At Laureat's voice, Hya dashed off. He had to find Soliel. He couldn't do anything else to help. He wished now more than ever that he had some medical knowledge, some way to assist in situations like this.

Finally reaching the camp, after what seemed to be a much longer time than the amount that had actually passed, he began calling out. "Soliel! Please, we need your help!" He was scared. He hated this feeling of helplessness. He could still smell the stench of blood, and it made him feel sick. The boy looked around urgently.

Hyacinth heard the stranger and came to investigate. He saw blood. A lot of blood. "Are... are you okay?"[/b] The boy was hesitant to talk to the stranger, but he seemed to be in a dire situation. "Help! I think we need help!" The dilute calico called a desperate plea. "Speak to me, please, stay with me" Hyacinth arrived at the larger creature's side, and spoke softly. He was shocked at the amount of blood. It was everywhere. He visibly shook. He wasn't aware of whether the other had taken his last breath, the boy was simply in a panic. Tears began to well up as he prodded gently at the stranger. Hyacinth was scared.

Hyacinth dashed over with urgency as soon as he spotted something happening. He didn't want to get involved but felt he had to. "Please, don't argue. This doesn't need to be a fight. Is there anything I can do to help?" The anxiety and... fear was palpable in his little voice. He didn't want to be here. He looked at Laureat with wide, mismatched eyes, full of concern. "Please, please just let us help you."

The young calico didn't know what else to do or say. He had never seen this side of Laureat before. He was usually so seemingly calm and kind to Hyacinth, the boy was suddenly afraid it had been a lie. The energy of the whole situation made his stomach churn. It was overwhelming.

"Hmm..." Hyacinth spoke a bit absentmindedly as he soaked in the energies around him. "You make it sound almost as though you don't have companionship..." There was no real intent behind his soft words. The dilute calico was being unsually truthful. He just couldn't believe Laureat felt the same way he did. Without friends. Without any true bonds to speak of, outside of those related by blood. He gazed around at the beautiful array of coloured plumage, still wondering if it was possible to find an avian match for himself. He found himself missing his sister quite terribly. Wondering what she was doing. The boy felt a deep pang of saddness.

Hya spotted the two as he wandered aimlessly about, and decided to head over and see the birds with them. He had thought about the Flights tradition of keeping a bird companion, but he feated no avian would ever warm up to him like that. "I wonder what it's like... You know, to have a bird like that." He spoke more to himself than to the others. He hadn't see Laureat with a bird of his own, but the boy was still curious to hear his response to Soliel. The calico lay his slender frame right nearby the flock, allowing them to step across him as they saw fit. He gave a gentle smile at the collection of different feathered creatures.

Hyacinth felt dizzy from all the sights, sounds, and scents bombarding him, immediately after he arrived. He threw out short, polite greetings as often as he could manage, but he already wished he had opted out of such a busy event. He was sure this 'Ver Million' deserved a wondrous party, but his anxiety was currently at an all-time high. The young male calico desperately scanned over the crowd for familiar faces from The Flights. He spotted kira , and wondered if the blond would mind his quiet company. He padded over carefully, avoiding accidentally bumping into anyone. "Hey um... would you mind if I sat with you?" The youth's voice was nearly trembling. He hoped he could stay relatively invisible amongst the crowd.

Hya gave a gentle and genuine smile to Laureat, before getting to work moving rocks. Sure, he wasn't big enough to do much heavy lifting. After all, he had quite a slender build, but any little bit of work would probably help, right? When Soleil approached, he felt a slight twinge of.... excitement? He quietly appreciated her company. He gave a small nod in her direction. "I'd certainly appreciate all the help we can get. Thank you."

As he worked, the boy thought up possible conversation-starters. He enjoyed the relative silence, but he should probably try to push himself more if he wanted to deserve this place as his home. "How have things been going for you two? Any um.. any news?" There was a slight waver in his voice, but he felt a little proud of himself nonetheless. Hyacinth had never been one to start conversations.

"Hello, Bakalaureat." The calico spoke in his usual soft voice. He had been interested in seeing what the larger feline was up to. It seemed he was making defenses. A smart move.Hyacinth padded over carefully, eyeing the work that had been done so far.

He had grown rather fond of Laureat, and didn't entirely mind being around him. Maybe this could be fun. "May I do something to help?" He agreed with the idea that defending their home should be a high priority. You could never know when someone with ill-intentions might show up. It was also a nice chance to keep busy.

A small but genuine grin spread across Hya's face at the words of the older male. He felt slightly honoured at the opportunity. The dilute calico began to stretch out, readying his muscles for the exercise. "Are... are you ready? How should I begin?" He was still nervous. Scared to embarrass himself in front of the others. He looked up again, meeting Laureat's eyes with obvious anxiety mixed with excitement. "I've never really... sparred before." His soft voice looked for guidance. Hyacinth was certainly eccentric, but not a fighter. He was willing to learn though, if it meant he could better protect those he cared for. "Are you two ready?" He spoke, turning to Lovescars and Nadia. He wasn't sure of the etiquette for sparring practice.

