"They' re coming." She whispered.

Kodi stops, as pain shoots through his head. He suddenly collapsed as Skye caught him just before he hit the ground. She faced them and snarled, "What the h*ll do you guys want?!"

Skye ignored the boyfriend/girlfriend thing, baring her teeth at them her wings rose. "Why can't you humans understand that we're not doing any harm!" She growled. She walked in front of Kodi. "I'll fight all three of you!"

"I don't care!" She growled, Kodi twitched and slowly woke up. Kodi toke the syringe and broke it. Looking down at her (she's in her shifter form), Kodi shifted. His red eyes stared at Ryan. "You've grown since day." He said.

Kodi's wings spread showing his blood red feathers, as his eyes changed to that color. Skye looked at them, and suddenly felt mesmerized by them. Kodi looked at her and said "I guess you've never seen a demon shifter." She shook her head.
"I guess you did realize you can change into demon form." he frowned, but then looked back at Ryan snarling "This is how I killed your parents!" (If thats ok with you)

Kodi smirked, as his fangs were shown. Skye (Still mesmerized) lunged forward at Ryan. "Change Skye!" he howled. She suddenly changed color, as her wings went from light brown to jet black.

Skye's demon form

Kodi stops as one of the knife went through his wing. He snarled. Skye stopped and looked at Kodi. She snaps out it, and sees the gun. Her wings turn normal, as did Kodi's.

Both just stood watching the two shout. A chuckle came out Kodi, just as Skye nudged him to follow her.

(I hate storms unless it's night time.)

They ignored him until...Skye stopped in her tracks "Kodi..." And collapsed. Kodi looked around her until he saw the knife was lounged into her side. Blood flowed from the wound, as Kodi shifted and took his jacket to press against it. Skye coughed up blood, looking at Ryan as if saying help. Kodi looked around for anything but just the bag that belonged to Ryan.

Skye's eyes went wide as she saw Darren and Ryan come near her. "Grr..." She coughed up more blood. Kodi looked at the two hoping they would save her.

"Why you..." Kodi snarled, but stopped as he heard Skye yelp as the knife was taken out.

Skye strained her eyes toward Darren only hearing muffled sounds. She closed her eyes. Kodi glared at Ryan snarling "Don't make me put you through the situation she is in right now!" He grabbed the knife in his jaw and stuck it into the wall beside him.

Kodi nuzzled her then, shifted to carry her. Skye's wings covered her.

Kodi looked at Darren, "Thank you." he spoke, then glared at Ryan not noticing the knife. Skye moaned from the wound, making Kodi start to leave.

"So what? It's been done and there's nothing you can do." He said agitated. Skye was starting to rouse.

Skye awoke feeling more pain, as Darren toke her. She looked back and saw the lifeless eyes of Kodi. "Now I am the last of my kind..." She thought, tearing up but because of the pain. Suddenly she moved out Darren's grip, and fell on the floor shifting into her human form, and ran/limped. She wanted to get away from them both.

"I don't care! You humans are all alike!" Skye shouted trying to move faster.

Skye made it out, as rain poured down onto the streets of the city. She clenched her teeth feeling a cool breeze. It was fall now, but winter would be here soon. The street lights came on as the moon came up.
