Jingle sat on top of her tree. It was an aged oak tree in the heart of a large forest. Her fur was a brown tabby, with random splotches of white. Along the branches of Jingle's tree where different leaf wraps. Each leaf wrap was first dried. Then what ever object to be placed in the leaf wrap was put in the center of the leaf. After that each leaf was folded carefully by Jingle and hung from the tree. A few leaf wraps where designed to hang from a cat's back and neck, making them useful for travel.

Ideas constantly flowed through Jingle's head. She had thought of keeping prey alive instead of killing it so that food wouldn't be gone during leaf-bare. Jingle had caught about five mice and kept them in one of the tree's many hallows. The mice never attempted jumping down, and Jingle brought them various nuts and grasses to eat. After a while they started to have young and Jingle had to fill all of the hallows with mice. The calmer ones she was able to wrap in leaves.

Jingle heard something at the trunk of the tree one morning as she lounged on one of the higher branches. It wasn't uncommon for curious loners to give her shiny rocks and twoleg collars in exchange for a mouse packet, or any one of her packets. This also gave her a chance to share her ideas with loners, so that they could spread her ideas. As Jingle made her way down the tree, she paused. The noise was a rabified cat, circling the tree. Jingles started to make her way back up the tree. "Help!" She exclaimed, knowing rabies when she saw it.

    Personality:
Jingle is a Smart cat that is always thinking. She isn't very athletic.
    History(Not needed):
Jingle used to be a kitty pet, but was left by her owners. She wandered around until she found a large oak tree that she turned into her home. Now she travels around, giving out any nicknack that she finds amusing or pretty in exchange for shiny objects and collars. She likes the ones with bells on them the best. :)

Jingle waited patently at the border. Small leaf wraps hung over her back. A single leaf warp was two different leaves made into packets for holding random objects that Jingle enjoyed. A strong stem was used to attach them so one leaf pack was on each side of her. Her brown tabby pelt was bright with youth, and her yellow eyes sparkled. A green collar was around her neck with a small bell that made amusing sounds hung around her neck. She sighed and waited for a patrol, careful not to step on clan land.

Swiftkit batted her paws at a beetle. Maybe I can kill a dog and feed it to everyone. Then every clan will be so full that they wont fight and we could all be happy. "I'm going." Swiftkit meowed and started to pad away.

    (Holy lateness)

Marbledstar watched Sunpaw as she left the den. She paused at the entrance of camp and flicked her tail. I'll just go ahead and announce it now... She thought then turned around and bounded up the tall tree.

"Let all cats old enough to catch there own prey gather around for a clan meeting."

Marbledstar waited for everyone to get settled down before she spoke. "As you know I clan is small... We need fresh blood, despite the pelt." She smiled, "Thats why I decided we should keep prisoners, to do our hunting and fighting, we could ambush a patrol and take them, I mean, most clans are too stupid to put strong cats in there border patrols."

Approved! I'll update the ranks tomorrow morning.

Marbledstar flicked her tail. "I thought in the Warrior code thing, The leaders word was the code? So isn't it... do as I say or leave?" Marbledstar never learned the code well, only the rules that worked to her advantage.

I wouldn't exactly call it a book, but so far it seems to have gotten like that. Anyway, I would like some help with it. Maybe a few extra writers and an editor of two. It is NOT wc related, but I guess the setting is similar. Here is the main characters:

    Shadow:

    Amaryllis:

    Thorn

    Nightshade

Eveningsong padded forward, Darkflash close behind. Her pelt was bright orange, and her eyes where glistening amber. She used to be a very pretty cat, but sadly fighting got the better of her, and she had many battle scars. Darkflash was an awkward moving, plain grey tom with green eyes, always narrowed in suspicion. He was always plain, no features that made him ugly, handsome, or cute, just an average cat.

"I told you to leave me alone..." Eveningsong growled, in her lulling soft voice, that seemed unfitting to her.
    "As your depu-" Darkflash began
"Shut up. You are not my deputy, you are not my mate, and you are not ANYTHING else you got in your head." Eveningsong snapped.
