CREEKPAW
Creekpaw's task last week had been a flop, to say the least. Limepaw had given him the duty of storytelling, which any cat that even slightly knew the apprentice could tell it wasn't a great idea. He didn't talk to others. But nonetheless, when Rosepaw announced that she would be giving out weekly tasks, the tomcat idly ambled over. His apprenticehood excited him to the point where although he didn't want much interaction with others, he would do it anyways, just to do something for ShadowClan. Sitting down, the brown tabby stared at the calico, making sure she knew to pay attention before raising his paw off the ground ever so slightly in a gesture much like saying 'I want one.'

Just as he was with last week's task, Creekpaw was not too thrilled with what Rosepaw had asked him to do. But she hadn't truly had any interaction with him before, and therefore there was no reason for her to be giving him such a menial task on purpose. Plastering on an expression much like Tansyface's, the brown tabby tom gave a small, forced smile at the older apprentice before spinning on his heel and trotting away. While he was in no way happy with his task, he would do it, if nothing more than to benefit his clan.

Flowerheart's feelings toward this tiny chick were alien to the new apprentice. She thought it was 'so adorable'and that it was 'too cute not to share!',but all the brown tabby saw was a possible meal. It wasn't often that prey would walk right up to you, and what better opportunity was there than to catch his first meal? While he did want to hunt the newborn hatchling, though, he wasn't stupid; Flowerheart was much more grown than himself, and she would probably protect the thing. So he settled on taking a seat much farther away from the ladies with a hungry look in his eye, following every movement that the small creature was making.

The tom had long since been awake when Honeytongue called for his name in the apprentice's den. Creekpaw was settling into a new routine, nerves from his ceremony still eating away at his stomach causing sleepless nights. He was wondering when the elder-turned-warrior would find him about having a training session, and had been slightly disappointed that it had taken such a long time for one to finally roll around (despite it only had been a few days since the boy had gotten his apprentice name). However, once he heard it called out in his den, he immediately rose to his paws and slyly walked towards the entrance to the den, slipping past the naked tom and continuing towards the camp entrance. "What took you so long?"

CREEKPAW
Not more than a few weeks ago, Creekpaw had been in the same boat as Coalkit. It would've been easy to empathize with the youngster had Creekpaw been the empathetic type, but he fully believed that since he lived out his kithood through his six month, so should everybody else. When Sorrelstar announced that Canarypaw, a girl who had been a month younger than him,his fur slightly bristled, as he didn't exactly think it fair she was allowed to be made an apprentice early. And now, watching the two brothers together from afar made him smile slightly, maliciously, almost, for the fact that they would remain kits until their half birthday, just as he had.

Over the course of the last couple weeks of his reemergence in ShadowClan, the tom had been attempting to become more active. There was really no reason behind this than other to prove his worth and loyalty to his clan, especially with his appointment to apprenticeship coming up (and have passed now). But another reason for his spike in activity was so he could earn the respect he desired from his clanmates. Both Sorrelstar and Briarthorn were well-respected within the clan, including some of the other active warriors like Tansyface and Hornetsting. And Creekpaw was certain that the reason they were respected was because everybody knew their faces.
And so he tried doing that. He tried going around and meeting new clanmates, or at least trying to associate a name with a face. But he was horrible at talking to others. That's why when Limepaw gave him the task of telling a story (which involved a lot of talking, mind you), and Rosepaw gave him a menial task of decorating the camp (he thought it was more apt for a kit), he gritted his teeth and sunk his claws into the dirt. But he still didthem. He hated doing it, but he wanted others to know who he was.
But now it was histurn to give out some tasks. He was rarely excitable, but ordering his clanmates to do what he wanted to and see them carry it out somehow made him. "Weekly tasks." Unlike usual, his voice was loud and stoic, signalling to other ShadowClanners that he was thereand that they should come to him should they want a task for that week. He wouldn't waste their time on storytellingor decorating camp;Creekpaw knew what needed to get done and would make sure that it did.

Creekpaw had attempted to give out some weekly tasks the previous week, but was not particularly successful in doing even something so easy like that. And now somebody else had stepped up to give them out for this week. Grinding his teeth, the brown tabby slowly made his way over towards Needlethroat, a cat whose name he didn't know, and a group of other clanmates whom he hadn't seen in a couple of days thanks to his newfound laziness. He was wondering where it came from; only a few weeks ago, he had been ecstatic to receive his apprentice name, and thought he could finally dosomething useful for ShadowClan. But he fell right back into the rut of sleeping all day. Creekpaw really had to get after himself for that.
So, even though the young apprentice did not know the warrior, and though he didn't like approaching new cats, he boldly walked over and stared Needlethroat down. "I'll take something." He said; not boldly nor shyly. I need to make myself known,an afterthought to his short speech.

CREEKPAW
It had been difficult for Creekpaw to settle into his apprentice life. It had been almost a monthsince he'd been appointed — that was absolutely insane— but that didn't mean it hadn't been difficult for the boy. He thought that becoming an apprentice would give him more freedom and a purpose in life, but lo and behold, it was sosimilar to when he was a kit. It was the repetition that drove him off the walls. The constant training to hunt and fight. He just wanted to have his own schedule and do what he wanted to. But life wasn't like that.
Instead, the brown tabby would settle into more routine, as not long ago he approached a feline whom he had never encountered for a weekly task. The one bestowed upon him would be somewhat useful for the clan, actually, and while Creekpaw wasn't necessarily excited to do the task itself, he was eager for it to getdone. Cleaning the freshkill pile would benefit ShadowClan and he was... slightly pleased by that fact. Even though he didn't like being an apprentice any more than being a kit, Creekpaw still had an unquestionable amount of loyalty towards his clan and was happy anytime he could help out. So the brown tabby slowly made his way towards the pile and began picking through it, tossing the rotten carcasses aside. He hoped someone would come over an help him — this was going to take forever.
