She peeked down at the kits at his feet. They were adorable! "Are they yours?" she asked, completely forgetting her first question. She loved kits and these ones were practically new-born, "They're adorable."

Antoinette tried in vain to catch her breath as she desperately tried to escape her invisible pursuiters. She didn't know who was following her or why but she knew they were cats due to their footfalls. Her eyes welled with tears as she realized how truly helpless she was and in a last attempt to escape what would most likely be a life of imprisonment she scrambled into a small hollow part of a tree. For all she knew they could be trying to help her! She simply wasn't going to take the chance.
