coming across the sleeping body of pillow nearby one of his favorite napping spots wasn't something he really expected. was she taking his hobby or something? with a quiet exhale from his nose the tall hybrid fell to the ground beside her, careful and silent as he landed on his side. he guessed he could sit here and make sure she didn't get stolen by some brave enemy. propping his head up on a paw the normally sloth like wolf remained unusually alert, his eyelids nearly lifted all the way for once, watching boredly as the sun shimmered on the surface of the, well, the shimmering lake.

whether he was lucky or not, mike didn't really know, but a yelp of pain had awoken him from his snoozing spot in the shadows. it wasn't a secret that the start seeker slept in some unusual places and at unusual times of the day. but he didn't often expect to be woken up by something as obnoxious as this and in the middle of the territory in the middle of the night. promotions weren't anything special to him. they just meant more work and he definitely didn't feel the same as fitz. why get drunk because of a little promotion. it wasn't like they were getting a pay raise or anything.
approaching on deft paws through the dark he came to stand beside merlot, staring blankly down at fitz. "need help carrying him back to camp?" where all the herb stashes were instead of whatever merlot could find in their small pouch.

was mike always going to be one of the first to arrive whenever someone wasn't paying attention and stumbled across the border? probably. did he even enjoy it? not really. it was cutting into his napping time, his job was. being a star seeker or whatever the rank was called was really on his last nerves. not that he had a whole lot of them. he just wanted to find a nice tree to lay under and take a nap. he just wanted to enjoy the weather that he didn't even have to adjust to because it was always so cold. the few upsides to being a walking icicle. "you're intruding," began the wolf in a slow, bored drawl, a brow lifted as he came to stand in front of the stranger, taking note of the rather ballsy birds that seemed to surround her.
"you got some kind of connection with birds?" questioned the wolf dryly, head tilted slightly. he wasn't going to try and count the number of birds but he did wonder how many there were.

he wasn't really a hunter. he could hunt, he just didn't do it often. he actually didn't eat that often either. it wasn't like he was skipping meals on purpose or anything, he just did a lot of sleeping and because of it tended to forgo meals. it wasn't killing him yet. standing in the large entryway of the palace the tall wolf let a loud yawn part his jaws, eyes tearing up at the corners because of it. groaning softly and popping his neck and shoulders he spoke out, loud enough to be heard but not to disturb anyone, "i'm going on a hunting patrol if anyone wants to come." he hoped that not many actually came. he kind of liked his alone time but this had been just one of his many his weekly tasks.

mike would get where she was coming from. he didn't pay a whole lot of attention to his surroundings either, but he also lived here and knew the territory like the back of his paw. he could probably walk through the entirety of it with his eyes closed. but then in a different territory he would most likely wander across the border as well. he didn't care much for them, he mostly just cared about wherever his next napping spot would be. clicking his tongue lazily at her spitting response he grunted, "hey, it's cool, not gonna kill you for it." he wouldn't but he could think of a few others that would have no problem with attacking her for trespassing.
"i'm mike, this is the coven of elysia or blizzardclan was its more common name. you can stay here, uh i guess we'd like the company," introduced he, continuing to eye up the birds with a slight furrow to his brow. they'd probably go away eventually, he just hoped that they didn't crap in any of his napping spots. "what's your name?"

