I haven't made one of these in a WHILE I'm sorry if it's a little rough-
RAFAEL LYON
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Closeted Bisexual; if any attractive male looks at him he'll scream. don't test him.
Personality: Rafael's outward demeanor is relatively blunt and straightforward when you first get to meeting him. He doesn't react a lot, taking everything in with a tired, almost bored gaze. He does not upset easily, letting insults and demeaning remarks glance off his back with little problem. Everything is said in a monotone voice, every joke is dry and almost undetectable. He isn't necessarily unpleasant to be around, but he isn't the easiest to gauge.
--Even while he's direct, blunt and seemingly bored, Rafael is caring and kind, although he doesn't always do the best job of showing it. He likes helping people, although he doesn't always do the best job of doing it. He tries his best, or so he thinks.
--As he grows more comfortable around others, though, he allows himself to talk more freely. He smiles, he jokes, he even laughs from time to time. But, as he becomes more animated, he is also more prone to anger and irritation, finally being able to speak his mind and voice his concerns.
--Rafael is a natural worrier, despite his apathetic exterior. He overthinks consistently, so much so it could almost be considered a talent, and jumps to the worst conclusion possible whenever he's given the chance. From an outsiders perspective, he seems unbothered, but in reality? Hoes mad anxious.
History: Grew up in a rather large family, the small house filled to the brim with aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His family flocked together during hard times, lending each other supportive hands, encouraging words and pats on the back. But, despite the large, overflowing community, he always felt out of place; alienated, pushed to the side by his own siblings, fighting for purchase in the crowded home. Rafael accepted this, however, and allowed himself to be overcame. He loves his family, but isn't the closest with any of them, merely regarding them as people who raised him.
--Because of this, he finds trouble in relating himself to others, holding onto important relationships and connecting to others in general. He will not fight for anyone, he will not be the first to call, text or speak. Rafael is fine with being a background character, and keeps his place with a comfortable, although not totally happy, apathy.
