"Yeah. You and me. I feel the same way with you. Butterflies in my stomach." Swiftstar purred.

"So what do you think?" Blacktail saw a spark of hope at the look in her eyes.

"Dis you ever consider you and me as...... more than friends?" Swiftstar stared deep into his eyes.

Cool. So you can be a warrior until you find a mate. Or would you rather be expecting with no mate?

"Don't think of me as your leader. Think of me as just another she-cat." Swiftstar said in a seductive voice.

Blacktail walked into the forest. He looked behind him to see if Insanitycall was following.

Blacktail smiled at the sight of Insanitycall trotting along. He purred and nudged against her in a friendly, yet sort of romantic way.

Blacktail was stunned by her quick movements. It took him a moment to comprehend what happened, but then dashed after her. His extra long, muscular legs helped him catch up quickly. He strode in long leaps. "So long!" He pushed on faster. The faint trickle of water sent him even farther.

Blacktail laughed and pushed harder. He was about at the peak of his speed, when he felt something catch his foot. He went stumbling to a halt. Scratches covered him and foliage stuck in his fur.

"And you are a very handsome tom..." Swiftstar purred and rubbed against him.

"Swiftstrike." Swiftstar purred.

"Yeah. Thanks." Swiftstar lowered her voice in disappointment. 'Why is he not interested in me?' She thought to herself.

Swiftstar lifted her head to him and perked her ears. She saw him pad away, but couldn't let him go like that. She followed closely behind. "I'm in love with you, Brackenfall!"

"If I were to chew up some mouse, could I give her that? I know she can't eat it solid." Swiftstar offered.

"We need to get someone right away." Swiftstar was loosing her grip on control.
