Elliott Alden~
"Rose," Elle said softly, almost to herself, turning the word over in her mouth. "A lovely name. And of course, you can call me Elle; there's no need for any honorifics." Elliott stepped forward so she was walking alongside Rose.
She couldn't help but let a worried expression cross her face for a moment at the question; The question Elliott didn't know the answer to, at least entirely. "Well," she said as she pulled her smile back on, "the prince hasn't given an answer yet. But he seems to be considering it; That's better than he's done for many of the other women, I'm told." She giggled at the predicament. It was almost comedic.
The second question surprised Elle, at least a bit. She turned to look at Rose with a smirk, ignoring the blush on her own face as she gazed at her. "There's plenty of reasons for that. You're far prettier than that knight back there, for one thing," she said with a laugh, "and women have always been better at conversation. Perhaps we could even be friends. I need a familiar face here, and I would be more than happy for that to be you, Rose."
