The third girl-who appeared to be the leader- laughed and took a step towards him. "Oh how funny... You think you're so tough, don't you...? Oh wait... Am I supposed to be scared...?" she scoffed. "You don't look so tough to me. It's scum like you that taint this country!" She hissed. One of the other girls laughed. "Oh yes... Just look at him! Filthy brat... He's hideous!" She said, grinning. Anger flared in Sav's eyes, but she held back because she knew she could get a little... Out of hand when it came to situations like this. She gritted her teeth together roughly, clenching her fists. "Hideous indeed~!" Chimed the last girl. "Just look at his eyes! They're filthy like rainwater!" She spat.

As the girls turned to flee, traces of fear on their faces, Sav raced over to Alois and placed a hand on his shoulder, holding him back slightly. "Just let them go. It's not worth it." She said, and though her voice was calm, it was also laced with venom aimed at the girls. A few people had turned to look at them, wondering what all the ruckus was about.
-
Sav's eyebrows furrowed as she stared over at Alois. 'I do hope he's not taking what they said to heart...' she thought, putting back the violets and picking up some more bluebells. After all, they were Alois' favorite. "Look, Alois, more bluebells." She said softly, trying to cheer him up a bit.
-
With those words, her heart sank. Those girls really had gotten to him. Sav placed a hand on his cheek lovingly, turning his head so he was looking at her. She smiled at him fondly. "Blue, of course. A stunning, shining, shade of blue. They remind me of the ocean. Deep and beautiful. Very, very beautiful." She said to him, placing a light kiss on his forehead. All she wanted was to hold him close, kiss him and let him know how much she loved him. Unfortunately, they were in public so that would have to wait until later...
{A couple years ago I went on vacation to the Caribbean, and the water there was SO beautiful! It was clear as a crystal, but still deep and beautiful like Alois' eyes~} -
"Yes, good idea." she said. Sav smiled and kissed his nose before walking over to the salesman, waiting for Alois to follow. "We'd like to buy these flowers, sir." She said.
-
Sav walked after him, a slight skip in her step. "So, do you want to leave now? Or stay a bit longer?" She asked once she had caught up with him.
{Omg, when I saw you replied I got all excited and started squealing and my parents I was having a heart attack XD They got so scared!} -
"Good idea." She agreed, heading over to the carriage. Once the door had opened, she climbed inside of it and sat down, waiting for Alois to join her.
{LOL! My parents think I'm crazy X3} -
Sav took one of the bluebells out of the clutch and twirled in around in her fingers. She paused for a moment, looking over at him. "Hey, Alois...? Umm... You aren't taking what those girls said to you back there seriously, are you...?" She asked, her voice concerned..
-
Her eyes narrowed. "I can tell that you're lying." She said, watching him closely.
-
"But I don't want to leave it alone, Alois. Those girls hurt you, and that's not acceptable." She protested, her eyes flaring angrily.
-
"Fine!!" She yelled, shrinking back to the other side of the carriage, and leaning her head against the window. She sighed sadly, and stared down at the bluebells, slowly twirling them around.
-
Sav also got out of the carriage, walking to the manor. Once inside she quickly made her way to her room, locking the door and throwing herself onto the bed. She lied there in silence, staring blankly at the door.
-
A loose piece of hair fell into her eyes, but she just blinked, honestly not caring. After a few minutes Sav began to get cold and crawled under the covers, pulling hem up and over her head. She didn't know when the tears started flowing, but once they started they just wouldn't stop. She sobbed into her pillow, not wanting anyone to hear her.
-
Sav gasped slightly at his voice, quickly wiping away her tears. She walked over to the door and took a deep breath, opening it slightly and peering out at him.
-
Sav remained silent for a moment, before turning her head to look at him. "I'm sorry I yelled back." She said quietly, her eyes still vaguely watery.
-
"No, you had every right to keep your feelings to yourself." she said. Sav scooted closer and wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug. "I love you so much, Alois..." She whispered, nestling her face in the crook of his neck. "I want you to know that you can tell me anything though. I won't judge you."
-
She pulled away for a moment, only to plant a gently kiss on his lips. She placed her hand on his cheek, slowly stroking it.
-
Sav used her free hand to pull him closer, before gently running her fingertips up and down his back.
