Featherkit yawned, her green eyes slightly closed, and her body was closely snuggled up to Berrybounce's fur before a random thought popped in her head and she jolted up in her spot and looked over at Scalekit-prodding her brother awake "S-scalekit w-wake up wake up!" she said, still getting use to speaking the fluffy tortoiseshell she-cat smiled a bit "lets play a game" she stated lightly not even given the tom a chance to wake up completely. She began to bound towards the entrance of the nursery, her tail flickering hoping that her brother was up and had started to follow her before she decided to push herself out of the entrance and stumbling into the clearing of the Shadowclan camp making a soft 'oof' sound escape her maw before she scrambled up to sit down facing the nursery "w-wanna play h-hide and seek o-or th-throw a m-moss ball around?" she asked curiously.

The she-kit's eyes brighten at her brother's idea and she nodded before standing up with a giant smile on her maw "t-that sounds like a g-g-great idea" She meowed excitedly at her brother. She was surprisingly energetic for it being so early in the morning. The fluffy she-cat awaited for him to get read before shifting her paws "w-want me to w-wait a-and give you a head st-start?" she asked him curiously as it was clear her brother had offer to be the mouse and she did want him to have at least a winning chance.

Featherkit looked up at Crimsonpaw with a smile upon her maw before her tail swished a bit as she listened to crismonpaw before responding "I-I've b-been w-watching s-some o-of t-the a-apprentices t-train..s-sometimes they let me l-learn a few t-tricks" she said and tilted her head at him wondering what he has been doing since their last meeting. "I-I'll b-be a-an apprentice n-next moon" she said with an excited look in her eyes.

Ah yes, Scalekit and her were old enough, but why didn't Featherkit feel happy about this moment? She should be excited! An apprentice finally-able to explore the territory and meet new cats at the gathering, but why wasn't she excited for this? Deep down in her heart Featherkit knew-she knew that Shadowclan wasn't her home-it never was nor will it ever be her home, no-she felt out of place. Her eyes flashed towards her friends Sorrelkit and Summerkit-Oh how the she-kit use to make her heart flutter but now, she felt stone cold and detached. but when she saw Crimsonpaw-the Thunderlcan tom her heart fluttered and it felt right-the woody smell of thunderclan and the dead leaves under her paw-yes she had snuck out of camp to see the tom-she was his friend and she missed him dearly. Climbing that tree with him that day felt right and she felt more at place when she was on Thunderlcan's border than she ever had when she was here in Shadowclan. Putting on a fake smile the she-kit pretended to be happy-but that night she planned on leaving, no goodbyes no nothing. She will leave Shadowclan and join Thunderclan, she had planned that since the moment she got back from being with Crimsonpaw that day. "Are we gonna b-be a-aprenttices momma?" she asked her curiously with an innocent look in her gaze.

A soft frown appeared on Featherkit's maw-she too wish that they were in the same clan, perhaps she should join Thunderclan to train with him-beside she felt more comfortable here than she ever did at Shadowclan, but she dare not say that-though she did agree with him as she watched him silently before noticing the beautiful butterfly and her eyes brightened as she stayed quiet not to disturb such a beautiful sight. "wow..." she whispered at amazement as she watch the butterfly with amazement.

Soon as her new name was called and her mentor had been chosen the she-cat stepped forward to touch noses with them, before her eyes flashed over towards her brother and then towards her mother with a soft smile appearing on the she-cat's maw. She hope that she would be proud of her--but she also know that her pride for Scalepaw and her would soon disappear as she already made plans to leave.

