    appearance

    reference

A large Norwegian Forest cat with a predominately gray and silver shaded pelt. Splotches of a darker hued gray almost mimic thick-blurred stripes that stretch vertically from the base of his neck to the tip of his fluffy tail. His chest is a very faint silver, almost white, that blends into a shadowed gray. Cloudjumper's face is often deceivingly stoic for such a kind warrior and tufts of whiter fur sprout from the sides of his cheeks. Triangular ears curve from the top of his head and are often flicking with thought. Although a fluffy pelted cat his body beneath is not the least bit small and he often towers over most of the other felines he encounters. His eyes are a very faint green, almost gray, that pairs well with his cool toned pelt. (wip)

    personality

Honorable and completely selfless, Cloudjumper is willing to lay down his life for anyone that he loves and it is extremely easy to become a part of his protective circle. His main focus throughout his life will always be his family, consistently putting them first through thick and thin. (wip)

WHEN YOU LIGHT UP MY MOON FROM JULY UNTIL JUNE

    Story

The story starts off with two kittypets, who were madly in love, gave birth to a lovely litter of kittens. Unfortunately the mother died during the childbirth and Cloud was left alone to raise them. A little over two months later the owners started to bring unfamiliar humans around to play with the kits and soon enough one was abruptly taken away. Hearing rumors from other kittypets that twolegs often did send away whole litters, the desperate father planned their escape. One day, while the owners were out of the house, he picked up one kit by one kit and slipped them out of an ajar window. Knowing that he didn't want to raise his kits out in the wild as loners, he made the decision to bring them to a clan.

    Plotting

Hey everyone! I'm looking to adopt out Cloud's kittens. Depending on the amount of interest I was thinking to have about 1-3 kits. The family will move to DarkClan and once the kits are chosen then I will make their joining thread. Please keep them active and remain in DarkClan until they are at least 6 months old. Their starting age will be 3 moons.

    Genetics

Both parents are Norwegian Forest Cats. Cloud is a silver tabby with white. His eyes are a very faint green that appear almost grey. Their mother, Rosemary, was a cinnamon tabby with white and gold-green eyes.

For the kits: Kittens can be shorthaired or longhaired. Toms can be black, silver, or cinnamon. Mollies can be black, silver, or cinnamon. Kittens can be classic tabby or solid. Kittens can be silver/smoke. Kittens can have any amount of white spotting. i am pretty lenient on this.

    Slots

    1. Buttercup - female - sold to a different twoleg family - can be mentioned/referenced in future threads

    2. Frost - male - dalarna

    3. Frigid - male - Gooey

    4. Snow - female - site married to zock

    Form

Form is a free for all! This will most likely be an auto-acceptance, however I'd like to get to know the personalities of the kittens. There is no naming theme but keep in mind they will probably have to transition into clan names shortly after joining DarkClan. Bonus points if the name has to do with nature since both Cloud and Rosemary are "nature" names <3

dalarna Frost seems like such a cutie! Accepted and I'll add him up. Can't wait to see how his rebellious streak plays out as Cloud will most likely freak

Gooey Ooh really interested to see Frigid! I know your form isn't finished but you're accepted! The only thing is for the reference image I'm not sure if that's a Norwegian Forest Cat? correct me if i'm wrong of course <3

The mountains were no place for kits. It was becoming alarmingly apparent to him. But what else could he do? His children needed a home, a home that wasn't a makeshift den out of a hollowed tree or an abandoned badger's nest that still stank of the creature. There were other clans closer to where they had come from but being so near to the place that had taken away one of his kits would never be suitable. Even now, after being days away from their twoleg home, he still feared that his owners would somehow appear behind them, angry and vengeful. The large cat cast a glance over his shoulder once that thought crossed his mind and shuddered before turning his gaze back onto the kits that were walking in front of him. At the sight of his remaining children he felt a pierce of warmth, knowing at the very least that they were safe right now. Safe under his watchful eye. He'd turned his back on one of them once and in a matter of seconds she had been ripped away from them. I'll never turn my back again. Cloud silently vowed and as much as it hurt to think of his taken daughter he had to shove that away in order to focus forward.

