I'm not going to lie. I love these threads you make in the help den.

    Those mean business.
    No pun intended.

This makes me sad because those jet toilets scare the crap out of me.
    ...no pun intended.

    Those unintentional puns. xD

Time and time again will the moon of a solid crimson rise above the Earth and the heavens, casting its blood red lights to mix with the gorgeous milky white of the light reflected by the sun. Wait for the right time of year and day, and only under the previously mentioned brilliance will a portal to another world open - Paradise. As its name suggests, this place is - well, paradise.

Maniacal and filled with greed was the collector’s mind at the time, thoughts plagued with stealing and keeping things for himself without a drop of remorse. Through his tent, under the shadowing canopy of a million trees did a shaft of the beautiful light fleck in and scatter around the tent in a display of light and the opening of a wide-rimmed portal. The key to Paradise, was the portal opening by a single path of light forged through leaves of pine trees.

The man found himself stunned. He stared into the portal, seeing only the lands of Paradise and whatever they could contain. A content smirk slipped onto his mouth and he quickly excited his tent to arouse some excitement in his friends. His friends' friends. Their friends. People in general would come flocking to this, curious and everything about the new land.

As the people gathered, the first man was the beginning person to step through the portal - to find a land so rich, soils so sweet and fertile, plants of exotic and beautiful species, animal life flourishing and peaceful. It had everything from white-sanded beaches to trees to shrubberies to gardens - it's namesake had been to good use, for it truly was the paradise of a lifetime. The landscape of unmatched beauty, everything about it would be his. His. Belonging to him and the humans. Everything would be made for him, the trees and the ferns and the rivers.

The other humans were not far behind him in the portal. They charged forward, killing animals, plants, everything they could get their hands on. It was practically their land, a sitting duck in the midst of nowhere just ready to be shot. The little respect of aesthetics anyone had vanished with the bang of weaponry ready to be used.

A new figure was there. At first appearing to be yet another sitting duck, just waiting to die under the new usurping from humankind. But it blurred by with unimaginable speed, attacked back with surprising power and began a protection sequence. The guardian of this place, Sacretario, would not allow this crazy takeover. No maniac would take the land of peace, love, and hope. No crazed man would disturb the namesake of this place - without the paradise of Paradise, what would they call it? Crazy human reign of distortion? The thoughts of such things caused the creature to even wince - a strange act for a foxlike animal such as itself.

On and on it went, killing humans one by one with shocking ease. Quickly did the portal's discoverers' eyes meet the creature of Sacretario, a scarring line creasing its forehead - almost the beginning of a slash. Worry clicked deep inside him - would he be next among these people, lying on the ground and falling like petals from a cherry tree? No - he would go down with a fight and that was more than certainly what he did. Before it attacked him, he carved a scar slicing the opposite way of the other on the creature's forehead, creating a firm 'X' shape there to remind the creature of this fight forever.

Yet unlike the humans, the creature kept a bit of remorse in its heart as the humans fled the place, skittering outside of the portal before Sacretario would shut it until a certain fateful day. He would hide in the stars and create several keys to stop humans from ever entering this place again, that's what he would do - keep himself hidden so no other hideous markings would be bestowed upon him in this horrible way. Quietly, he mouthed out the keys to himself in an almost silent fashion.
"The Wolfeon's blood of a boy nicknamed Black."
"The heart of a living Cyndaquil."
"A set of scales from the shiny Basculin living in the Lake of Rage."
    "And a Star Key."

And the portal was shut, sealed until the crimson moon would rise again.

    ------

Bunny groaned, a hefty sigh on her voice as her eyes rolled to the top of her head. For now, she was just stuffing whatever useful things she could find into her crimson suitcase - her swimsuit would go here, t-shirts and pants would go there, and of course a few other coats and jackets here and there. She didn't need much to survive, as it wasn’t too typical of a Pokemon Trainer to bring too many outfits along with them - yet she still enjoyed having a certain red scarf along for the ride. For some reason an odd comfort greeted her whenever it was wrapped loosely or tightly around her neck.

There was one thing missing among the packing, though - she just knew it, something wasn’t there - but what? Quickly, she scanned over the items in her head, reviewing them over to find that she was missing a pair of swimming goggles. She gave a harsh grunt before storming up the stairs to shuffle around where she put them - yes, there they were. She snatched them up and stuffed them in between a blue tank top and a pair of sweatpants, not really caring about what order they were in or how unorganized they were. She zipped the suitcase closed and lifted it, knowing she was done with the packing.

Typhlosion sat there, patiently fiddling with his bag. It was nice to have fur and not need clothes wherever you went.

"Leon!" called Bunny, "Are you packed yet?"

OOC: xD I'm laughing so much right now at Leon's response with Ivy. I just found that really amusing. And Typhlosion pokes fun at Bunny.

    IC:
Bunny let out a sigh and quickly planted her forehead in her palm. "It's not THAT much compared to what you have," she growled, the almost threatening tone of anger in her voice - a usual touch. However, keeping her cool was something that she could do - although it was a rarity.

"I know, right?" said Typhlosion in response to Saegan and Leon. "I mean.. it is just mostly copies of the same trench coat/pants etcetera. She gets OCD about cleanliness in her outfits sometimes." His words were followed by a light-hearted Typhlosion chuckle, causing Bunny to give a little snap towards him.

OOC: If he hasn't packed why is he holding a suitcase? xD And lol again, Ivy/Saegan and Leon are funny

    IC:
"Was it something I said?" asked Typhlosion, pupils widening as he stepped outside to follow Saegan. "And what's so bad about Bunny? I mean, she fusses a bit about details, shoves almost everything you could name in a suitcase, she flips out if you touch her in the slightest and she spends half the day each day in her room doing reading and research and whatnot, but she's not THAT bad... is she?"

