. The snow was cold on his pads but he found the sensation pleasing.

Thunder glared around the clan. He wasn't thrilled with this idea, but he would do whatever his leader thought was best. "So. It is decided then?"

Ooc: so do you want me to go to the rebellion and sign up and play with mt cats there now?

Ok! Not a prob. I am happy to play both places! Raven will be good with the change and Thunder might get upset but its in his personality :)

Thunder that Rages at Night padded into sight. "Hello." He said gruffly. "I am here from Tribe of Endless Journeys. My name us Thunder that Rages at Night." He waited for a response of approval from the cars around him.

Thunder walked toward where the Fighter's and Hunter's dens were. What did he consider himself? A battle cat or a hunting cat? Wasn't he excellent at both? He didn't know how to choose, so he sat, staring into the forest. The right choice would come to him. The forest always tells me... he thought. He wrapped his tail around his feet and waited.

OOC: Sure!! Thunder is a pretty distant cat, but a mate might do him some good :)

Thunder observed the she-cat before him. He nodded a greeting. He was frustrated. He couldn't feel what the forest desired for him in this... this place. He felt pathetic.

"Where does a cat rest in this place when he doesn't know where he belongs?" He muttered.

Thunder that Rages at Night nodded curtly at her. "That would help calm my nerves, I think. I appreciate your kindness." He looked over her blue pelt and a tingle went through his fur. She was a beautiful cat. He hadn't noticed before when he was in his daze.

Thunder stood to follow her. "Were you born to this clan?" He asked.

Thunder knew starvation well. His former rogue clan had spent many moons on a bare freshkill pile. He had seen cats dying around him and watched others put them out of their misery. He shuttered, once again thankful for finding Shadow and the Tribe of Endless Journeys. It had saved him from himself and the path he saw ahead of him.

"I am sorry to hear that," he meowed. "This is a rather... bizarre nest. Did Twolegs live here?" The feeling of the carpet on his paws was startling, but warm. Thunder had been so used to the pine needles and dirt on the forest floor.

"Interesting." He replied. He was struck by all of the area around him. He imagined practicing climbing along the bookshelves practicing attack landings. How useful would that be in battle? It could help with tree attacks... Cats rarely looked to the sky for anything but StarClan.

He was modest in his next question. "Your clan... do you follow StarClan?"

Thunder that Rages at Night regretted asking. His question had obviously drawn out a passion in this she-cat. He wasn't certain how he felt about her view of StarClan, so he kept his thoughts to himself for the time. Each cat had a right to follow who they chose, he had no right to tell her any differently. Perhaps there was some sound reasoning in her beliefs. The clans did seem to revere but ignore StarClan at the same time. It was a paradox that confused him greatly.

"I am glad they are with us, here," he resolved.

He thought about this. It did make sense. What was the trouble in bothering their great past leaders if they didn't really need them?

He didn't want to bristle the she-cat. "I come from a rogue clan before I joined Shadow in the Tribe of Endless Journey. I think I have seen every cats views on StarClan," he paused, thoughtfully. "I enjoy how you view them. I enjoy this space. Your leader seems strong and it was kind of him to welcome us."

Thunder looked at the cat quizzically. "Yes?" He lead.

Thunder flicked his tail in amusement. "You certainly seemed to have something to say." He padded in a circle around her. "I am hungry. What is your clan's policy on feeding oneself? Do you hunt for the clan first?"

"Would you care to join me, then," Thunder began, "in a quick meal? It was a long journey here, and I wouldn't mind the company." He licked his striped fur and awaited her response.

Thunder that Rages at Night heard... was it barking? Impossible! Dogs hadn't been in the forest for many seasons... and wolves sounded much different.

Thunder's ears flattened. It was a dog! The sound was awful... loud yipping and howling... The only thing worse was the yowl of a twoleg kit. "Sweet StarClan!" he yelled as a dog came racing up to him.
