Smudge looked to the side, his ears flattening in thought.
After a few moments of thinking he looked right at Minx.
He was still a little confused on why she disliked toms...
but he thought he had figured it out now!
"What about me? Are you not a fan of me? Cause if you aren't, that's okay. If I was you, I wouldn't be a fan of me either."
He mewed innocently, smiling again.
"I'm Smudge by the way, also called Smudgy-poo..."
He mewed, mumbling the last part.
He wasn't proud of the nickname, but it wasn't all that bad.
Whatever the word 'poo' meant.
The dark tom's gaze moved between Minx, to the fire. It was just so darn amusing! He had the urge to bat at it... but refused. It simply wasn't polite! Running off to play in the middle of a conversation?
Just too rude to even think of.

Minx blinked once wondering what he was thinking about right now. She wasn't sure in what way he was going to take it, perhaps he might even leave? She sat up a bit straighter as he turned to look back directly at her. His face appeared to be confused so she wondered what it was he was confused about.
Her face crumpled into a somewhat frown and sad kind of look and her eyes were tinted in confusion. Not at him but at herself and she wasn't able to find the words to reply to him. She fell silent for a moment and stared at her paws not being able to meet those innocent eyes of his. If she did she would surely buckle.
"Erm well it's complicated but I don't hate you." She mewed, that much was diffidently true she knew that, she lifted her head again as he finally introduced himself. She found herself smiling a little at the second name he said. Was that something the two-legs called him?
"Well then it's nice to meet you Smudge." She grinned.

Crypticpaw blinked and was confused since her question hadn't really been answered and she decided to try again, "But then where do all the loner and Kittypet's go when they die then?" She mewed and gazed up at him with her wide red eyes.
The wind blew gently causing Crypticpaw to be sprayed gently but the rain she glanced over at the sky again, it didn't look like the rain was going to let up. How long would they be stuck here, she wondered.

Minx was defiantly not a cat know for patients more she was known for her short temper that was ready to explode at any moment. She sat at the tom with annoyance apparent on her face as she lashed her tail back and forth, though she had some satisfaction in known that he obvious knew it wasn't going his way. She wondered what this tom wanted anyways.
She raised one eyebrow again and suppressed the urge to whack him with her paw. It would be so easy she could do it right now, he was obviously trying to provoke her and it was in some ways working. She took a deep brief and quickly pushed down the temper that was threatening to boil, but she was close to snapping.
"Who said I even wanted to start a conversation?" Minx mewed, "Want me to ask something to keep the conversation going? Alright then, when are you leaving?" She mewed wanting him to crack as well.

She is the spitting image of her older sister Alyx except for the fact that she is a little smaller and the eye colors are switched round.

"It's not far from here I promise." A black and white she cat mewed casting a glance behind her as she moved slowly forwards. "Are you positive?" The other she-cat mewed slowly following. "Of coarse I am Aida when have I ever been wrong." Alyx replied. The two she-cats were twin siblings completely identical. They were both Japanese black and white bobtails. Alyx was the older of the two.
Aida had a cut on her shoulder and Aida was searching for some herbs to put on it. Both of them knew herbs but Alyx by far knew a lot more then her younger sibling. Their mother had been teaching them, their mother had previously been a healer in a group. Alyx had always however been more interested then Aida.
Alyx paused scenting cats up ahead but where the cats where she could also smell the herb she needed. She continued forwards followed by Aida. The two came into view and Aida spotted the other cats. Alyx ignored them and continued to the patch of herbs she was looking for. "Over here Aida." She called to her sibling, "This herb will help with your cut."

Minx blinked as she saw that Smudge seemed to be pleased by her words. She blinked not used to someone being so easily pleased she had only said she didn't not hate him and yet he seemed to be so happy about it. What a weird tom.... It wasn't that she didn't not like that about him though. She sighed and laughed a little at herself.
She looked up when Smudge asked her if she had ever had people before and slowly shook her head, "No.... I've always been a loner my mother and my father" Her tone grew angry at the word father but she carried on anyways, "Were both loners." She told him.
She watched with the interest as the tom suddenly seemed to angry about something and wondered what it was. Did he to have a bad experience in his past like her?

