the only reason that i'm here is to wreak havoc.
maybe it was from watching closely where his brother skipped off too, or maybe it was the fact that havoc always felt late to the party. havoc found himself once again near the presence of his matted, snake-like brother whomst he wouldn't say a word to. his tail twitched with angst and a surfacing anger towards his kin, but he kept it passive while he stalked towards the the gathered cats. he took a place beside Bianca, stepping a bit further than she did, fighting for dominance against the guard. with the passive aggressive action came an unfriendly glare towards her before he turned back to Bune. "Can I do something?" he asked without hesitation. he was only a kit of three moons, but surely that was old enough to do a lot of things. he could dig his claws into any trespasser, he could carry his weight. nothing scared him! havoc looked up at the lilac cat, awaiting a response.

the only reason that i'm here is to wreak havoc.
havoc was having a dream about monsters; fiercely running with their unmoving legs across roads paved with a scorching substance-- or that's how it felt. hot, like boiling water that he dipped his first paw into. the sun beamed so brightly overhead, and he watched one by one as the buildings around him began collapsing. the only sign of twolegs were the screaming monsters who passed again and again. a bottle struck the ground near him and sent him into motion. his paws landed without warning on the black tar that was the road- the pads of his paws screamed with pain as if he had touched nothing less than fire itself. another monster was coming, and he was neither in the middle where he could crouch, nor at the end where he could back away or run forward. he was trapped.
no, he had to move. he didn't feel afraid anymore, only motivated. he lifted one of his long heavy legs, pulling and pulling until his foot was free of the sticky road that now clung to him like burning lava. it was loosened with a heavy SNAP. suddenly something else was approaching. as if the sound of the twoleg dens that had been destroyed minutes ago was just now traveling into his ears. a loud crash sent him--
flying across the room with the rest of the rubble that the monster had pushed. the wall of the building had been torn by the teeth of a giant, angry twoleg beast. havoc's body was under a mess of wood and shingles. he could smell dust so strong in the air that he felt as if he were not breathing at all. his chest closed with pain, but he flung himself out of the rubble and watched as the rest of his clanmates scurried out of the path of the beast. his long black legs seemed to betray him; they stood perfectly still. was this a dream?
no, of course it wasn't. that was his wakeup call.
with that thought coursing through his brain, along with adrenaline and blood pumping in his ears, he turned and bolted for the exit. it wasn't so much of "how" he would get out anymore. other cats had already made escapes and all he did was hastily follow them. fleeting cats rounded every corner, gathering far, but yet too close, to the bloodhouse and what it now was. his mind cleared. his conscious told him one thing; which he said aloud as flew into the opening.
"Morgan!" he panted as he opened his eyes into the burning air. Mom. Morgan. Aphrodite. Nyx. Mistletoe.
where are they. where is morgan.
i don't hate him anymore.

havoc placed a long, silent paw beside his sister. had he followed her? maybe. just curious as to what she was up to. he noticed that she wasn't one for slipping out of the nursery much.
the persian that sat beside nyx was giant compared to them. he knew her briefly as Bianca. he couldn't say he had any truthful interest in talking to her, but Wick was the cat that he had gotten in trouble for tackling. at least he should find another way to show him who's boss--
this made havoc smirk. he wasn't anything near a boss. he was just a simple kit with sharp claws and long, awkward legs.
"Remember me?" he parted his jaws in a sideways smile while he glanced at nyx, then back to the injured tom

it began to feel like a family reunion. all three of the cats that had approached the newcommer had unity with the dark. havoc's pale grays stood out among Morgan and Artemis' solid fur, but he was blended in with the shadows all the same. havoc raised his eyes as the cat spoke to his brother, on the other side. Morgan, of course, was silent as always. he waited eagerly for his mother's reply. soon it became boring, and the restless black smoke crept further. he scooped a rock into his mouth and back-tracked, slipping behind his mother and further towards his brother.
he jumped loudly onto the crate next to his massive brother and grinned through the rock in his teeth. he (yeeted) tossed the rock into the air aiming to land somewhere on the overly confident feline who had strolled into their territory. his smile faded and he bared his teeth at the stranger. he was tiny compared to his brother next to him, but he could tell they shared the same opinion. this flirt was about to be running.

