*FLAILS ON THE GROUND SCREAMING LIKE AN IDIOT*
CANNOT DEAL WITH THIS
CANNOT
DEAL
SO PERF
THANK YOU AGAIN -
She seems to perk up at that, and sits up straight, jerking her head in the direction Honeyside would be outside of the inn, a smirk crawling onto her tired face. She chuckles, low and deep.
"You mean Honeyside? I hole up in there sometimes when the Jarl gets it in her head that she can uproot me and my guild, and then fails. I'll have my boys throw some chests in there for ya, and some of our rarer goods, if you cooperate with our guild, which I have a nagging suspicion you will. Welcome to Riften, home of thieves and beggers."
-
-
Jerking up and around, concern suddenly marring her beautiful features, Issah moved to the Argonian woman, placing her hands on her shoulders. She had initially butted heads with the innkeeper, but after helping her pay off a debt. She tilted her head in a worried manner.
"Keerava? What? Why are you crying? What's happened? Why are you crying?" Gently she wiped her tears, but fear suddenly slunk it's way into the wolf's heart.
-
Well then.
-
Dat wall of text tho
Dang.
....OH GOD.
NO TITANS. NO. -
Issah eyes snapped open, and before she could think, she was moving, her feet flying as she tore away, out the door and through the city, roughly shoving Mjoll out of the way as she went, getting a dark look from the battle-sister.
As soon as she was through the gates, and out in the forest, her armor being flung haphazardly behind her, Issah shifted forms, knowing full well the strain and damage it would do to her body, picked up on the scent of blood and fire and magic and flew. Protecting her friends is what a werewolf did. And her friends were like family.
Wild with fear for them, she bore down on their location, before skidding into their view, huffing frantically for air as she towered over Kat and the limp elf.
"What happened?"
-
Alice just chuckles playfully at the Drell, shaking her head at the awkward movements of her scaled friend. She understood though. Not everyone was as outgoing and energetic as herself, bouncing from place to place, always thinking, always going, always doing something. Her very existence was an energetic, fiery whirlwind.
"It's a pleasure to meet ya. Any friend of Reid's is a friend of mine."
-
Alice's cold eyes brightened in her trademark mischievous manner, noting both his use of biotics and the theft. She paid it no mind, since she herself did illegal things every day as she darted about the Citadels airducts. A like mind, and that was a comfort. She fell in step with the two men, like she had known them for years.
"Biotics huh? That's pretty awesome. I could design some pretty killer armor that could even boost the effects of your biotics, if I really tried hard enough. Reid and I are in the same branch. What about you? Going to the seminary, obviously, but what for?" There was no prying tone Alice's voice, just plain old curiosity.
-
Issah, huffing low over him, muttered in her gruff wolf's tone, as she surveyed the damaged that was quickly receding on his body,
"Beast senses tell me he'll live. Now get him on my back so we can get him home. There is much to be done, and having Zatros half dead is not something we can afford night now."
-
It wasn't Eric who called out to Jake, but Evie. In fact, she tore herself away from her brother and tore after Jake. The moment she saw him walk out that door, fear lanced up her spine, made her heart race and wrench. She didn't want to lose him. Already he was a part of her, her life, her very being. Being without him ever again was not something she could handle.
And sad as it was to say, she didn't know Eric. She didn't feel the same fear of losing family that he did. She didn't feel those bonds. But Jake...Jake was more important to her. Than herself. Than anyone. Than anything. Evie could honestly say he was the love of her life.
Bearing down and grabbing his arm, she huffs out,
"Please don't leave my sight. I know that's stupid but...I'm scared. For you."
-
Evie didn't flinch at the harshness in his tone, she simply shook her head furiously at his question about spending time with her brother, who now watched with a semi-worried and curious expression from the blinds of the window, his hazel eyes flicking about as if he were watching for someone to sneak up and ruin their moment.
"I don't know him, Jake. For all I know, this could all be a huge lie, and he could be some guy just SAYING he's my brother. Acting like it. I don't trust him, not like I trust you." There was no lie in her eyes and no guilt in her words. She meant what she was saying, wholeheartedly. A world without Jake was not something she could live with.
"And to be honest, I rather die knowing we had a little time to know each other, to be together, or to even get dragged back to a world hidden in my memories, then watch you walk away."
-
Issah growled, wrapping one arm around Zatros to make sure he wouldn't fall as she lumbered away, snarling and growling at anything that dare cross her path. She heaved her way along, grumbling about how obnoxious it was to carry such a weight, before depositing him at Riften's gates.
"I will be outside for a bit. Make sure he's safe."
-
There werewolf merely grunts in reply, and lumbers off, waiting to revert to her human form. Even so, she was highly uncomfortable, in fact, she was really worried about the elf. But she couldn't just waltz straight into Riften as a werewolf. She debated asking them to wait for her to change back, but those were seconds of Zatros's life that could not afford to be wasted.
So she watched them go, uneasy and confused. She hadn't heard a word of what had happened to get him so weak.
-
anything is fine with, especially since I ended up kinda taking over the first half of the story line with Issah--
-
Sorry for the spotty replies lately, I've had fluctuating muse, and lots of crap going on, so it's been difficult to write up replies I'm happy with. So sorry!
Evie, despite the consistent tension of recent events, laughs, that beautiful bell-like sound that echoes as she shakes her head, before grinning at him and teetering on her tiptoes to ruffle his hair, giggling away. He was upset over that? It only went to show to her that he really cared. If he was jealous, that meant he wanted her to be his and only his, family in his way or not.
"You dork! It's okay. I could tell. I don't...I don't know if this is all sincere on his part. I don't know if we can fully trust him yet, but he seems like he really is trying to help us. So...let's hear him out, okay? If he really is my brother, then there's a lot I can learn from him."

AWWWWWWWWWW YISS

OOC: BWAAAAAAAAH I'M SO SORRY
I've just had really low muse as of late thanks to being busy
andtheleagueoflegendstournamentgoingonwithmeandmyfriendsIssah, after what felt like forever of pacing around outside the walls of Riften and hunting down her scattered armor, finally returned inside the city and made her way to the Bee and Barb, oblivious to the blood running from her nose and the corner of her mouth, thanks to transforming perhaps one too many times. She walked as though she were drunk, weaving as she went, one foot slowly placed in front of the other, her vision blurred.
"Well, this can't be good."
