As the sun rises Moonstar wakes up and remember's that her kit ran away but wait this isn't where she was last Moonstar blinks a couple times and see's bottles, test tubes, and relises she's in the scientist's lab.

Midnight walks through the lava water fall carrying a dead scavenger (human).

Moonstar jumps at the cage to break the door but nothing happens. She tries her dragon form and breaths fire at the walls but it does nothing. After 2 whole hours of trying to escape she falls down exhausted. Just then the scientist walks in with 2 other scientist.

They start talking in a weird langue.

History: All during my apprenticeship, my best friend was by my side and we had the best of times, but then as I did better than her at hunting, fighting and climbing, she grew jealous and would not speak to me anymore. Finally one day she ran off and I have not seen her since.

Ashley and Midnight walk through the land the knew since they were little.
"Ahh," says ashley taking a deep breath.
So what do you want to do today train,hunt,play,swim,or race? asks Midnight.
"I was thinking we could swim then hunt. how about that? says ashley.
"Yes I think that'll be very nice." says Midnight.
"RACE YOU TO THE OCEAN!"
"1...2....3 GO!" Shouts Midnight.
together the two friends rider and lion race to the ocean for the begining of a new day.

"Lets have a swimming contest." says Ashley.
"Ok, first one to dive to the bottom and finds the coolest shell wins." says Midnight.
"On your mark.... get set.... GO!" shouts Ashley.
Then Ashley runs at max speed and dives a perfect dive that sends her shooting down in the Ocean. Midnight follows but does a clumsily dive (because you know lions can't dive really) into the ocean and swims down after Ashely.

Ashley bursts up out of the water in her hand she has a moon shaped peirl the color of the night sky.
Then Midnight follows bursts up to with a gold colored shell with silver swirls on it.
"We'll see which one wins on the shore ok?" says Ashley.
"Ok. Race you to the shore!" shouts Midnight.
Ashley swims as fast as she can to the shore but Midnight wins this time.
