Arthur forced himself to turn his head and look away and he stared at the bathroom wall. He was just hoping that this would pass soon and Alexander would be feeling much better. Arthur nibbled on his lower lip, chewing on it as he was waiting for Alexander to finish vomiting into the toilet. He was still shaking and it showed just how worried he was. Arthur wanted to spend the night in the guest room with Alexander, but he was having second thoughts about it as be wanted to leave Alexander alone and let him rest up.

Arthur somewhat relaxed when Alexander was done. "Love you too, try to sleep well." He murmured to his fiancé and he left the bathroom to go back to the bedroom that he was sleeping in. He turned off the lights in the guest room before gently closing the door for Alexander. He crawled back into bed and he put Clementine on the bed with him. He got comfortable and he managed to finally fall asleep.

The next morning, Arthur awoke and he slid out of bed and he went to grab the thermometer before heading towards the guest room to check up on Alexander, hoping that he felt better. He tottered over to the guest room before hesitantly opening the door and he entered the room, closing the door behind him.

Alexander noticed how bad it smelt but he tried his best to ignore it. He felt terrible when he saw just how bad Alexander looked. "Alexander..." He spoke calmly as he slowly approached his fiancé. He got down on his knees whilst holding the thermometer. "Come on, I need to take your temperature." He said as he gestured for Alexander to open his mouth. Arthur then slipped in the thermometer and he waited. Arthur pulled the thermometer out and he looked at it. "Well, your fever is only a hundred this time..." He spoke as he looked at Alexander. "I'm going to bring you some water alright?" Arthur stood up and he quickly left the room before coming back with a glass of water. "Alright you need to take small sips okay? If you just take large sips then you're just going to regurgitate the water back up." Arthur explained.

Arthur carefully held the glass of water for Alexander, letting his fiancé slowly sip the water. "Are you feeling worse than yesterday?" He asked as he sat on his knees. "I had a bit of a hard time sleeping but I did manage to finally fall asleep." He shrugged as he looked down. "I just want to know what you're sick with... it's making me so worried." Arthur mumbled as his voice cracked a little. "It's.... It's not pneumonia again now is it?" Arthur asked rather hesitantly as he looked up at Alexander. Arthur stayed quiet briefly as he chewed on his lower lip, trying to keep himself calm and composed in front of Alexander.

"Yeah, your clothes really did help me fall asleep." Arthur admitted with a small blush on his cheeks. "But are you sure you should go to the doctor? Maybe I can take you." He said, relaxing when told that if was probably not pneumonia. Arthur sat up and he started to stand up as he was helping Alexander up to his feet. "I'll make sure you get some flu medicine... maybe it's just a really bad case of the flu." Arthur spoke as he remained calm and composed. He had a firm grip on his fiancé as he helped him up, making sure he didn't slump or fall down.

Arthur strained a smile on his face though the smile was quickly fading away from his face. "I know how it can get... and it worries me every time." He spoke as he turned his head to look at Alexander. He helped Alexander out of the room, quickly closing the door and he was making his way to the front door. "Besides, how in the hell did you even get sick? You were fine yesterday morning right?" Arthur inquired as he walked to the front door whilst hoping it was just a bad strain of the flu virus. Still clinging to Alexander, he opened the front door and he stepped outside with Alexander and he closed and locked the door.

Arthur felt his heart sink in his chest. "You're not going to die just because of something like this." He spoke. Arthur wanted to optimistic and positive about the whole thing as he hoped Alexander would get better soon. "We will get you that medicine and it'll help you." Arthur sounded a bit snappy but he just wanted Alexander to be okay that was all. "May be you caught something earlier on and it's just now taking effect." Arthur spoke as he chewed on his lower lip. He got to the car and he opened the front passenger door, helping Alexander get in before closing the door and he moved to goto the driver side door.

Arthur heaved a heavy sigh. He didn’t mean to snap, he just felt stressed, anxious, and nervous about all this. He sat in the seat, buckling up his seatbelt as he fidgeted with the car keys. “You’re going to be fine.” He said, voice cracking as he briefly wiped his eyes to prevent himself from crying. “I don’t know what I would do without you.” He muttered softly as he put the key in and he gripped the steering wheel, not moving until he had stopped shaking. Then he started to drive Alexander to the doctor, staying particularly quiet for most of the ride to the doctor.

“I know.” Arthur murmured as he drove to the doctor, almost going over the speed limit but he kept the speed of the car under the speed limit. “T-This is just making me stressed.” He mumbled as he kept his eyes on the road. Once they got there, he put the in park before stopping the car and he unbuckled his seatbelt. Arthur got out of the car and he closed the door before walking over to Alexander to help him. “It’s fine. Im just anxious and stressed about it.” Arthur spoke, clinging to Alexander as he helped him inside so that he wouldn't fall or stumble.

Arthur looked at Alexander, trying to strain on a smile but it came out small and crooked. He was actually quite relieved when his suspicion of Alexander having a bad strain of the flu was confirmed. And he was grateful when the doctor wrote out a prescription for some medication. Arthur knew he was going to have to check up on Alexander ever so often and give him some water and the medication. Arthur was hopeful that this would help Alexander get better soon. He reached and he grabbed the prescription, looking it over throughly. “Thank you.” He murmured to the doctor before he looked at Alexander, holding the prescriprion firmly in his grasp.

Arthur looked up at Alexander. “The medicine is going to make you feel better. But you know that you’re going to have to stay hydrated.” He reminded as he was going to help Alexander so they could go to the pharmacy. “I’m just glad it’s the flu and not something serious.” Arthur said softly as he looked at his fiancé. “When we get to the pharmacy, do you want to wait in the car while I get the medicine?” He asked wanting to make sure. “I miss cuddling with you and I miss kissing you.” Arthur told him. “But Your clothes help me fall asleep.” He added.

“I know and I hate seeing you sick too.” Arthur murmured as he helped Alexander outside and back to the car. He went over to the front passenger seat before opening the car door and he helped Alexander inside. Arthur closed the door and he made his way over to the driver side door before he got inside, shutting the door and buckling his seatbelt. “Alright but try to remember to take small sips from the water bottle okay? I don’t need you regurgitating inside the car.” He spoke. Arthur then managed to smile. “Will you be able to take a shower? You’re not going to faint in the shower are you?” He asked as he started driving to the pharmacy. “Well, I might just hog some of your clothes we myself.”

“I know that.” Arthur murmured softly. He wanted Alexander to get better soon so he wouldn’t be so worried about Alexander getting even sicker. “Good because I don’t need any vomit in the car any time soon.” He said, shrugging his shoulders as he kept his eyes glued to the road. Then he felt a rather small blush come onto his face at what Alexander had said to him. “I mean... I wouldn’t mind helping you at all.” Arthur said with a heated blush. He slightly leaned back in the seat as they reached the pharmacy. “Wow, You’ve really don’t mind If I hog your clothes?” He asked ask he stopped the car.

“As long as you hold it in then we will be fine.” Arthur spoke casually with a calm tone as he seemed more relaxed now. He looked down when Alexander grabbed his hand and he looked back up at Alexander. “You’re welcome.” He murmured softly as he didn’t move just yet but he unbuckled his seatbelt. After a few moments he let go of Alexander’s hand. “I know you want to make me happy.” Arthur spoke softly as he reached to open the car door. “I’ll be right back just hang in there.” Arthur got out of the car, leaving the air conditioner before closing the door and he went inside the pharmacy to get the medicine and a bottle of water. Arthur came out around seven minutes later with the medicine and a bottle of water for Alexander.
