Heatheart watched the kits fighting. She did eenie minee moe out loud to show the kits she was being fair. She didn't count Creamkit though because she said she didn't want to. In the end she landed on Bristlekit. "Are you ready?" she asked.

Coalpaw had overheard when he was coming back into camp with herbs, feverfew, and mallow in his mouth. Quickly he padded into the medicine cats den to put them up then ran to Deepriver, "What do we need to use? I got some feverfew to help with the pain or bleeding if there is any after Fallengazes birth." He looked back and forth from the nursery to his mentor.

Fadedpaw stretched then padded away from camp, luckily no-one noticed her because they were too involved in everyone else, or so she thought. I just need some air, and besides I can protect myself anyway.

Coalpaw padded into the apprentices den his nerves shaking a little thank starclan I didn't have to do the kitting, I wouldn't know where to start. He padded into the medicine cat den to pick up the feverfew. He did so and brought it to fallengaze, after he laid it in front of her he mewed, "Here chew on this and drink it's juices it might have an awful taste to it but it gets rid of the pain." He dipped his head in respect to the queen before padding back outside.