Hyacinth wasn't about to pass up the offered food, the scent was far too tempting. "I would love some, thank you." The dilute calico gave a soft smile. He looked around at his leader's interesting collection. "Would you mind if I take a closer look at some of these things? You have a fascinating assortment of items." There were many things here that he had never seen before, and he had to admit he was a tad curious. He turned to Soleil. "Are you alright? Miss Lovescars sure does have a lot of cool stuff, doesn't she? Are you going to eat as well?"

'Cinth figured he didn't have anything else to do at the moment. He made his way over and sat in front of Bakalaureat, looking up at him with slightly curious eyes. "I figure we need to wait for others to arrive, correct? Would you mind explaning how this works, please?" There was clear nervousness in his quiet voice. He wanted to learn as much as he could to defend himself, or rather defend his twin, so it was hard to pass up opportunities such as this. Yet, he hated putting himself in such open social situations. His nerves turned him into such an awkward mess. Surely though, this kind of activity wouldn't require much talking. Hyacinth sighed lightly.

Hya figured it would be polite to attended the Crowned Eagle's housewarming. He made his way gracefully toward the high place where her new abode was located. He walked in, and took in the sight of the many weapons on display. He had brought a flower as a housewarming gift, and took it out of his small satchel to present to Lovescars. "Congratulations on your new home. I brought you this." The boy presented her with a lovely orchid. He had found it earlier and believed it possessed a good energy. Hopefully it would bring her luck. "Your home looks lovely." It really did, and he wondered if he should add more personality to his own home. Sure, his sister had taken to decorating their shared space with her own touches, but you could hardly tell that Hyacinth lived there too. He still wasn't used to calling a place his home.

Hyacinth listened carefully to the news, looking to nod to the recent joiners, and quietly contemplating the future of his new found home. He was definitely happy to see things more active around here, even if his anxieties made things difficult to participate in. When Soleil was awarded the promotion, he smiled softly as he watched her leave the spot next to him, whispering, "Congratulations." He believed she had a pretty good energy about her, and she definitely deserved the position.

Hyacinth was surprised at how early he seemed to have arrived. He sat and stared up at the leader of the Flights, calmly waiting for others to arrive, so that she could speak further.

Hya danced lightly toward the delicious smell. It was unlike the scents of food he was used to, and curiosity got the best of him. At the source he found a few familiar faces surrounding several plates of colourful treats. He had a look of wonder all over him. He couldn't recall ever seeing something like this before. The boy looked up to Soleil, wide, mis-matched eyes giving a slight pleading stare. "Um... could I possibly have one? I've never tried one of these before." He marveled at the little wonders that having a home like this could bring. His gaze fell upon a cupcake decorated with green, and he felt a warmth in his chest. It reminded him of his sister's eyes. Perhaps he could bring one to her.

Hyacinth stepped foward at the call. He didn't want a confrontation to occur. "Soliel helped me, so I think we should just leave the matter at that. I would like some medical training, and I think a group lesson could help all of us learn something, if you'd please." His voice was soft and beatiful, yet slightly nervous. He had appreciated the help Soliel had given him, despite not knowing him. He didn't want her to be treated poorly for it. But surely learning these things together couldn't hurt anyone, right? He wanted the knowledge quite badly in fact. He never wanted an incident like that to occur again, and someday having medical knowledge could help him save his sister.

Hya felt a jolt of fear at first. In his current state, he couldn't sense the energy of the stranger offering him aid. He couldn't be certain of any true intentions. This made him stiffen a little. But when the familiar scent of Bakalaureat arrived, he calmed slightly. Hyacinth had some small shred of trust towards him, and met the older male's eyes before accepting the offered remedy. Soleil had been correct, and he soon found himself unable to hold back the sick feeling. How utterly embarrassing. Even in this awful position, he couldn't help but find himself frustrated and confused. Why did the energies not warn him that the plant was poisonous? They had never failed him before. How could this happen? He couldn't think clearly. The boy felt horrible, and he wanted to rest. "I think I need to lay down, please." He was, in this moment, defeated.

'Cinth didn't recognize this strange plant he had come across on his search. That excited him. He checked it over carefully, and couldn't recall it as being any of the particularly dangerous ones he knew of. What's the worst that could happen, right? He had to test the plant out to get a sense for it's energies, after all. The youth analyzed it for some time, before finally deciding to attempt to eat a leaf. It made his tongue feel strange, but it seemed to possess no useful energies. Thus, Hyacinth continued on his hunt for a short while. Then it happened. The calico began to feel incredibly nauseated, and dizzy, too. This was troubling. He would have to cut his excursion short today. That plant might have been bad news, after all. He made his way back, but the sickness became worse as he did. Hyacinth became slightly panicked at this, and when he arrived home, he knew he had to ask for help. "Excuse me?" He raised his voice to the best of his abilities. "Does anyone here have... any medical training? I think I might need assistance." The nausea was much worse at this point, and he felt as though he couldn't stand for much longer. He wobbled slightly in place, focusing on not losing his earlier meal.
