"I left a boy and came back... a boy with a bigger body!
— Bloodpaw
The lage ginger tabby glanced around the Skyclan camp in search of his mentor and to no surprise at all, she was hard at work. Shaking his head to himself, the apprentice picked up a bird from the fresh kill pile and the skipped over to the nursery. "Lav, you're going to work yourself to death silly," he purred butting his head affectionatly against her neck. He placed the bird next to Lavanderskies' paws and took a look at the nests around. Bloodpaw hated being in the nursary. The awful memories were quickly flooding back and without realising it, he had found himself pressed against the deputy's flank. "J-ju-just let me know what to do," he meowed nervously as he tried to ignore the emotions

— Bloodpaw
Bloodpaw's long fluffy ears twitched when he heard his mentor's voice, a thing of authority. Lifting his body onto his large paws, the dark ginger tabby joyously padded over to the group forming. "If you've got more room Ill happily tag along!" he announced. The tom was very loyal to his deputy, after all, she was one of the only cats who had given him the time of day before he left as well as being welcoming to his return. She was definitely the closest thing he had to a parent figure but she was more of a friend and he preferred it that way.

Resting on top of the apprentice den, Bloodpaw poked his head from over the ledge to look down at his mentor. With a large goofy grin on his white maw the tom called down at her, "my you must be tired if you think I'm in there!" .he purred as he rolled onto his belly, "y'know I hate in there, I'm only in there if it's raining." With those words he slid down the side of the den and by his mentor's side.
Bloodpaw was more than ready to become a warrior when it came to number of moons but that wasn't really a requirement... when it came down to it, most of Bloodpaw's technique needed refining before he himself felt ready to become a warrior. With a confident nod the apprentice waiting for his mentor's lead, "maybe we could do a run through everything? I want to take my Warrior exam soon" he meowed with excitment.

"I left a boy and came back... a boy with a bigger body!
— Bloodpaw
Following proudly after his deputy, Bloodpaw was on his best behaviour. Once, the large dark ginger tom chose to live a little more carelessly than most but ever since he had returned from his trip he had been working hard to be a contributing member of Skyclan and having Lavenderskies as a mentor had really helped. His proud stature quickly crumbled as his eyes met those of the Thunderclanner, Laurelpaw. "H-h-hi," he purred taking an eager step towards the young grey she-cat, forgetting about his patrol.

The ginger tom's long fluffy ears twitched at the sound of his mentor's name being mentioned and he turned to face the authoritative voice. Seeing the Thunderclan deputy, Moonwatcher, Bloodpaw was quick to offer a respectful dip of his head but his attention was easily snatched back by the smaller Laurelpaw. "Laurel," he sang her name back to her before realising how dopey he had been acting. Shaking his head he let out a hearty laugh, "sorry, my names not Laurelpaw it's Bloodpaw! But Laurel is a wonderful name!" he exclaimed in a rush to explain himself. "You ever hear a nice sounding word and you just have yo repeat it?" he meowed having now taken too many steps closer to the Thunderclan apprentice. This was something the tom did often as he struggled with understanding where to draw the line of personal space. Most times, the cats would just scoff at him in disgust and walk away but that didn't bother Bloodpaw especially now he understood why. It always baffled him why no one explained it, then again he assumed it was because of his awkward upbringing.
// my b!! Forgot to update Blood's sig, he's actually older ^.^'

When Laurelpaw's melodic chuckle reached Bloodpaw's ears, his heart began to beat faster against his ribs. He wasn't really sure what was going on but he kept his gaze locked on the grey she-cat wondering if she could hear how loud his heart was pumping. Finally, noticing he had taken a few steps closer to the Thunderclanner, Bloodpaw stopped immediately but did not release his attention from Laurelpaw. As she explained about her mother the large orphan tom shuffled his paws nervously hoping she wouldn't ask about his roots as he had been told time and time again that no one wanted to hear about it because it made them uncomfortable. However, lucky for him she inquired about his apprenticeship, something that was moving along pretty slowly. "Oh ermm its a bit of a mess. My mentor was a bit lazy so I never really learnt anything and errmm then I left for a couple of moons... but now Lav's mentoring me and I'm learning so much!" he replied feeling his pelt heat up in slight embarrassment from being behind in his training and admitting to leaving his clan. "W-what about yourself?" he quickly asked hoping she wouldn't address anything he mentioned.