there may have only been a small handful of times mike got restless, where his paws got twitchy and he felt the need to do something with himself. no, most of the time he could lay around and stare at the clouds or nap. that was what he did best. but the one time he'd had itchy paws was just recently, when he'd finally gotten up and left the floating archipelago that he normally lived on. but joining the dynasty was one of the rare times he'd gotten restless and had to do something.
approaching silently the wolf hybrid stared down at holo, an empty look to his dull brown eyes. it was second nature to linger around the border by now, he was the only member of the official welcoming committee in elyisa and hanging out near the border was what he did best. besides sleeping.
-
he didn't get a lot of injuries. most of them were accidentally self inflicted though whenever he did. it wasn't on purpose, he would never, that was wildly inappropriate. but it just happened that way. most, if not all, of his injuries were an array of new and old scars spreading across the expanse of his lean back, hidden well beneath his thick, wild mange of white and black fur. as far as he was aware there wasn't anything wrong with the more recent ones, they were clean to his knowledge but he guessed there was nothing wrong with getting them checked out.
approaching at a slow, loping pace the towering hound glanced to the side, eyeing up sear. when the kid wasn't screaming his testicles off he didn't seem so bad. maybe there was hope for him yet. silently taking a seat near the side he'd wait for spiritline to get done with the goofy blonde cat first, although neither of their injuries were much of anything.
-
awoken from his nap yet again. it seemed with all the recent joiners lately he'd been getting woken up a lot more often. he hoped it didn't become too much of a trend otherwise he might have to start taking his naps in the dynasty. but she wasn't wrong, he was a lazy ass. shuffling over on large paws and long legs the towering wolf hybrid came to stand before her, staring blankly down at her. "..i'll take a few, i guess."
-
it came to him in a dream. it was an omen, it was the future. not really, he just kind of thought of it out of the blue. it was probably already used on someone but for a slacker such as himself it would be his first attempt using this move. maybe if it worked out well he could come up with more and teach the rest of his clanmates. elysia could have its own special type of fighting. that'd be neat. it would be useful until their tactics were discovered.
facing an npc a good distance away the towering wolf glanced upwards towards the sky beneath his heavy eyelids before beginning to roll his head and shoulders around, popping his joints rather loudly. maybe he should start moving a bit more often than this. lifting a brow towards the npc he got a silent confirmation that he could attempt his stupid attack idea.
jolting forward in a flurry of mainly white fur with blurs of black mixed in he darted past the npc, their fur brushing as he passed them. halting abruptly he furrowed his brows as he kicked his back legs out, aiming for the back of the npc's head, or if they had turned to watch him like he'd hoped, their face. lucky for them though he'd gone a bit too far past them, even with his long legs. not to mention he hadn't really been trying to hit them anyway, hell, he could probably knock out a tooth or two with this out of the blue attack he'd come up with.
clicking his tongue as he faced the npc and shrugged he spoke, a wry and jagged grin marring his features, "let's try again."
-
and whatever positive mood he might've been was up in flames at the sound of sear's screams. ears pinned to his scalp he tried his damnedest to ignore the dumb blonde but, damn, why was he standing right next to mike? biting his tongue he remained silent as pillow approached, speaking softly and sweetly as ever. she was such a good kid. "..ignore him," muttered out the shockingly tall wolf with a sideways glance towards the spiky little bastard, gently placing a paw between witch and sear. wonder if he got enough attention as a kitten.
"i'm mike, nice to meet you," he carried on easily, his smile tired and not reaching his dark chocolate brown eyes. "uh, you can join or leave, uh we'd appreciate your company though if you decide to join." he shrugged. that sounded welcoming, right? he wasn't typically a mediator or the most welcoming guy. he was just kind of a lazy, blunt mutt.

dinner plate ears twitched faintly as the near silent steps of clove reached them making his head turn barely more then a fraction. smiling tiredly up towards her and noting the tin in her jaws he watched silently and patiently as she revealed worms to be inside. oh, right, that's what fish ate. worms, not bread. maybe he wasn't sleeping well? could've been the new territory. ah, he'd adjust soon even if it wasn't blisteringly cold or windy like his home in the sky was.
plucking out his own worm with black claws the hound dropped it into the water, watching as it squirmed and sunk below before being snatched up by a fish. the fish didn't really take any notice of him and with pursed lips he answered clove, "..uh, i don't think so."
tossing a look over his shoulder, acknowledging aether's soft question he remained silent, choosing to ignore it. it was a mistake and those were embarrassing(right?), he didn't want to bother his clanmate by mentioning it. "what about you two?"