Bunny huffed again. She wondered - what crazy occurrence lead to her traveling with Leon, of all people? She didn't consider her anger issues often, which was perhaps the cause of her confusion. In the most part, she tried keeping calm, yet it almost never worked with her temper.

(XD Okay. And by "essentials".. I read something on a website the other day where quotes from a book series were replaced in places with an "essential" but I'll say "toothbrush" here. I don't know why it reminds me of this but it was like:
"His sick toothbrush was gone. His distorted, terrifying toothbrush was gone."
"There aren't going to be lines, between toothpaste and toothbrushes."
"In the dark, the guy with the toothbrush is an easy target."
I'm sorry I just felt like posting that
And can we simply timeskip to the plane?)

    IC:
Typhlosion gave a shy shrug to suggest his unawareness of what was good with her and giggled a bit, noting in his head of how was wrong with Bunny. It was rather amusing to think out her flaws, yet he could never do it to her face - he was practically void of confidence and ambition compared to his Trainer.

"Junk!? It's hardly junk - practically just as essential as your essentials! I mean, if I'm going to research, train, explore, and enjoy myself, I need my stuff!" she growled. "And I can carry that, thank you very much." She had carried suitcases, and weights before and in fact had some pretty well days with those. "What were you exhausted about anyway? Are your 'essentials' too heavy for you?" she taunted.

Bunny stifled a laugh - yet no noise came but the sound of her mouth's right corner twitching up into a smirk. "Isn't that the one with rollers, Leon?"

    Timeskip!

    ---

Bunny stepped out of the airport, her suitcase on her back. By natural personality tendencies she kept her complaints of the bag's weight to a minimum - she would make Typhlosion carry it, but instead she gave him a little time off. A little reward for doing all the battle. And she wasn't sure - why didn't humans battle, why did they simply carry out the orders of which move was super-effective or which move was the most powerful? She gazed out onto the landscape, a bit carried away in all from the differences from her home.

Typhlosion carried a small shoulder bag full of small things. It was perhaps no pain to him, compared to that giant thing Bunny lugged around. "Hey, Saegan," he chittered, "what do you think?"

(that famous line :D "We have to get to Mistveil City before dark" How do they find the Moons (lol I mean Team Lunar) now? Is it different or similar or what?)

"Let's," proceeded Bunny, her temper strangely not flaring up - odd, Typhlosion expected it to at that time and he knew Bunny pretty well. Maybe being cramped up in a plane for a while and then being exposed to this land was more of a relief than something that set her off.

"Shall we follow?" asked Typhlosion, pacing forward on all fours to catch up with Leon and Bunny.

OOC: Have they met Rose and Jackson yet? What about Surfwave/those others?

"Okay," Typhlosion said, pushing himself back to a two-legged standing position to wait. What he was waiting for - the right time - why was he waiting for that? He didn't know, but he could wait.

Okay - now he was running. Bunny gave him an ominous stare-down with her brown eyes. Did he even THINK of her bag? Grunting, she carried on and even picked her pace up to a slower walk. If only she had worn a better pair of shoes - a pair of sneakers would do it perfectly. But no, she had to wear those sandals due to a specifically placed tear in her favorite pair that needed patching up. Gritting her teeth, she caught up to Leon and stared towards the path ahead.

Leon, you are distracted way too easily, Bunny thought to herself. Heck, she was carrying a giant suitcase and she felt like it might crush her! On second thought, she had some regrets about making Leon carry the suitcase. Sighing, she ambled towards Leon and noticed the hot springs. It might be nice to take a short break.

(Who made the Snivy in your signature? :3 It's good.)

Finally, she had dragged the bag to the hot spring. She dropped it, panting heavily and stretched out. Her eyes shut as she took off her trench coat and wrapped it around her waist, her T-shirt feeling much lighter on her skin.

And then they opened - she looked up and her expression filled with shock. All the lightness in her emotions vanished with the snap of a few fingers. She yelled in horror as one filled over her head as well - it didn't quite knock her out, yet she still felt groggy - was she in a dream? Shudders raced up and down her spine as thoughts flew through her head.

After you have some traits, try running him/her through the Mary {Kitty} Sue Litmus Test (credit goes to Wynn) a few times. It's good to know that your character is free from being a Mary Sue.

Now I'll actually start at - or closer to - the start than where i was last time. Think out some very basic, simple personality traits - is he/she kind, friendly, loving, easy to anger, rude, snappy, annoying, willing to be someone who they aren't, overly hopeful of some things that will never happen, crazy in some form or another? Pick out a few traits here and there to begin with (for example, bossy), then start to think - how are they bossy? Do they snap at other characters almost constantly to tell them what to do, or do they secretly think that they're higher up yet it reflects on their personality? Do they act sweet and kind towards the high positions, but outright lash out at other cats? There are so many different types of ways to portray a certain trait.

Now how did they get that trait? When they were younger, did it rub off on them from a close friend? Did they idolize a parent/friend and therefore gain a trait from them? Did they supposedly "escape from an enemy Clan at a very young age to avoid torture and whatnot"? Were they once humble and sweet, but were eventually bossed around by a mentor/etc. to the point that a bossiness just grew on them?

The possibilities are endless. Oh and be sure to do your research on mental illnesses before you outright give them one. Research helps quite a bit for things like this.

I hope I helped :3 I don't really know which Clan he/she would go in as I haven't really been roleplaying with this terrible lack of RP muse here. Usually I think names should have something to do with either personality or physical appearance, or maybe they could be a subtle hint to plots/history etc. Since he/she is such a blank slate I don't think I can really help you on that.
