Grimgrin chuckled in a friendly manner. "Well, if you don't worry about it so much, you can relax and be yourself. That will really help, too."

Grimgrin nodded. "Might as well stock the pile while the weather is on our side, right?"
He felt like she wasn't entirely done asking him questions or looking for help. The black cat struggled to find more to tell her to help the she-cat deputy. Sometimes the shock of a lot of power all at once could change a cat. Bermisse seemed to really be trying, and he thought well of her for it.
-
Grimgrin perked up. The idea of escorting her through the area of the Twoleg City they called their own made him feel like a strong, dependable tom. He felt special and like Red Naga needed him; it was a delightful sensation.
"Are you sure? We can wait until the next turn of the Changing Lights. I can show you the warehouse and the places Twolegs leave food..."
-
Grimgrin was once again pleased with her eagerness, despite her fears. It seemed that nothing bothered Naga enough to steer her away. It was both an attractive trait and one that worried Grimgrin. Would she find herself in trouble while trying to be bigger than her fears?
As the light changed to green, Grimgrin popped to his feet and set off.
"Quick! It doesn't last that long!" He exclaimed.
As the two crossed, one of the monsters came to a stop and let our an awful bleating noise akin to that of a large goose, only much, much louder. The sound made his fur stand on end, but he pressed forward until they reached the other side.

OOC;; Sorry! I lost the thread :(
"That was great, Hourkit!" Grimgrin encouraged. "But I don't think your training is quite done. You'll have to get a little bigger before we can really train. This is good practice, though, huh?"
He hoped Hourkit enjoyed his playfulness. He had never acted this young a juvenile with another cat. Grimgrin barely remembered acting like this when he was Hourkit's age.
-
Grimgrin, hearing the call of Staunton, directed his party to the war. It seemed like all they did was battle, lately. Allies were everything, right now; it was a tactic he understood well. Hopefully Hourkit would be able to entertain herself awhile while they were away. Would Naga come? He shook his head. He didn't need distractions of the heart.
The black tom went instantly into battle mode and took off to handle his duty.

Grimgrin || Blackheart Rogues || Deputy || STRONG || OPEN

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]Grimgrin paced the RiverClan boarder. He had been instructed to take his raid party here to help the Civil attack RiverClan. Perfect timing; Staunton had been ready to attack them, too as it were.[/fancypost]

Grimgrin nodded, continuing to groom Hourkit.
"Of course I will, Sweetheart. But you'll need Herbs training, too. I'm not so good at that one," he admitted.
-
Grimgrin paused in place, turning to run back to Hourkit. He gave her a quick lick and purred. "I will be, Sweetheart. Find Ekaterina, or practice those hiding places a little more." He nuzzled her and added, "I'll be back before you know it."

Grimgrin || Blackheart Rogues || Deputy || STRONG || fighting Fernpaw

[fancypost borderwidth=0px]As Fernpaw charged, Grimgrin muttered a laugh. What did she think she was doing? Claws slipped out of his paws and he easily dodged his attacker.
"What are you doing?" He teased. "Chasing leaves?"[/fancypost]

They do have a meddy cat... but he is pretty scarce. I think I have only ever seen him in one thread! A little social gathering might be nice!! I want to boost activity there, too. I love the Blackhearts!
-
Hights raised a good question -- are all the HPs active? Herbs? Deputies? Leader? If we're all active, we'll set a good example for those who are coming in to start threads. Perhaps some threads between the HPs to stir up plots will help, too.
-
Do you have the bio? Sometimes reading a bio can get my plot juices flowing :)
-
Grimgrin smirked as he finished cleaning the youngster off.
"Yes, exactly, Marigold and stuff," he said, mimicking her tone. "Our herbalists here are called Oracles. They take care of the sickest cats, but we are all supposed to know enough to help others out in times of need."
Grimgrin thought back to the class Tango had held. Only a few cats had gathered there, but they seemed so eager to learn from Jazz's pupil. He would have to meet up with Tango to see if Hourkit could join in on the next training, should there be on.
Look at him! Responsible, caring 'father'... Who would have ever thought?
-
"Do you have the balance for the cliffs? It seems that shrews and voles love to make homes in the ledges," he proposed.
-
Grimgrin, deputy of the Blackheart Rogues emerged from the Asylum, his eyes resting on a trespasser. The golden gaze narrowed and his hackles lifted slightly.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" He growled.
-
Scarclan? Did you mean BHR?
-
Grimgrin let another deep growl out. "You mean to tell me that you are openly admitting to wanting to steal food from the Blackheart Rogues?"
City cats! Clan cats! They just roamed into their territory and claimed what they wanted. The deputy would be here to stop them, that's for sure.
-
Grimgrin scoffed. "That is what 'territory' is. An area that one group has claimed over another."
He shuddered to hear the Asylum referred to as a Twoleg thing. It was their shelter and their camp. One attracted more flies with honey than vinegar, so insulting the Rogues was no path to follow.
"The crowfood the Twolegs toss out is free taking. Their scraps taste like mouse dung."
-
"That's exactly what I said - take freely from the rubbish. We maintain our food inside. Hunt here, and we will hunt you," Grimgrin warned. "Do you just wander from camp to camp, asking to steal food?"
Where were any of the other Blackhearts about now. Strength in numbers... not that the large black tom couldn't handle this on his own.