Turning to the other apprentice who had just walked in, Bloodpaw purred in excitement "don't you worry Lav! Breezepaw and I have got the other nests, right?" His pale blue eyes glistened with glee of being given the chance to give back to his hardworking mentor and also it gave him a chance to get to know the other apprentice. Towering over Breezepaw, the friendly giant wore a goofy grin and widened his eyes pleadingly for her to agree with helping him clean.

I'm starting a new full-time job for the summer tomorrow and i'm S U P E R nervous dsfkjdsf I hate getting trained in at new places and trying to figure out the dynamic
also I need some name opinions!!
do y'all like the prefix Aspen or Maple better? it'd be for a male fawn-silver tabby if that makes a difference!
Good luck!! you'll do great :3
also they're both cool!! for a fawn-silver tab, i'd pick Aspen -
thank's guys ♡ Aspen is kind of what I was leaning towards as well!
also I'm thinking I want Moth to sustain some kind of injury soon (nothing major i love her too much lmao) but idk what exactly I want to happen cause I'm stripped for any plotting ideas rn sdafkj
Blood and her can have a fighting practice that ends badly?? maybe they fight up a tree and she gets a dislocated shoulder or something??

The large dark ginger tom felt heart beat rapidly against his chest as Laurelpaw talked about herself. Confused what was going on the tom shuffled his paws nervously but continued to listen, waiting eagerly for her to finish so he could ask what she thought about it but then she mentioned their own fighting move. "Wait really? That's so cool!" he purred hoping to one day see it. Maybe they could meet again on the border and talk some more and she would show him? He wasn't sure what he was feeling but he knew he thought she was pretty fun to be around, so seeing her again was definitely something he'd want to do... Hopefully his clan wouldn't see no malicious intent behind it and wouldn't mind him having a Thunderclanner friend. Still. His heart pumped loudly against his ribcage and he picked up the molly's grey paw with his own large paws. Pulling it closer to his chest he asked for her opinion, "Laurel feel my chest! That's fast right? That never happens, I swear I'm in shape," he protested his body's reaction to padding closer to Laurelpaw.

— Bloodpaw
Starring back at the grey tabby with intrigued pale blue orbs, Bloodpaw offered an unknowing shrug as a response, along with a few nonchalant words, "I mean I feel oka-" His sentence was cut off by the Thunderclan deputy calling for her patrol to return. Respectfully, Bloodpaw got to his paws and dipped his head the the silvery she-cat, much like he would do towards his own deputy who was probably going to call him back too. He began to back away from the Thunderclanners, keeping his gentle sky eyes on those of the pale green of Laurelpaw's, "it was great to meet you!" his voice danced with excitement before he whipped around and bounded back over to Lavanderskies' side. Lifting his head up he called out to the forest in an unexpected manner, "Lauralpaw! and then looked over his should back at the Thunderclan apprentice and aoplogised with a large grin on his maw "sorry I just really like the name."

if you make the thread that would help a lot!! I'm a little flooded with my others

"I left a boy and came back... a boy with a bigger body!
— Bloodpaw
The tom's large fluffy ears twitched at the sound of his voice but no one ever needed him apart from Lavenderskies, so he was quick to dismiss it but then the voice continued. "Did she just say she wanted to train with me? " the dark ginger cat thought to himself for a moment before lifting his head up and facing Mothpaw. It was very easy to put a smile on Bloodpaw's face but this lit up his pale blue orbs with glee! Raising to his paws, the tom towered over the smaller apprentice and nodding frantically he swiftly made his way after the eager apprentice. "So what did you have in mind? " he called after her, quickening his pace and skipping to be by her side as they made their way to the training grounds, "I'm down for anything really!" he purred enthusiastically, puffing out his chest. Bloodpaw was adventurous and was all about living to try new things with the more recent goal of being a loyal contributing member to Skyclan which meant he was limited to staying within the clan territory. However, after finding his father beyond the clan territory he no longer had the desire to keep searching but the make the most of his clan life.
// nw and that's all good with me, we can change the privacy after the accident but i don't mind if others join with them!! If we have a chance to make an open maybe we should? <33
