"Mmn... No, no thanks. I'll just.. lie here for a while..." She muttered, closing her eyes. The pain that radiated through her hind-leg was enough to make her nauseous. She sighed, trying to focus on something else to take her mind off of it. Luckily nothing felt off within her abdomen, so she felt safe enough to worry solely about the pain in her leg. She sucked in a breath as Naomi hurried over. "Ice and towels? Oh, please, I'm fine." She huffed, rolling over. As she moved to stand, the burning sensation shot up her nervous-system. Lola flinched before relaxing her muscles. It was probably wiser to stay put for now.
She lied her head back onto her paws, screwing her eyes shut. Her patients in the Veil complained about similar pains before, she could only assume what was wrong with her leg. She drew a stained breath from her lungs, opening her eyes to see Claret and Absalom. "Don't worry, little one.. I think I'm alright." She reassured, with a calm nod. Once Ace knelt near her, she grumbled. "How about some personal space?" Lola sighed, attempting to gently push him away. Her gaze quickly raised as she heard the blunt tone of her fiance.
His presence was somewhat comforting, able to ease her attention away from the pain and onto him. She relaxed at the gentle touch of his nose. "It's fine. I just landed on my leg wrong." Lola tried to assure, pushing herself to stand. The pressure shot through her leg, causing her to wince. She did her best to cover up the feeling on her face. With an inhale, she looked to Total and Petra. Oh no, not Petra. Well, at least she didn't know about her pregnancy. If that were the case then she'd never be able to leave the physician's den after a fall like this.
"Nothing too bad. Poppy fell. Nothing's hurt, right?" She asked, turning to see the hybrid girl. 'Don't rat me out....' Lola pleaded inwardly.