"Are you kids alright?" He asked gently, after increasing his pace so that he was nearly right behind them. He was sure that this DarkClan place would be coming up soon, they couldn't be that far up after all. Or at least that was what he hoped. His nose sniffed the air a few times but all he could breathe in was the unfamiliar scent of the mountainous terrain. Maybe something else. His mate had been the one who was always drawn to the outdoors and if she were...Here. Then perhaps she'd do a better job at guiding them. He felt like a hopeless fish out of the water. constantly questioning if this was the right thing to do or if he was being foolish. Frigid, Frost, and Snow. They all needed safety and had he just wrenched them away from that forever? No.He told himself sternly. This is for the best. He had been repeating that phrase like a mantra in his head ever time doubts started to arise.

//please wait until dalarna , Gooey , and site married to zock reply! <3

YOU TOLD ME I WAS LIKE THE DEAD SEA && ex-kittypet & tags

A proud smile formed on the tomcat's face at his son's words, making sure that not a single hint of his hidden concerns would show through. "Yes we will. They'll surely welcome us warmly and you'll have a nice place to sleep. And food in your belly so you can grow up to be a big strong warrior." The word 'warrior' felt funny on his tongue and he stared down at his child's youthful face, wondering how he would grow. It was quite the different path that he was forcing upon his family. He leaned down to touch noses with Frost's own twitching one before the fluffy tomcat purred loudly at his daughter's outburst.

"We'll be there soon, I promise." Cloud stated firmly after he had frozen in place as Snow wormed her way through his paws, careful not to accidentally step on her. She was surely a pawful, both literally and figuratively now. Although his gray-green eyes darkened at the sight of the tiny droplets of blood from her paws, his heart was warmed by her enthusiasm. Traveling with her had been exhausting but a blessing nonetheless, he was glad that she was taking the journey so well. Her curiosity was endearingly endless. As they continued walking he felt her brush against his leg and he peered down, a question forming in his mouth until her next words made him clamp his jaws shut.

A hard shard of pain made his pulse freeze and a hushed sigh escaped him. "She's with her new twoleg family now." Cloud replied soothingly and his eyes flashed with images of his daughter being scooped up by unfamiliar arms and trampled out of the door. He visibly winced as he replayed the sounds of her helpless cries and the rumbling of the monster that had raced away from her. A lump formed in his dry throat but he quickly cleared it out and brushed his fluffy tail tip over his remaining daughter's back. "Buttercup is safe and happy there, and she'd want the same for us." He didn't want to say that they could have never found her, that searching for her would have been fruitless. That staying too close to their twoleg home was dangerous. He didn't want to think about how alone she was feeling or the way her eyes used to blink up at him softly, looking like a mini-version of her late mother. Or how he had failed her. He should have left the moment their owners started bringing strangers into the home, handling the kits and fawning over them.

"Now I think we're at the border, so we all need to be as polite as possible when the clan cats come, okay?" A change of topic made it able to start breathing again and he settled down at what he thought looked, and smelled, like a border. He protectively drew in his three kits close to him, knowing that the chances of them being attacked were slim but there was still a tiny opportunity...Who could be so heartless to harm kits though?

//thank you all for the welcomes! all of your characters look like they're going to be amazing to roleplay with

His gaze was at first very hard-glinted when it focused onto the first clan cat to arrive, clearly eyeing the stranger up and down for any sign of hostility. But, once the large feline noticed how non-threatening Sweets was his demeanor instantly switched to relived kindness. He blinked back at the first she-cat to arrive, watching as another feline appeared and then another. How many are there? The ex-kittypet pondered and in the back of his head was the nagging thought that they were seriously outnumbered. His defensive side was trying to rear its head but he was managing well to keep it squished down, only showing the feeling in the way his shoulders were still stiff with wary.