Crypticpaw paused for a moment thinking, would she got to the loners place when she died? Or would she go to Starclan? Maybe she would only go to Starclan if she believed in it? She wasn't sure but decided not to ask. Her ears perked again as he shuddered again at the mention of the other place. "What is this other place you speak off?" She asked boldly.
She glanced up noticing the rain was easing up and then glanced back at Hawkeye when he spoke and nodded slowly, "I don't mind at all."

Aida stared blankly over at the other cats, she wasn't used to seeing so many let along interacting with them. She had jumped a little when the male who seemed to be in charge addressed her and her sister. Backing up she stuck close to her sister unsure what to do she glanced down at her sister but she seemed completely unaware or more like she didn't really care about their surroundings.
Alyx closed her eyes and a frowned passed over her face, she had heard the male address them but hadn't even bothered to look up, to focused on the herb, it was hard though to concentrate with all the noise. She gently picked up the herb and nipped the end.
"Hold still." Alyx ordered her sister who froze. She then applied the juice to the the cut on her sister shoulder and stepped back. "How's that feeling?" She asked. Aida paused and slowly tested her shoulder before her eyes lit up, "It feels so much better! Your amazing Alyx, what was that?" Alyx sighed, "You should know it was like one of the first things mother taught us." She mewed.
"Oh really? Oh yeah that's right." Aida mewed with a laugh.
Alyx sighed again sometimes her sister could be such a scatterbrain.

Ebony's eyes connected with Amber's, and she saw the unspoken command there. With a sigh, she rose to her paws and slipped unobtrusively between Lilith and the brush, before speaking. "If you don't stay," she meowed, sounding like she had rehearsed the speech a thousand times, "it will be my painful duty to detain you." The averagely-sized, but still strong she-cat flexed her claws
Ebony purred at Asterix after glancing at Amber. "We are honored to have you with us. Later, perhaps, if you like, I will tell you about your duties here."
After speaking to her, his gaze was once again directed at Alyx and Aida. "You two," he called, though not sharply at all, "may I have a word with you?"

"Gez it's noisy here." Alyx mewed rolling her eyes with a sigh.
"Oh I don't know... It's not so bad, we haven't been with loads of cats in a while now." Aida mewed with a grin.
Alyx smiled a little and gently cuffed her younger sisters ear. From what she could hear from what was happening with some of the other cats it seemed her and Aida diffidently weren't going anywhere fast. Ah well. It wasn't like they had anywhere they needed to go.
Alyx ears perked up and she stared at the tom again as he addressed them again. "W-what should we do?" Aida mewed a little lost.
"Well lets not keep the tom waiting." Alyx replied and headed forwards. Aida followed after, "Something you needed?" Alyx asked sitting down not far off where Ebony was though it seemed he was busy talking to others at the moment.

Minx could see the obvious curious gleam in Smudges eyes, she knew that look all to well. The end of her tail twitched and she waited for the tom to start bombarding her with questions.... Well maybe that was over exaggerating it a bit, though she was diffidently certain that he would ask some sort of question and as she had guessed he did ask something.
She flinched slightly at his question and looked away for a moment before she replied, "I had a older brother and a younger sister." After saying that she fell silent lost in thoughts of when her siblings where still alive. What would they be like right now?
Out of the corner of her eye she watched Smudge inch away from the fire and chuckled a bit to herself.

"Dark forest?" Crypticpaw mewed and looked at the tom in confusion as he stuttered to say the word and shivered. She watched his green eyes dart round as if he was half expecting something to jump out and attacking him for just merely saying the word. Crypticpaw didn't understand what he was getting so worked up about, she guessed it was probably something she would know if she had been born a clan cat.
"So bad cats go there right?" She mewed breaking the silence with another question her curiosity bubbling.