MIKHALITSYN K.A.
COE & DD
LAZY WARRIOR
— mikhalitsyn k. aurum // mike
— coven of elysia & dark dynasty // star seeker & member // interstaller, stargazer & titles
— male // he, him, his
— 20 months // ages on 10th // created 1/9/20
— npc x npc // no siblings
— no other relations
— single // not really looking // no crushes
— bisexual // very female leaning
— arctic/maned wolf hybrid [birth] - 100%
— mike is a simple hybrid wolf, standing around 4½ ft at the shoulders thanks to his long legs. he is known for his lanky limbs, oddly massive ears, long tail, and wild spiky white fur tinged with black at the nape of his neck and spine. mike's features are sharp and angular beneath his scruffy fur and his eyes are tired, dull, and half-lidded but a calming shade of cinnamon brown. beneath his mange of fur his spine is littered with an array of small and large scars alike. all in all, mike is a pretty average looking guy, in the middle of the road when it comes to being attractive.
mike, despite his outrageous height for a hybrid, is known for his sluggish way of walking and his constant slouched posture. he slumps his head and shuffles along, never quite always there, just sort of present.
— back is littered with small and large scars beneath fur
— lazy, blunt, sleepy, indifferent, cuddly, observant, flirtatious, laidback, careless, procrastinator, selfless, caring, protective, patient, blunt, disinterested, noncommittal
— naturally ice cold skin
— immune to most cold temperatures like naturally cold weather and his own ice elementals but susceptible to other's elemental abilities
— during battle may "grow" his canines with dense icicles to cause more damage - break easily but can be regrown quickly
— if overuses his powers uncontrollable ice spikes will grow beneath his fur and pierce the skin of his back causing minor wounds - size of icicles increases each time he pushes himself past his limit and causes deeper more dangerous wounds
— stands at around 4 1/2 ft tall at the shoulder, much taller than normal maned wolves that are about 3 ft - weighs about 164 lbs
— ears are about 7 inches, giant mofos
— doesn't know his own middle name, only knows it starts with the letter k
— can't swim so just freezes the water under his paws, has to move quickly though because it thaws and breaks
— hidden under the fur on his back are many small and large scars from icicles cutting through the skin when overworking his powers

it was a nice day out compared to most days in elysia. it wasn't as cold as usual, not that he noticed, nor was it as windy as usual. it was almost relaxing, it felt like the perfect time to take a nap. but that just meant finding the perfect spot, didn't it? he had a lot of napping spots, places he silently claimed as his own for the sole purpose of sleeping there. he couldn't possibly be bothering anyone by doing nothing, right?
hunkering down near the edge of the shimmering pond, his empty cinnamon brown gaze skimming the surface as it sparkled beneath the midday sunlight. it was pretty. it almost felt like something he'd never seen before cause he was usually asleep already around this time of day. it made him consider, for a split second, that he should start sleeping only during nighttime so he could see something as neat looking as this. no, that was stupid. his days were too boring to stay awake the whole time.
// desiderio ahh im sorry I really have no idea wtf this is?? lol

I'D LIKE TO BE AN AMBASSADOR!
Character Name: Mike
Group Desired: Wind Haven
-
right, welcoming committee was on his official job resume, wasn't it? well, no, not really. he didn't have a resume. but if he did have one he'd probably have to remember to tack that on, because he thought he did his job well. it was what he was doing now. staring blankly down at desirare who he was trying to figure out what to do with. she was new. so he was supposed to give her a tour or something, right? show her the sights? he wondered if desitare's girlfriend would've wanted to come, he wondered where she was. she seemed like better company than the one before him was. desirare here seemed pissy, short-fused, just a bit better than sear was.
brows lifting in faint uncertainty he began blandly, "so, desirare, right?"
// DESIRARE SOLER tadaah its a sad excuse for a beginner ;p
-
problematic didn't even begin to describe sear. he was like a scar, an obnoxious, obvious scar placed right in the middle of his face and it wouldn't heal even with all the time in the world. he wouldn't go away. that wasn't to say mike wanted the kid to leave. sear was fine, he was a clanmate, it wasn't like mike really had the capacity or fucks to give to hate the kid. he didn't hate anyone, he didn't think he could hate anyone. he just kind of got annoyed. and sear did that well. he didn't really care about the kid though. he didn't really wonder for more than a second why sear was such an annoying little prick aside from that time he'd wondered if he got enough attention from his parents. mike certainly hadn't and he turned out fine.
brows pulled together in a lazy excuse of a glare the towering hybrid simply sat, staring off the edge of the island with his head propped up on his paw. in hindsight maybe sitting so close to the edge wasn't such a good idea seeing as if said annoyance did show up he would probably try pushing mike right over the edge. not like he could though, right? sear was tiny compared to the star seeker.