Bemusement crossed over him as he watched his son interact with the moss ball and he resisted the urge to bend down and nuzzle the kit once he had scurried back towards him. Frost had beaten him to speaking the first words and he twitched his white whiskers at his brave but nervous kitten, glad that he wasn't completely terrified. "Thank you." He meowed graciously towards Iristorm but for now he wouldn't drink. "My name is Cloud and these are my children." His berry colored nose would gently tap each kit on their head respectively as he spoke their names, "Frost, as you've met. Snow. And Frigid." Pride seethed in his words, as it always did when the father spoke of his children, and he straightened up his momentarily hunched back. "We're traveling from what I believe you call the twolegplae? We are...Well we were kittypets." What were they now? Homeless wanderers perhaps.

"I'd like to request for my family to join your clan." Cloud stated, his words coming out more confident than he felt and he found himself shifting his weight from one side to the other, trying not to think about what his next move would be if they were turned away.

    frost is adorable.

Just thought having a thread with the fam would be helpful and a good way to chat about some potential plots! I also wanted to mention that aging your kits is completely between you guys; whether or not you want to time skip them or age them realistically or a mixture of both

And if you guys want a family thread or a one-on-one thread with Cloud then of course let me know!

    Gooey   dalarna   snowkit-

Also if you guys want to post around with your kits in DarkClan then go right ahead, don't wait for me!

And that's alright Tig, I completely understand. I've been really busy myself lately <3

She left that very day with her son and traveled to one of the furthest clans from BloodClan; DarkClan. Knowing that the BloodClan father would most likely not recognize his son that he hadn't seen from infancy but would instantly recognize her, she made the choice to leave Fox alone inside of DarkClan's territory. He was three moons upon his arrival and has currently been a DarkClan kit for two moons.

"How much further Mama?" He was a stark contrast to the mellow shades of green that surrounded him, his reddish fur a bright splotch against the mossy floor beneath his paws. It felt so comfy. So comfy in fact that he just couldn't bring himself to walk anymore and the teeter-tottering kitten plopped downwards with a sniffle. His black nose was wet and dewy with snot and even his lively personality had been dimmed down to a low simmer as of late. He heard his Mother sigh up ahead, her paws retracing themselves to swallow up the strides that she had kept making even after he had stopped. It was clear that she wanted to keep moving but once her agitated eyes rested onto her exhausted son she melted into a soft tenderness. "We can stop here and rest for a bit." She meowed softly, carefully hiding the choking sound that was forming in the back of her throat. Had he been older then Fox might have noticed the feelings she was trying to squash down but her reassuring smile was enough for him. He sleepily mumbled incoherent happy murmurs, snuggling into the faded green moss. He felt his Mom lay close beside him, her warmth making him feel a cheerful glow burst in his chest. He wasn't sure why they were here, or what they were doing, but he was sure everything would be alright.

When he awoke there was no warmth. "Mama?" Fox questioned, still rubbing his groggy gold eyes with one of his black tipped paws. Of course the child felt an instant strike of alarm rush through him but in his head he knew that she was probably around somewhere. He just had to find her. Maybe it was a game? She did know how much he loved those! "I'm gonna find yah!" He piped and scrambled his way onto the forest floor, almost falling onto his muzzle as he did so. With each passing second that he didn't find his parent his little heart started to beat faster and faster. She's here. Don't be silly. But his calls remained unanswered and no matter how hard he tried his nose couldn't catch a whiff of her lovely homely scent. "Mama?" His voice was now tinted with stark fear, as the sun was starting to dip below the skyline and nightfall was creeping its way over the lit lands. Darkness had never scared him until now. "Mama! With a voice now shouting as loud as his tiny lungs could manage the abandoned kit quickened his pace. In doing so the unfocused Somali tripped over a stubbornly planted root, this time crashing hard down on his snout. Another sniffle escaped him, although this one not caused by his cold, and in defeat he curled up while fighting back confused tears. Where had she gone? Why did she leave him?

