    Elliott Alden~

"Rose," Elle said softly, almost to herself, turning the word over in her mouth. "A lovely name. And of course, you can call me Elle; there's no need for any honorifics." Elliott stepped forward so she was walking alongside Rose.

She couldn't help but let a worried expression cross her face for a moment at the question; The question Elliott didn't know the answer to, at least entirely. "Well," she said as she pulled her smile back on, "the prince hasn't given an answer yet. But he seems to be considering it; That's better than he's done for many of the other women, I'm told." She giggled at the predicament. It was almost comedic.

The second question surprised Elle, at least a bit. She turned to look at Rose with a smirk, ignoring the blush on her own face as she gazed at her. "There's plenty of reasons for that. You're far prettier than that knight back there, for one thing," she said with a laugh, "and women have always been better at conversation. Perhaps we could even be friends. I need a familiar face here, and I would be more than happy for that to be you, Rose."

The kingdom of Gilhold faces many beasts; The horrors of war, the corruption of kings, the coldness of greed.

    And, of course, the dragon.

No one knows much about the dragon, really. Only that she came to the kingdom a decade ago and struck fear into the king's heart. She took her share of gold and stole away her own corner of his kingdom, burning up every man who dared come near. Or so the stories say.

Perhaps it is foolish, to ever trust a dragon. But the princess of Gilhold is tired of the beasts of her kingdom, tired of her family, tired of the war. And so she has chosen the lesser beast, and walked away from her people.

Right into the den of the dragon.

    The ad read as such:

Young witch seeking covenmates and roommates. Any magic users welcome. Recently came into a home of my own (don't ask) that has many openings for rooms and is only *mildly* haunted. Respond below for details!!!

It seemed crazy, to think there was another witch like you out there, simply offering up a residence. Too good to be true. But life as a witch, a true magic user--one who can manipulate the world around them--isn't exactly easy. Mundane people are often frightened by that which they don't understand. And certainly, they cast out the supernatural.

Witches, in the modern world, need to stick together and protect themselves from those who fear them. To find others like them who they can learn and grow with.

So, why not join a coven?

    St. Charity Ladies Academy

St. Charity's is your stereotypical all-girls Catholic school, complete with plaid skirts, religion class, and nuns watching your every move.

Muse A is a typical Catholic girl who's gone to St. Charity's and other Catholic schools like it for her whole life. She prays every night, gets top marks, and always does as she's told.

Muse B, on the other hand, has been known for her entire life as a troublemaker and a delinquent. When she gets kicked out of her third high school, her parents decide to send her to St. Charity's to try and get her into shape.

When Muse A and Muse B are placed as roommates and given identical schedules, in hopes that Muse A will rub off on Muse B, both girls are horrified by the placement. As the polar opposites begin to get along, though, they begin to truly become friends. In fact, it seems like the two might turn into more than friends, something strongly looked down upon by the entire academy.

//I'll be playing Muse A. Leave a short form for Muse B and we can get started :-)

ahck, i love her ! i'll get us started with a first post :)

    Belle O'Sullivan

Summers in the O'Sullivan household were always a hell that Belle was happy to break free of, so it wasn't much of a surprise that she was giddy with anticipation on the car ride to St. Charity's, a warm break from the chill of her family's household. The girl spent the whole trip folding, unfolding, refolding her uniform, letting her hands rest on the familiar fabric. She couldn't wait to wear it again; It was the closest thing to home she had.

Belle practically leapt from the car when it stopped in the drive before the school; she knew better than to wait around for some kind of goodbye from her parents. She walked quickly toward the building, almost running. She was eager, certainly, to get back into familiarity.

Of course, the girl remembered with an ache in her chest, this year wouldn't be as familiar as the last. Belle had been perfect enough in her last term to receive the perfect punishment: being roomed with a new girl, a so-called delinquent, instead of the roommate she'd had for the past two years. Only Belle was enough of a goody-too-shoes for the school to ask her to help reform someone. The thought filled her with a bit of pride and a lot of self-loathing.

But perhaps the new girl wouldn't be so bad, Belle reminded herself as she grabbed her room key and scaled her way up to the third floor of the dormitory. Perhaps she would find a new friend. Perhaps the coming year wouldn't be so bad after all.

So she stepped into her dorm room with a new confidence and pretending not to care that she would soon meet a stranger.

Pinewood University isn't exactly notable for any reason. It's a small university, in a quiet college town in Oregon, with no especially good sports teams, though they're not especially bad either. Not a bad school, certainly, and they happen to have a few notable alumni, a few people who have made something of themselves. But Pinewood University is only known by those in the town around it.

For whatever reason, you've decided to attend the school, and are all packed up and ready for your first semester. Of course, you're not the only one attending, and there is the problem of housing. Out of the choices given, you've decided to get a suite with five other students. Six strangers packed together in one apartment.

This is going to be interesting.

--the dorm is co-ed, so no worries about genders!

--diversity and drama are heavily encouraged~

--rooms will be shared between two characters, it can be decided who rooms with who in plotting/rp

In a modern world, where royalty grows to hold far less power until they simply become figureheads, royal families must learn to adapt. Ancient customs and strange ritual must be thrown out for more modern sensibilities, and royal children must be taught the ways of the changing world and not be kept in their traditional homes.

In this time, many royal families opt to send their children--usually those who won't be crowned anything more than a prince or a princess--to private schools, instead of getting them tutors and sheltering them to the outside world. But, the question becomes, what school is fit for royalty?

Hawthorpe Academy is a private school in England founded on the sensibilities of nobility, and now it has become home to an increasing number of royal children. Aside from a few scholarship kids, every student at Hawthorpe is of noble upbringing. The school's stellar reputation, amazing academics, and notable alumni make it the perfect place to send royalty.

Join the growing ranks of Hawthorpe Academy, and step into the world of the lavish.

here's a quick first post! i figure we'll start basically right when elizabeth shows up at the entrance of the cave, either she's looking for the dragon or she just stumbled in~

    Celeste Dragoe

It was an uneventful night, as most were for Celeste. She was laid back on her sofa with a book in hand, the crackling warmth of the fireplace nearby, drowning out the distant thunder and sounds of rain on the stone ceiling of her cavern. Celeste's home had been a cave when she found it, but after a few years she had made it cozy enough--save for the coldness of the cavern and the open entrance, it was hardly recognizable as anything but a simple home.

This was how most of Celeste's nights went, with her sitting in her living room with a book or a bottle of wine until she drifted asleep. It was how most of her days went, too--though no one knew what her human form looked like, Celeste was careful not to go out amongst the townspeople too much, only leaving her den when she needed to do the week's shopping.

Celeste expected this night to be as boring as any other, and when she heard the strange sound of footsteps near her doorway she didn't expect that to change. "Is anyone there?" She asked, her voice echoing through the cavern as she rose slowly to her feet and walked to her doorway, expecting to find a deer or woodland creature who had wandered into her cave for a bit of shelter from the rain.

Celeste did not find what she expected.

altai i love that idea, joan would totally see jirou and think "i need to save this poor boy" and drag him into just the worse situations

updownandaround joan is definitely going to underestimate Sofia and probably almost think she's some kind of stuck up until she gets to know her, especially when they get a few drinks. And Joan will definitely try to tease and mess with Lucas early on, i can totally see her try to get under his skin and maybe even start a few fights with him until she just becomes a nuisance who he sort of has to deal with from time to time
