Ebonyfang glanced at the now retreating rogues then nodded. "That sounds nice," he purred then he added, "May Featherkit join us? I'm sure she's hungry."

Featherkit looked at Leopardstar, hoping she would say yes.

Featherkit beamed, all her previous fears disappeared as she bouded over to the fresh-kill pile. She frowned, though, as she noticed the pitiful pieces of prey left. "Awwww. Those stupid rogues must've taken the good prey!" she whined.

Ebonyfang caught up with the kit, and sighed as he noticed the very low pile. "It seems we'll have to hunt," he muttered as he turned to face his mate.

Featherkit huffed and sat down, pouting. Now she had to wait for them to get back, and by then they might forget they were going to let her choose what to eat!

Ebonyfang followed Leopardstar, walking beside her as they went.

Featherkit become happy once more. "I want a plump, juicy mouse!" she called the leaving cats.

Ebonyfang rolled his eyes. "Always asking for more than she'll eat," he mumbled under his breath.

Ebonyfang's pelt burned with embarrassment. "I was not!" he argued before joining her on the rock. He looked between the trunks of the trees, watching for any slight movement on the forest floor.

Rustcloud sat beside the fighters den, watching the clan go about their business, but then his sister walked by. He narrowed his eyes and glared at her. Why couldn't she that this is what he wanted? What a mouse-brain. He thought before finding something else to look at.

Luckflower lashed her tail when she noticed her brother's glare. Huffing in irritation, she padded out of the camp. Hunting should allow me to blow off some steam. She thought as she began to move quickly through the territory. She didn't even realize how far she went before she noticed the scent markers. "Oh," she muttered before walking along the border.

Inkpaw looked around for his mentor, wondering what he might learn today. "Hopefully battle moves," he thought aloud as he searched for his mentor.

Storm watched in alarm as her alpha clung onto the deer. She quickened her pace ad was just about to get a hold the deer when she made a mistake that only a pup could make. She was right behind the deer, and it kicked out one of its back legs and hit her in the jaw. She feel, dazed. Stupid, stupid stupid! She thought over and over again. "Spirit's gonna be mad..." she whispered as she got to her paws, her jaw sore from the kick.

Wind walked to the camp entrance, checking the breeze for any unfamiliar scents, but everything was okay. "What a boring day," the silver wolf muttered as he sat down by the camp entrance.

After recovering from her injury, Storm noticed a shape laying motionless on the ground. Her hackles raised as she realized it was a wolf, but not just any wolf. It was Spirit. She quickly ran to his side, but she feared the worst.