I GUESS THAT SOMETIMES GOOD THINGS FALL APART && orphan & tags

Being nestled all by himself was bringing such a force of loneliness that the orange kit thought he wouldn't be able to breathe. Or maybe it was because of the force he was trying to take to not completely sob out into the strange world that surrounded him. He'd always been such a sociable creature but today there were fragile matter sin his little heart, so when a stranger approached him and crouched down low and close he let out a yelp of surprise. His ears that were too big for his head flattened against his fuzzy head as he scooted backwards, his wild eyes taking in the sight of the apprentice. He almost couldn't hear her words over the sound of his thumping heart but despite this he stood up on shaky legs, lifting his head towards the breeze. "I-I'm Fox. I don't know where I came from...It was loud and there were a lot of twolegs and monsters and it smelled so bad." He wrinkled his black nose at the remembrance of the harsh smell of the city and once again let out a loud sniff. "My Mama should be back soon." Although his voice cracked in the middle of his words he did his best to appear confident. Tinypaw could be wanting to eat him or something but she seemed much nicer than the cats he used to be around. Less scary looking.

Spiky fur crawled across his back as yet another unfamiliar approached them and he whipped his head around, hoping that his Mother would make a surprise appearance. DarkClan? What a weird name. His jaws parted to ask what it was but the mention of food distracted him, his stomach immediately growling as he remembered that his last meal had been incredibly early today. Nodding eagerly he piped, "That sounds good! She can't be too far." He hoped that hinting that she was close would deter them from making any moves and therefore would be repeating it quite a lot. Even if he didn't know who any of them were he was feeling slightly better about not being alone. Especially once the kindly older cat actually brought him some food. "Thanks!" Fox squeaked, trying not to get choked up again. All these distractions were nice to rid his mind about the horrid thought that his Mother had left.

The Somali kitten started to dig into the prey, his gold eyes still flickering from the two that still remained. He mentally decided that he liked Pigeoncheek the most, the tomcat seemed to radiate warmth. A hiccup escaped him after he gulped down most of the mouse, his heartbeat finally slowing to a steady rhythm. "What's DarkClan?" Fox ventured, his curiosity finally getting the better of him.

    //ahh late reply!

Hi! I love Pigeoncheek already and you have such a cool/unique name for him! I'd be super happy to have Pidge be a fatherly figure since Fox has never really had one. I did do a small time-jump for him, making it so he joined when he was three moons and now he's five but of course he'll still need to learn a lot about clan life, especially since he's such a rulebreaker. Would you like a thread between them? <3

I GUESS THAT SOMETIMES GOOD THINGS FALL APART && orphan & tags

Foxkit always had a gift of observance, a second sense so to speak for knowing when rules were being broken. It was probably because he was so good at it himself. He was drawn to Viper's movements with an invisible magnetic force, his gold eyes practically glistening with anticipation to see if his fellow kit would get away with it. His lungs expanded as he sucked in a breath, watching as the tabby got closer and closer to the camp's entrance. His russet paws itched to join him but somehow he managed to not move a muscle, fearing that it would draw too much attention if two kits were to sneak out. Maybe he'd follow after.

Then Fawnkit came out of nowhere and ruined everything. He sighed loudly. She was like a silent storm, barreling in and disrupting the quiet of the art of sneakiness. Oh well, he gave his pelt a good ruffle before deciding that the jig was partly up and it wouldn't matter if he came bounding over on clumsy paws. "I think he's just practicing his stealth moves for battle training. No funny business here!" Foxkit puffed cheekily after he came skidding to a halt near the pair. He chewed the inside of his cheek out of habit, his mischievous eyes momentarily sliding to thoughtful slits. Maybe he could cause a big enough distraction for Viper to sneak out. Or convince Fawnkit it was all good, or...His inner monologue trailed off as he couldn't help but notice Oakridge's stare. Rats! He wished the whole clan wasn't as nosy as he was.

//um i dunno about you but i think it's law that these two should become best friends forever with matching bff bracelets and everything. darkclan watch out.

I GUESS THAT SOMETIMES GOOD THINGS FALL APART && orphan & tags

'Give me one too!" Foxkit piped after he came barreling after Viper. He liked his fellow kit and equally shared in the delight of having a distraction. Being cooped up all day inside of camp was so boring.
