Quebec was in the old list. ^^

Quebec and Bliss just had their litter but Yew and Flick are both not responding to the kitting thread. >.< I'll have to go PM them.

Shante is in that litter, I don't know if Flick has decided on the name yet... I'll PM them and update you as soon as possible. Sorry! >< Not very organized here!

Hawk: I liked your old one better! XD

Ace: :o Your kitty is PRETTY.

Blubolt: *Squee* HOUSE! xD I used to love watching House! Ehhhh I love that one. xD

Chris: Oooh, Impossible Creatures. :D :D That's a fanart? It's bliddy awesome!! :o How was it drawn?

Riversoul: I used to play Sims 3 too XD But then it was sooooo laggy on my Mac, and it took up so much time (not to mention the fact that it lagged so much that the minutes couldn't go any faster than about one minute sims-time per one second real-time, so when they slept... I played piano) that I stopped it. xD It was fun though!

Quebec, in his concentration, didn't notice Silverwolf hiding from them. Her scent was similar to theirs, being from the cattery too, so he didn't notice that there were three cat-scents around. Especially since there were so many new sights and sounds to take in apart from smells.

He felt a rush of exhilaration as Scamp joined the hunt. The marbled silver tom didn't know anything about the wild warrior clans, but any warrior would have looked on in horror at their hunting skills. They were, by now, making a racket. Well, the mouse knows we're here anyway, Quebec reasoned, but what he didn't realize was that they were also chasing away any second chances at a live breakfast.

He clawed randomly at the ground as the mouse avoided Scamp's sweeping paws, coming right back toward him. Quick, fast scr.apes on the ground, hoping that he'd get lucky and swipe the mouse. He was. His paw hit something soft and the bedraggled mouse was kicked about two rabbit-leaps away, dazed. "Get it!" he yowled, as though the winded mouse could still run away. He struggled to get his feet back under control.

Briarfrost was clinging on, watching wide-eyed as Tidalpaw got Frostkit out of her crack in the rock. "Hide h– yyyarrrrrrll!!" His call was lost in a panicked cry as the fox suddenly started lunging about. Its reeking teeth missed him by clawlengths once, but the second time he wasn't so lucky. Its teeth brushed his pelt, skimming over the surface and giving his flank a good graze. Hissing, he lost his grip and dropped to the floor.

The fox threw itself violently onto its side, apparently trying to get rid of Harley. Briarfrost only just managed to roll away in time. He glanced wildly around for Tidalpaw, slowly getting his bearings back, and then he positioned himself in front of Tidalpaw and slashed at the fox's nose, attempting to drive it away. His heart pounded with fear, and he prayed the fox wouldn't snap and get his forepaw. He desperately aimed at its eyes. If he could blind it...

Gasping for breath and not daring to take his eyes off the fox's teeth, he called, "Tidalpaw? Mercury? Are you three alright?"

((OOC – Hey, actually, this is totally convenient for the Mansion cats... they could just say, oh, we helped to drive off the fox and save your kit, you have to help us now, you owe us. xD Dang for SnowClan!))

Heck, I don't even know if this post will even get posted. =.=

My dad and my brother are downloading massive files right now, but the thing is they always do and it's never affected the internet like this, but today and yesterday it took like 10 minutes to load one page (on this board – on simpler pages it took about 5) and it's impossible to actually upload any text, because the browser just goes oh, error connecting. Then when you hit refresh and select resend, the whole PM or post or whatever it is just gets lost. o_O

Is it only me that's facing this problem? Or has the WCARPG server suddenly got really bogged down or something? Are you guys able to post? Well obviously you are but are you able to post at normal speed without hitting refresh seven thousand times? o_O

I hope it's not just me because short of hacking into my dad's computer and deleting all the downloads, I have no idea how to fix the problem. D:

Please tell me you're experiencing the same thing!?

Airsperanto perked up her ears with interest as Misha answered the question, momentarily pushing the strange newcomer out of her mind. She was still quite aware of Nadia watching them, and one ear was carefully angled backward to listen to her movements, but she paid more attention to Misha. Interesting... so they're having kit trouble.