Amber followed Lilith unobtrusively, though she winced at the she-cat's words. "I'll tell you about what is expected of us," she meowed, nodding quietly to Splatter who, she guessed, was also assigned to guarding the newcomer.
Ebony dipped his head to the two she-cats, eyes becoming more friendly. "Yes, as a matter of fact. You seem to know about herbs? I couldn't help but notice what went on over there," he meowed, his tail-tip twitching once before stilling again. He was still disturbed about Lilith, but he couldn't show it - couldn't let it hurt him. At all.
Besides, once she had been there for a short time, she would learn that it was better than roughing it. He hoped.
But she would be protection and strength for those he loved, who he termed his "children," when nobody was around. Ebony would die for them, with no questions asked. Taking prisoners for them was more difficult though - but he was willing to do it.

Alyx's ear slowly twitched as she watched Ebony even though his eyes became more friendly when he turned to look down at her and her and Aida she could sense that he was unsettled. She watched with slight amusement as she watched Lilith stubbornly refuse to listen to them. Closing her eyes she nodded and answered Ebony's question, "That's right. Me and Aida have been trained to use herbs."
Aida blinked as Alyx said her name and quickly mumbled, "Alyx's a lot better at remembering them then I am though...." Alyx glanced glanced back at her sister, even though she was a scatter-brain she knew that if the situation got serious Aida was able to recall any herb she needed. "Why do you want to know?" Alyx mewed turning back to look at Ebony.

Minx watched in amusement at Smudge's reaction, she say the horror and panic in his eyes, she was used to this, though it wasn't his fault at all. It wasn't like he would be able to know what had happened to her in the past. She closed her green eyes briefly before she opened them once more and focused them back on the tom in front of her. She watched as his fur bristled and then he desperately tried to apologize.
She could see the worry in his eyes, she tilted her head to one side and watched him for a moment her eyes gleaming with interest. What exactly was he expecting her to do? It seemed he was bracing for the worst. Minx didn't mind at all, at first it had stung when ever anyone had asked about her family but now she was used to it. Well... She kind of was anyways.... It still hurt just a bit thinking about it.
She quickly shook her head and got rid of all the thoughts in her head. Minx merely dismissed it with a flick of her tail. "It's fine." She mewed, "There was no way you could have known."

"Hmmm....." Crypticpaw mewed as she thought about it. A place where bad cats go huh? I wonder if my father will end up there..... I hope so.... Her claws dug into the ground as she tore up some of the grass as the continued to walk. The ground was still moist from the rain so her paws got muddy not that she minded.
"Um...." She thought about it, did she have anything else she wanted to know? She wasn't sure. "I can't think of anything right now but if I do I'll let you know." She told him.

Alyx's ear slowly twitched as she watched Ebony and the tom behind him. It was obvious they were trying to start up a group... Well they already had but if they didn't have a healer yet that meant their group mustn't be very big yet. It also meant in some ways they were venerable, a group without someone knowledgeable about herbs obviously wasn't going to last long.
Aida peered round from behind her sister and stared over at Ebony and Technique she then eyed her sister wondering what she would say. If Alyx accepted then Aida would follow her if she refused she would be right behind her to back her up.
"Yes she's my sister." Alyx mewed before she proceeded with a question, "I may be interested but what would be in it for us?"

Crypticpaw looked over at Hawkeye, "Of coarse your my mentor aren't you? If if it might be temporary." She mewed her eyes gleaming cheekily. But really she did need a mentor and she honestly wouldn't mind if it was Hawkeye. It would be easier to since she knew him know, she hated awkward introductions.
The sky was clearing now and she could see the vast beautiful blue sky, her eyes stared up at it in wondered. Sometimes she wondered what it was like to be a bird flying through the sky.