The darkness swallowed the she-cat's fur as she lay awake in the apprentice den. She had awaited till everyone to fall asleep before slowly getting up not to disturb anyone. Sneaking out of the apprentice den the she-cat carefully made her way towards the exit, but she paused and looked behind her as a soft sad sigh escaped her maw and her thoughts went to her friends and family "Goodbye Sorrelkit, Summerpaw. momma and mother" she said with a solemn look in her face before slipping out of the camp and onto the entrance of Shadowclan's territory. Taking a shaky breath the she-cat began to make her way towards the thunderpath. Everything was quite-no songs by the chirps of crickets or the breeze in the trees. Her tail hung low to the ground in a sad way before she began to make her way towards the tunnels underground. Finally the she-cat found it and took in a soft breath in before slipping into the wide mouth of the tunnel-feeling it's earthy coolness pressing against her fur. Carefully the she-cat made her way through the tunnel before slipping through the maw of the tunnel's exit onto the borders of Windclan's territory. Taking in a deep breath the she-cat carefully made her way across before disappearing into the shadows towards the way of Thundclan-where she believed her new home awaited her.

Her paw's ached-her eyes were full of tiredness as she stepped onto Thunderclan's border, tail curling around her paws as she awaited for a Thunderclanner to appear. Was what she was doing right? Or was it wrong? What would her mothers say to her? and what would her friend's say about her once they found out that she had joined Thunderclan. Her gaze watched the zone with careful wide eyes as she prayed that they will allowed her to join-she had no other real place to go other than here and couldn't dare turn around and go back to Shadowclan when they must've known by now she had left now and if she returned what would she tell them? That she had try to leave Shadowclan just to be in Thunderclan? Or that she had fallen for a thunderclanner-by mistake like the hopeless romantic cat she was? No, that would be bad and they probably wouldn't dare take the she-cat back. Letting a low sigh escape her maw. The she-cat had no realization that her silent brother had followed the she-cat all the way here.."Im a fool"

Featherpaw's eyes widen before looking up at the deputy-her maw half open before she shuffled her paw and stood up and looked up at her with a nervous look before deciding to say something "I-I want to join Thunderclan. I have no true home in Shadowclan" she stated nervously-her paws shifting a bit to meet Moonwatchers gaze "m-my name if Featherpaw" she said warily. She was tired, her paws ache and anxiety clawed at the she-cat's belly. She wasn't sure what the deputy would say and many thoughts run through her mind and her ears were flat across her skull. "I never felt like I fitted in Shadowclan...Its not my home-its my mother's home but not mine" she said with a pleading look.

She listened to Moonwatcher's words before a familiar voice perked her ears. Whirling around the she-cat stared at her brother with wide eyes "Scalepaw? I thought you were asleep" she said with shock as a frown appear upon her maw and she turned to face Moonwatcher and shook her head "m-my mother is dead..." she lied before glaring at Scalepaw hoping that he'd go along with her lie. She didn't want to be sent back to Shadowclan, no she never wanted to go back there-thats not her home. Looking back at Moonwatcher her eyes brightened up a bit before she nodded "I-I hope I can join the clan. I don't want to go back to Shadowclan...I never felt at home there" she meowed softly.

Featherpaw stayed silent as she shifted closer to her mentor-watching everyone with a careful gaze. She knew it was risky but she wanted to see her old family and clan. Her eyes flashed between the Riverclan cats not knowing a single one then towards Shadowclan-her breath almost got caught in her chest. There was Sorrelstar, and Briarthorn as well as Summerpaw-an old friend in some ways. She didnt know the other shadowclan cats. Her eyes flicked up to Moonwatcher as she felt the deputy's tail gently brushed against her. She shuffled a bit closer as her eyes went to the ground in silence as she awaited for the Riverclan's leader to speak.

Featherpaw frowned as she listened to the other cats spoke up from their experience with this so called Bloodclan. Shaking her head slightly at Nightstar's words her maw slightly opened to speak. "I-I dont think Blackstar said anything about being n-nice to Bloodclan" she said-her words were a bit quiet probably unabled to be heard but she hoped that they heard her words. Her eyes flashed up to Moonwatcher before looking back at Nightstar and the rest. "I...dont k-know what Bloodclan did or who they are b-but from what I heard from some of you guys makes it seem as if they cannot be trusted-and I think if we did go to gatherings m-maybe we c-could I-I dont know but...learn their weaknesses?" She questioned before looking up at her mentor wondering what she was saying was okay ir l if her words were far too much to say.