For a fleeting moment, Airsperanto thought about helping. She was a she-cat, after all, and she hadn't any kits. She didn't really do anything all day. Why not help? But then she beat this ridiculous notion back with disgust. She couldn't believe she'd actually thought of such a thing. Her? Help? No way. Not for the best food in the cattery. Scowling, she tried to forget about the whole thing.

She smirked again as Misha jumped and glanced her way. The new cat seemed just about to run in the other direction, but then she came back. Airsperanto arched her neck, staring upwards at the cat. Nadia. New cat from down the road... hmph. Probably some riff-raff stray. She snorted pointedly, being as disdainful as possible.

Kneading her useless, clipped claws into the ground, she wondered what Lizzi and Misha could possibly be waiting for. Go on, just flay her! she urged, trying to communicate the message with her gaze – usually a completely ineffective way of 'talking'. I'd help, she added, her whiskers twitching.

OOC – River – you're doing a great job. xD Nadia does resemble Christopher.

Willowdust trotted along, being careful to keep a moderate and steady pace while she was trekking along the territory. She felt very happy, because her wounds from the Snowclan-Blackhearts battle had finally healed, and though she still had to be careful not to rip her skin open again, she didn't have to take quite so much care of herself any more. This enabled her to hold better training sessions with her apprentice, Stormpaw.

She followed the border carefully, not wanting to go over it by accident. Quite often she glanced over to check that Stormpaw was keeping up well, though her ears were constantly angled back to listen to his pawsteps. She lowered her nose to the ground to check their scent-marks, then she turned. "So how does it feel like, patrolling the territory?" she asked with a purr.

See, I'm not the only one still checking here. xD

I've PMed Flick and Yew. ^.^

Flick's situation is sort of weird... if you go to her profile, you'll see that she has logged in very recently (today) but she hasn't posted since early September. o_O So that's kind of strange. Last time I checked it was a similar situation, and she hadn't replied my PM from then either...

Quebec purred extremely loudly as Scamp managed to pin the mouse down under her paw. The prospect of eating was very welcoming, even though it was a mouse that was probably very mangled by now. His eyes did not miss the flash of the old, cheerful Scamp in hers, and a rush of happiness flooded him. Maybe it was true. Maybe they would be fine after all.

He took the mouse after Scamp had eaten a bite, and he too looked a little skeptically at it. But he was hungry, so he took a bite, too, and the mouse seemed as delicious as anything. "Hey, it's nice!" he told Scamp with his mouth full. "Bit hairy, though," he added. He pushed the mouse back over to Scamp, still chewing.

He wondered what they would do today. The daunting feeling came back to him, the sense that he had no idea where to go; but with prey in front of them both and the sun making everything look brighter, he felt for the first time a proper glimmer of positive energy.

Briarfrost slumped down onto the ground, relieved, as the fox ran away. Thank StarClan. SnowClan would have to follow its scent trail later, of course, to make sure it hadn't come back; but at least, for now, they were being left alone. He glanced gratefully at Tidalpaw. "I'm alright," he told his apprentice. "You did good, Tidalpaw. I'm proud of you."

He looked up at the tree where Tidalpaw had set Frostkit down. "I'll go get her," he told Mercury, wearily dragging himself back up to his feet. He jumped up the tree with only half his usual ease, and came slowly and carefully back down with Frostkit in his teeth. He set her down, and then remembered the other kit. He groaned quietly.

"I'm not hurt that bad," he answered Soulsilver. Then he dipped his head to Softfeather and all the other foreign cats. "Thank you for your help," he said sincerely. He turned to Harley. "You especially. You've probably saved Frostkit's life."

He then asked, "How about the other kit? We should take Frostkit home first, because she'll be exhausted. But we've got to hurry..."

