skyriver was eating a vole thinking of his dream ounce again it was the same cat he could never fully see her but he knew that he didn't know her and he wished he did

"oh hey otterclaws how are you" he siad sleepy "how are you"

"i'm so tired i got almost no sleep last night" he said "how about you did you sleep well"he hadn't gotten a decent amount of sleep in a long time always because of his dream i disturbed him because he wanted t o know who that cat was and he had this dream every night it had been that way for a long time

"hi brikenheart " skyriver said very sleepy "how was your day did you get enough sleep last night" he asked the pretty tortieshell

"i'm so sorry i didn't know i was twitching i never do that its just that theres this cat thats always in my dreams and this time it was stranger than normal and in a way scarier than normal to" he mewed he reallt didn't know he had twich but he knew he was the one because he woke up many time in the night and his nest was beside hers

"thankes what have you been up to lately" he asked

"at least your awake enough to do normal stuff without messing it up i;ve been so tired lately that i'm lucky that i brought in anyt fresh kill at all and when i'm lucky enough to be awake i'm pondering about the strang cat in my dreams have you had any strange dreams at all" he asked he wanted to know if she dreamed of the strange she catlike he did

"oh so i'm the only one" he sighed he had hoped he wasn't the only one with the haunting dreams every night "what do you dream about you don't have to awnser if you don't want to its just that i haven't had a normal dream since i became an apprintince" he mewed

"do you have strange dreams otterclaws" he asked mabey i'm not th only one he thought

skyriver looked up to see yet another she cat coming to him but when he saw her he relized he had never seen her befor but she seemed so familiar "it's you"he suddonly knew who she was "who are you whates your name i need to know" he was desparate to finally know who the cat from his dreams

"yes lets " he felt excitment come to him as he got up finally he would find out who the cat from his dreams was, he led they way to a place that only he knew of because no one else bothered to find it he normally didn't care if other cats found this place, it had a tree and a rock big enough for two cats to sit down or lay down on he turned to the she cat "whates your name who are you and do you have strange dreams"

"really what are they about is there a strange cat in them" he mewed so happy that he might not be the only cat who has had a drwam like this even if his occured longer he looked at her and for a reason he didn't know he couldn't look away from her eyes

he purred at what she said "really your so pretty how do you not have a mate"he mewed purring then he grew serious "would you be my mate canyonclaw" he mewed

"you know i bet all the males will cry when they hear that the most beutiful she cat already has a mate"he purred rubbing her check with his he forgot about his tiredness and about his dream

"oh no one would dare flirt with oyu or hurt you with me protecting you but if they did they would end up runing with there tails in between their legs" he mewed "don't worry i won't let anything hurt you" he said

"yes i do i love you canyonclaw" he said rudding his check to hers

he laid down and fell asleep his exustion overwelming him to were he didn't have the energy the put one paw infront of the other

he purred as he fell asleep he knew with canyonclaw with him he would never be haunted with his strange dreams again "i love you" he murmered as he fell asleep

he purred loudly as he fell asleep next to canyonclaw

he woke up feeling well awake for the first time since he was an apprintice "i don't think i've slept that well since i became an apprintice" he purred in amusment as he rubbed his check against her flank breathing in her scent
