I like the Ferali from The Night Angel Trilogy...It's a fictional myth critter, tho. It absorbs people and can change shape into many creatures, like centaurs and lions, etc.

omg piney, Whenever me and my brother play the southern gate level of LOTR The Return of the King you go up to the gate, or rather "lawn", and this giant orc thing jumps down from the top of the gate and screams at the players. So whenever the giant jumps down me and my brother always say "GET. OFF. MY. LAAAAAAAAWN!" Lolz it's so random, but hilarious.

Ravenwing closed her eyes against the outside light. Scents of rain and muddied earth drenched her fur. She hadn't gone out much during the rainstorm. Laying on the cave floor, she looked around for Ambiance. The tom had always been there for her, since she had found the cave. It seemed to be much less hers than theirs. Even when he had left, she still thought of him. Now that all her kits had essentially abandoned her, it was just her, Ambiance, and whomever else wast still hanging around. Everyone was in this for life. For once she didn't question that thought. "Ambiance?" She, quietly, called the tom's name.