Briarfrost heard what Tidalpaw said to Frostkit and snorted. Whiskers twitching, he murmured, "Yeah, Frostkit, you should take Tidalpaw here as an example. He never wandered around out of camp!" It was strange that he could find humor even in this sort of situation, but he did. He was surprised by his own dry comment – normally he would've kept it to himself. He supposed, when you fought a fox together, you built a rather good sense of comradeship. He was about to say this out loud when Frostkit started speaking.

"What?! One of the pups chased Daisykit off?!" he almost screeched. Great StarClan! Pups! That is just wonderful! With a groan, he said, "Somebody will need to take Frostkit back and report this to Puddlestar." He looked round at everyone's wounds. "We need reinforcements, that's for sure, but we can't delay much longer... a kit is somewhere out there unprotected." What should he do?

Shante wriggled around, having had her fill of milk for the time being. She breathed deeply – or as deeply as a kit could breathe – memorizing the already familiar scent of her mother and her two siblings. Her tiny paws kneaded her mother's belly. She was warm and comfortable... soon she drifted off into a light sleep.

((OOC – *Checks message archive* The last time Flick PMed me, which was the 21st of September, she was going to name her kit either Zero or Nadir. She hadn't decided. No PMs since then.))

It's the same situation with Flick. She hasn't responded to my PMs. She's logged in recently but she hasn't posted since the 7th of September; her last PM to me was on the 21st of September, and she was wondering whether to name her kit Zero or Nadir. No news since then.

So Yew and I think we should give the kit to someone else. Chris? :)

    AIRSPERANTO

((OOC – Rajun – ‘Tis fine by me. The more the merrier. xD Chris, Rachel?))

Just as I predicted, Airsperanto thought, with a resigned sigh. She didn’t know any of the Bengals very well, and she completely misinterpreted Misha’s actions. He’s too scared to defend the cattery! Narrowing her eyes in what she hoped was a lofty manner, she pointedly turned to look at Nadia only, though her ears were still twitching in every possible direction.

She didn’t notice Ryn lurking around in the shadows. She should have. After all, she smelled very much different from the cats here. However, Nadia already smelled different. And with all her attention trained on these new cats, she didn’t have much of her senses left to devote to other things. It hadn’t crossed her mind that two foreign cats would appear today.

She padded closer to Misha and Lizzi, in order to hear better, but she didn’t take her eyes off Nadia. I wonder what will happen now... I certainly hope they’re not dumb enough to give away important information in front of this stranger, she thought. Then again, I want to hear it, too.

((OOC – Nope, I can if I want to, apparently :D Seeing as the purpose of bios is to check the reality level of the cats that are being made.))

Shante squealed indignantly as she felt a paw – not a very gentle paw, either, considering her newborn fragility – prod her in her tiny side. For a newborn kit, she could squeal extremely loudly. Her paws, barely half the size of her mother's, flailed in the air as she tried to escape the attention. She wriggled even closer to her mother's belly than she already was, which was quite a feat, and then started mewling.

Briarfrost nodded. He himself hadn't been able to smell the fox mother's milk-scent, which must have been there, and quite strongly, too. The disadvantages of having smelly kittypets around, he thought to himself. Then – No. Can't call them smelly kittypets any more, Briarfrost. You owe them. Big time. Just use... pungent-smelling exotics.

Had the situation been any less serious, he'd have fallen over laughing at his own silliness.

"Yeah, the best behaved," Briarfrost chuckled conspiratorially to Tidalpaw. Then, in reply to the apprentice's earlier words – "Foxes with pups get really aggressive. I don't get why this one didn't run off, though, since she wasn't exactly protecting her own pups." Horror crossed his face. "Or was she?" He scrambled around trying to find signs of baby fox-life in the undergrowth, but found none. "Well, that's strange." He shrugged it off. He might be a good fighter, but the extremely intricate workings of a fox's mind were quite beyond him.

The russet warrior grew thoughtful for a moment as he wondered whether or not he could trust Mercury with Frostkit. But it wasn't much of a dilemma. She'd fought the fox for the kit. Bringing her back to camp would be no problem. He only hoped SnowClan wouldn't slay her when she arrived alone with one of their kits.

"I don't mind," he told her. He glanced over at Softfeather. "You?"
