4 slowly crept out behind 7 wearily. reassured by 9's smile, he stepped closer to the human. then he looked up towards the humans face, and filmed it. remembering every single detail. when he was done he blinked to 3. i think its okay. the human shows no harm. 3 looked at 9.

3 crept up behind 4. are you sure? 3 flashed at 4. you believe me? 4 shined back. 4's gaze fell onto the strange book on the human's lap.

ic heart thorn was exhausted as she stumbled through the swamp alongside white wing. they've been travelling for hours and haven't seen a single cat but each other. "You okay?" white wing asked at a deep voice. he rarely spoke. "yes im fine thanks." she mewed back.

White wing's ears pricked up. his eyes narrowed as heart thorn followed his gaze. Suddenly an orange blur came crashing into the clearing and dissapeared intot he bushes. another cat followed after that. a look of hope lightend up heart's eyes as the two cats looked at each other. weak, hungry, and exhausted, they curiously followed the cats.

Whitewing slowly padded out of the bushes coming into view, with heat thorn following close behind. Heart thorn jumped at the sound of the she-cats sharp voice. She instinctively hid behind whitewing.

White wing mewed quietly. "we mean you no harm. We are both loners."

There was a flicker of weariness in White wings eyes but he stayed calm and unmoving and answered bluntly. "we were looking for food and searching for a clan that would take us in." heart thorn shivered as everyones eyes bored into them.

"what's going to happen?" heart thorn mewed to White wing quietly. "wish I knew thorn." White muttered as they approached the clearing.

White wing glanced at the she cat in heat with a piercing look. Heart thorn looked at her friend bewilderly. White wing didn't meet her eyes.

Heart thorn wimpered. White wing stayed silent but gave her a reassuring nudge. He gave her a look that said I'm sorry after this season is over I won't let any harm come to you. Then he silently padded to the dirt den. He approached the black she cat and muttered hastily under his breath. "ready?"

3 and 4 looked at the waterfall in amazement. 4 immediately shone his flashing eyes over the whole page; recording it and stashing it into his memory. then he nimbly turned the page, and saw a beautiful green meadow with a blue sky. He filmed it as well. then he flipped throughout the whole book; filming each and every picture.

wow. was what the twins could blink. 3 looked up pitifully at the human. why is the human the only one left? he flashed at 9.

3 looked at the human with interest. it was the first he saw other than the scientist. he looked at the picture of the beautifully drawn meadow. then back at the girl. he had an idea. he trotted over to 4 and nudged him.

Remember that CD we found at the workshop? Film it to her.

4's eyes lit up with excitement. he flipped through his mind and found the memory of the CD. Suddenly his eyes shone a flickering image in the air of the recording of the video they the twins had silently watched.
A man's voice started narrarating about the wonders of the earth. it showed pictures of fields, and mountains, and valleys and waterfalls. Historical places came into view. the great Anchor Watt, the narrator explained, zoomed in. then the Great Wall of China. Suddenly it came to a huge scene of a vast waterfall, stretching all the way until the eye could not see. 3 gestured to the waterfall image to the girl.

3 was amazed himself by the video even though he had already watched it. It's lush green meadows, deep blue ocean, and of course; all the living animals that had once roamed the earth. 3's favorite was the seal, while 4 had interest in the humming bird.

Heart thorn padded miserably to the dirt den, and sat along with the other dirts. what kind of clan did this? she thought. if only white wing were here. surely he wouldnt.... she left the thought hanging. Heart thorn didnt want to think about it. White was like a bigger brother to her. she plopped herself down and allowed herself to daydream.

White Wing padded over to echo and saw the other tom. He gave him a half threatening, half questioning look.

He looked at Echo unsurely at first. Then he waited for her to crouch again, taking in her heat scent.

3 waited for the girl's reaction. 4 continued filming in the air.

4 shut it off. He bowed playfully to the girl. 3 nudged him, with laughter in his eyes. 4 nudged him back. 3 nudged him harder. 4 gave him a shove and bolted off. 3 shined angrily. then laughing, chased 4 around

White wing silently got off. He shot echo a sympathetic look, before padding away to Heart Thorn.

4 was just about to tag back 3 when the girl said something. 3 immdiately stopped running, causing 4 to slam into him and they both went tumbling around in the dirt. They stood up awkwardly and blinked.

Heart Thorn's head perked up when White wing came padding over. "you came! are you okay?"
He only answered her with a silent nod. He licked her forehead affectionately. "Are you ok?" He asked looking around wearily. "Yes, im fine." she mewed back. "Ill check on you again."
he padded out of the dirt den.

The twins froze. Why? they flashed questionally.
