Sandstide pushed his muzzle into Gracepaw's cheek comfortingly.
"It looks scary the first time," he said, giving a playful snicker; "And I think you're over exaggerated it, too; It's just a calm mote that surrounds the camp; and it's only about 3 tail-lengths deep. The real danger is the river outside the territory; If you think this is fast, then oh boy."
Sandstride backed into the water; "Here, I'll help you then"

"Definitely," Silvertorrent assured, "There's a lot of scents at first, so these several days everything might seem like a whirl; But when you get used to it, they'll be implanted in your memory and feel like natural."
Silvertorrent paused his speech to question whether what he said made sense...
"Up there," He noted, pointing with his nose up ahead to the approaching bank of the river, on the other side of it were some rocks, and beyond the rocks was a wall of trees.

I've been away for awhile unexpectedly, but I'm back now, and I'm excited to pick things up again~!

I'll be active daily from now on, checking in multiple times throughout the day. I'm a semi-literate to literate player, although I do my best not to make posts drag on for paragraphs upon paragraphs.

[glow=red,2,300]A low but furious growl emanated from in front of the strangers path. A muscular jet-black tom was standing in the open, his silky fur bristling up as his back arched.

Nightfeather, like usual, was on his patrols around the borders of the territory. If it was one thing he was sick of seeing, it was trespassers; lately, it seemed they were pouring in like drops in a rainfall. It didn't take much effort anymore to pick up the scent of an unfamiliar body, as it almost seemed second nature to him.

Though simply because several cats made the mistake of trespassing, didn't mean they ever got away without some nasty scars.

Nightfeather's green eyes blazed. "You ThunderClan trash!" He spat, his muscles were tensed and ready to pursue a chase if required, "Still think you can sneak over here anytime you please?!"[/glow]

A soft white warrior lifted his head from the reed-constructed bed; elegant green eyes finding their way to the voice that had suggested an idea which caught his attention.
"Hunting?" Coralfur said; his vocals were gentle yet confident, "I'd like to join, if I may. I've yet to put in my time for the Clan today."

    [sup]

[glow=red,2,300]A white and black-ticked tabby tom made his way into the bracken-woven den, the soft texture of his fur was long gone due to aging. His walk and demeanor always felt alien to him now; after years of being a strong and noble warrior, age simply might never feel normal. But it was the regular way of life that he was willing to accept: And it brought wonderful new privileges.

Kindleheart looked past all the kits scrambling around the den; oh what a lovely place ThunderClan's nursery had become, and how populated it was indeed.

Ages and ages ago, things had been different. Very different. And many things had changed in his lifetime; thing that he didn't want to think of being forgotten when he would finally pass into StarClan. Being an Elder meant plenty of free time, and one of his favourite pass times was sharing stories with the kits; keep the history (and the fantasy) alive, and keep the restless kits amused.

"Would any of you young'un's be interested in hearing an old Warriors tales?" He called out, sitting down and curling his tail over his paws.[/glow]

Coralfur stretched his paws out forward, making an almost inaudible mewl of pleasure, getting up on his paws and beginning a new stretch, arching his back up this time.
"Sure" He said finally, though he turned his head around quickly to lick a patch of fur down on his shoulder. "I believe some of the earlier patrols smashed up an area of ice, so we should be able to fish without trouble"

[glow=red,2,300]Skypaw, a gray-and-white patched tom, trotted by, his upbeat walk was always a little silly to watch, although he didn't seem to know it. Despite it, he spoke in a rather formal voice; what an oddity he was.
"Silentpaw, you really fit your name" He commented, approaching the pair of his Clanmates. He glanced between the pair, "What are you both doing out so late, anyways? You sure seem jumpy, Bellpaw, is something going on here?"
    [/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Nightfeather flickered his eyes to Ambershine in acknowledgement, quickly returning his focus back to the intruder, lashing his tail.

"ThunderClan, you think we're idiots? You think we're just kits, still figuring out the expanses of our territory?" he snarled, his teeth barring. "Your territory borders on that filthy Twolegplace; ours has nothing to do with it. You have no reason to cross our territory, other than to fufill your desire to be ripped apart!"[/glow]

OOC: nightfeather's such a jerk imsorry

[glow=red,2,300]Kindleheart gave a warm smile-like expression as he looked over the group of kits. Such youth always cheered him up; although more-so, it was the thought of their futures. One day, these tiny balls of playful fur would gain their warrior name and fight nobly for ThunderClan, gaining their own wealthy banks of memory and knowledge to one day, perhaps, be right in this same den, telling their own stories, just like himself. It was a precious thought, really.

"I have many stories, young ones" He began, "Legends of the ancient Clans: LeopardClan, TigerClan, and LionClan, the cats said to be as big as horses, and more powerful than four mountain lions put together." It did occur to him, after he said it, that he might have to explain what a horse or a mountain lion was. "I also have legends of how the four Clans in the forest came to be, or even how there was actually a fifth Clan hundreds upon hundreds of moons ago..." His wise gaze swept over the cluster of little kittens. "Which should I begin with first, hmm?"[/glow]

Skypaw gave a glance of thankful support to Cometpaw as he dipped his head low, coming up beside the she-cat and looking up at her in approaching concern. "You don't look it at all, what's the matter, Bellpaw...?"

Coralfur padded after the pair, his steps were soundless excluding the inevitable crunching of the snow beneath his paws.
"Lake?" He said, his ear twitching in confusion, "Are we planning to go off RiverClan territory?"

Ooc: We're in the first setting of the book, where it's assumed the Clans never had to leave, so there's no lake *At least it was that way in '09 and in '12 before I went away* Did an event happen that the Clans moved to the lake? I can't seem to find anything that indicates it

Ic: Coralfur gave a concerned stare, glancing over to Silverstripe for a moment, then back to Frostclaw.

[glow=red,2,300]Kindleheart gave a purr of amusement. "There indeed was once a Clan named SkyClan, and today there still is. There is debate, however, between whether it's the real SkyClan from ancient times, or whether it's a Clan named after them," he said. "The original SkyClan once lived near the border of ThunderClan and ShadowClan. You haven't been out of camp yet, but I'm sure you've heard of Twolegplace, yes? Before the two-legs moved in and set up their homes, that territory was beautiful grassy land: Which belonged to SkyClan. They were forced to move when the Twolegs took their home from them." He paused; "At least, that's what the legends tell, you'd have to speak to a SkyClanner yourself for confirmation"

He took another pause, this time to carefully gather up the pieces in his memory of the story he was to tell; of how the Clans began. It was a rather long one, so it required the correct amount of spice to keep it from becoming dull very quickly. Where had he heard this story again...? From who first told him, he couldn't quite remember. But as he'd heard many versions of it, the one he was to present was his favourite.[/glow]
