    Human~

    Name- Avery Lynn
    Gender- Girl
    age- 14
    gf/bf- None
    Crush-None
History- She lives in a crickety, old (though cozy) house with both of her parents. Her mother grows organic crops and her father works as a horse-trainer for a different barn nearby. She lived a happy, peaceful life as a single-child and then came to Willow Pines Stables to further work on her equestrian skills.
    Horse- Knight
Looks- Elbow Length (if arms are straight down) darkish red hair, olive green eyes, 5' 7" tall, freckles all over her cheeks and nose

Avery walked into the barn, in her usual cheery mood. She had made a quick stop at her favorite tack shop on the way to the stables, getting a new leadline, hatler, grooming kit, and the storeowner gave her a bag of freshly made horse treats for Knight. The red haired hirl smiled at the thought of her horse. He was everything to her, and they were incredibly close. Her boots made soft thuds on the barn isle floor as she made her way to the large box stall. She eyed the gold plate on the stall door, engraved with her horse's name. She always loved to admire its sheen.

Bringing her dark blue halter and matching leadline with her, she slid open the stall door to see the Gypsy Vanner dozing on his feet in the back corner. "Kni-ight, wake up buddy." She cooed, giggling at the gelding's sleepy face as he turned it toward her. "We're working on jumping today boy. You gotta get yourself up and awake." Avery took the halter and slipped it over his massive head, clipping the lead line to it. Then she brought him out and clipped him up to the crossties.

Avery took out her grooming box and took out a curry comb, brushing Knight's coat briskly with tight circles. After she used the dandy brush to whisk all the dirt away and the final soft brush made his coat glow under the stable lights. She picked out his hooves and then tacked him up. Strapping on her helmet, she began to elad the draft horse away, when she saw another girl, leading an anxious horse by the look of it. Turning Knight around, being the 'Gentle Giant' as he is always called, she called though not too loudly, to the girl. "Excuse me? May I be of any assistance?" She asked politely, brushing a strand of red hair behind her ear.

IC: Pebblesong's head snapped up at the sudden comotion out in the main clearing. She padded over and peeked through the entrance, and her eyes widened with shock. Wolves prowled through the clearing, leaping at every cat in sight. With no hesitation, the medicine cat bounded into the fray. Immediatly she spotted Splashlily. "Splashlily what-" Pebbleosng stopped herself. She needed help, now. "Where are you hurt?" She meowed, rushing over to sniff her fur for any sign of blood.

Pebblesong leaned down and gently pushed away the matted, bloody fur to see that sure enough, a long wound that was cut at a slight diagonal trailed across the deputy's belly. The lilac marbled tabby raced back to her den, grabbing a pawful of cobwebs and marigold. Bounding back, she pried the individual cobwebs away from eachother and delicatly placed them in an even coat on the wound.

Nimbus lifted her head. What was that smell? She took in a deep breath, then ended up in a snorting fit. No....no, no not again! Nimbus let out a shrill whinny, noticing the sky was now not a pale blue, but was steadily turning a deep red. Not far from the wandering group, she spotted flickers of orange that grew closer and closer, engulfing the dry, sunbathed grass. This was no sunset. It was Nimbus's worse nightmare. "Wildfire!" The mustang neighed, screaming as loud as she could so the others were sure to here them.

Aspenpaw gazed evenly at the two sisters, lifting her head high. "One would think that if I were sane I would agree. But, I can't go against my clan like that." She meowed, then she spoke quickly before any arguement could erupt. "I know, I know. It doesn't seem it could harm the clan, but the fights will just keep going." Aspenpaw sighed. "I've learned to forget. Not my parents, but the emotions." Silkflower nodded slowly to herself, proud that the shy apprentice she knew was standing up for her point. But then, she realized, so were these two sisters.

Nimbus nudged Bess urgently to the river next to them. "Get in the river and do not come out! The fire won't hurt you there." She whinnied, pushing her towards the shore. And the mustang was right, the river was just shallow enough that you would be swept away in the gentle current, but wide enough that the fire would not harm them. "Stay, I need to get the others. I won't go far." She neighed, galloping up the hill in an instant.

Nimbus skidded to a halt, her hooves slipping on the slick grass. She let out a raspy cough before nodding and racing back to Bess. The smoke was getting thicker with the nearing fire, that did not seem to lose speed. She vaguely made out the river through the haze and neighed frantically. "Bess? Bess where are you?" She looked wildy along the river, not aware of the foal's location.

Aspenpaw gaped at Dreamsong, anger filling up her eyes. "You don't understand what I'm telling you at all!" She spat. "What I meant is that I have learned to push away a couple little emotions called Revenge and Hatred. I still love them. I still grieve for them, and you have no right to say I can't feel anything toward my friends and family!" Aspenpaw breathed heavily from her ranting, her eyes wide and hurt. While she didn't have any blood-relatives alive, she had made some friends close enough to be her family, like Silkflower and Fawnkit.
