"Cool." Shikon said. "I haven't been able to wear my hair in a braid since Adrian was killed. Except a fishtail braid, but I don't really like fishtails."
Buster seemed a bit shocked that it had't taken shoving to get Shikon up. He blinked and walked out of her bedroom, sitting down next to Jace and watching him braid Shikon's hair.
((I keep wanting to type 'Alyson' instead of Shikon xD))

"Here," Shikon held out a black rubber band from her wrist. "Oh, and I'm thinking of getting a new dog."
Buster yawned.

"Of course he won't." Shikon said. "I was thinking a German shepherd, or a pit bull." She went over to Buster and bent down, stroking the dog's silky black coat.

"Okay. You better not be ditching me again!" She called after him, sitting down next to Buster. "What do you think of me getting another dog?" She asked quietly,her arm around Buster.

Buster just yawned and put his head on her leg.

Shikon got to her feet and walked over to the tunnel, and saw Jace making his way back. She smiled and waved, and saw what he had in hims arms. She jumped out of the tunnel and ran over to him, reaching to pet the little puppy. "Oh my gosh! He's so adorable! Where did you find him?"

"Aww, poor little puppy. Humans can be so heartless." She said, kneeling down and trying to pick up the little puppy. "Why would they abandon such a cute little German shepherd?"

"Edward." Shikon said simply, stroking the little dog's soft fur.

Shikon giggled and carried Edward into her room. "Okay," She said, sitting down on her bed.((I almost typed 'bird' there, idk why xD))"Buster!" She called, setting Edward down on the bed.

Buster trotted in and jumped onto the bed, sniffing Edward cautiously before laying down next to Shikon.

"Buster, this is Edward. Edward, this is Buster." Shikon introduced them, smiling. "Edward is not a chew toy." She scratched Buster behind the ears and slowly got out of bed. "I'm going to go out for a walk. Buster, don't hurt Edward, okay?"
Buster lay his head on his paws and let out a yawn.

Shikon smiled and walked out of the bedroom, and out the exit tunnel. She walked towards the forest slowly, hoping that Buster wouldn't give Edward any trouble.

Buster blinked, lifting his head up. He stood up and turned around, laying down facing away from Edward. He lay his head back on his paws and closed his eyes.

Shikon reached the forest quickly and climbed into a tree, listening for any evidence of someone else in the forest. The forest was particularly quiet tonight, though, so Shikon simply walked down one of the many hiking trails.

Buster blinked his eyes open and watched the puppy go, but simply remained on the bed, closing his eyes once more and quickly falling asleep.

((I feel bad for Buster. He just can't get a break xD))
Buster rolled over in his sleep.

Shikon leaned against a tree, listening to the quiet sounds of the night. She loved coming to the forest to just walk and listen to the night. It made her feel very peaceful, very calm, and helped her when she needed to think things through. For instance, a training schedule for her new puppy.

i iz bored. Alleykat's too busy to reply on our thread. No one else is on. I have a surprising amount of muse for werewolves/vampires but nothing to use it on xD

Buster let out a yelp and squirmed inside the pillowcase, frantically trying to get out.

I guess I'll see how well he's trained tomorrow, and then go from there. Shikon thought. Maybe I should train him as a trick dog instead of a guard dog, since I already have Buster.

Shikon got to her feet and scanned the forest around her. No signs of anyone but her. She shrugged and turned to walk out of the forest and back to the cave. She opened the door and walked in. She smiled as she saw Jace and walked over to him. "Did you have a nice nap?"

Buster gave up, going limp in the pillowcase.

"I just went for a walk." Shikon replied, peeking into her bedroom. "Where's Buster?" She asked, ignoring Edward's barking.
