Raven purred and leant back as well. He twinned his tail with hers.

Raven purred as he spotted Fogpaw, he grinned and nuzzled Dawnpaw gently on her shoulder.

Raven blinkled kindly down at her, a sort of knowing look in his soft amber eyes. ' I know,' he purred. ' But I'll wait for you forever. ' He said seriously, his tail wounding with hers.

Raven smiled.

Sleetpaw returned the grin warmly. He had noticed her! Her grey tabby pelt shone quite brightly as she stepped into the early morning sunlight.

Raven bristled as his father attacked Sunpaw forcefully.

Raven awoke to screams. He hissed and woke Dawnpaw up. ' Come on! ' he said stiffly, the Twolegs were now knocking down trees and craching rocks down.

Raven nodded and ran into the forest. He saw Messyfur and Sunpaw and sighed in relief. ' Can you stay here? ' He asked Dawnpaw, his eyes dark pools of concern and love for her.

Raven smiled and gave one last loving lick to this beautiful she-cat before he ran back quickly to the battle. His claws connected with a Twolegs flesh and he spat, the Twoleg yowled and yanked him upwards. Raven hissed and clawed at its nose, the Twoleg flung him backwards against a tree where he lay stunned for a few minutes.

Raven sprang up and ran towards the nearest Twoleg with Ringclaw behind him.

Raven yowled as the Twoleg swung something smelling strongly of smoke and fire. He winced as the twoleg pressed it hard against Ravens pelt.

Raven fought bitterly, he swung his claws out and scared the stupid Twoleg things.

Raven ran into the clearing and looked desperately for Dawnpaw - did the Twolegs get her?

Raven looked around for Dawnpaw. He couldn't see her. His amber eyes clouded in confusion and he started to circle the forest looking for his love.

Raven was still searching for Dawnpaw when the sun slowly appeared into the sky. He let out a low sort of moan and carried on his search. He was no way near the best tracker in the clan, but he needed to find her.

Raven went out of the barn as soon as he knew that Ringclaw would live. He walked silently through the forest and found Dawnpaw near a cliff. He didn't run forwards. Instead he walked calmly to her side and sat down by her. They looked over the horizon.

' Whats wrong? ' Raven asked in a slightly concerned voice. He gently pressed his pelt next to hers. ' You can tell me Dawnpaw. ' He whispered.

Raven sighed an licked her ear gently. ' She'll be fine, ' he soothed calmingly. ' She's recovering now. '

Raven sat by Dawnpaw. He gave her an affectionate nudge. He looked into the sun and smiled.