small black paws placed evenly at the end of flexible, long limbs carried the black smoke kit further into the city. street birds and rodents were out today; he could smell them in between his parted jaws. his mouth watered at the thought of something fresh to eat. nonetheless, he didn't mind the thought of scavenging for something in the city streets. twolegs were becoming more frequent as he crept through the city. what seemed like hours and miles of walking only carried the small kitten a short distance away from bloodclan's territory. suddenly havoc's nose caught onto a scent he hadn't recognized. though sure the odor that wafted into his nose was another cat's, he couldn't pick out whether that cat belonged to his clan or not.
his head turned back towards the direction of the bloodhouse, seeing it's roof peak through the trees and buildings. he wasn't that far away. his pale eyes searched quietly for the other presence.
sabrae.
wasn't he there at her first impression? or was that the other battered cat. he crept forward more slowly now. mercy fled from him. he was going to sneak up on her; if he was quiet enough. a fun target on a hot day.

"Sir." havoc let his grin widen as Bune addressed him, but his voice didn't carry far enough and he relaxed his shoulders while listening to the grown cats converse. over the course of a few days, he had seen the lilac cat more times than enough; but havoc didn't feel resentment towards him like he did for other cats. he looked to morgan once again with bubbling curiosity. the newcommer didn't seem to be at all someone he would get along with. "You're not fun anyway." he looked towards the crate that he was sitting on to hide the smirk on his face. he didn't need to show how easily amused he was.

the black jackal's plumed tail thwapped against his brother's body unintentionally. "You don't sign up, mousebrain." was the kit's reply to the newcommer; the spout which let anger into his body was sending out nothing but pure hatred for the cat that hit on his mother.
he had the audacity.
some nerve.
that.. that ass.
havoc's gaze slid back to Lowlife. his temper cooled in seconds, leaving him without any certain feeling. maybe the stranger wasn't going to be such a pain. "What's your name?" havoc leapt from the crate, using his long black legs to push him forward. his front legs caught him with grace, and for a minute even he forgot that he was only 3 moons old. he hadn't grown much, but he realized now how tall he would stand compared to Nyx or Aphrodite. either way, he was NOTHING against Morgan. his brother had such a big build that he couldn't tell if it was all fur; or if some of it was skin and bones too.
the black smoke's lips peeled back to let loose his white, contrasting teeth, but his face remained calm. he was just trying to show off in the light of Wildseas; who he nervously glanced towards, then quickly resettled his gaze back on Lowlife.

black, smokey paws that were small against the vast ocean of sand and grass and pavement were frozen to their spot. he had just realized how lucky he had been to get out without any injuries; none except for the scratches on his paw-pads from skidding in the gravel. he'd live. his pale ecliptic optics scanned the ruins of his home. nothing was left. nothing.
and he couldn't tell what the worse part was; the fact that he was missing his family and couldn't spot them from where he stood, or the fact that his home-
the clan was homeless now. it hit him like he was an adult; with the weight of finding a new home heavy on his thin shoulders. he took a deep breath and tried to clear the dust out of his lungs. he was surrounded by cats but none of them mattered anymore. the escapees were panting and addressing themselves, or panicking and trying to save the others. his mouth didn't close all the way; instead he just heaved as if he was going to be sick. he was the least injured, yet he felt as if watching his home crumble before him was enough to cripple him for a lifetime. havoc bent forward and pressed his face into the ground; he never cried.
never in his life had he cried.
until now; where tears poured out of him so rapidly that he couldn't tell what was him drooling from not shutting his mouth; or his eyes flooding the ground.
a minute later, he sat up, wiped his face with his paw, and bounced forward towards the ruins. "Mom!" he wailed, cutting the air with a swift shriek. he didn't stop bolting towards the ruins.

the canine-like kit flexed his long limbs. he bent his back towards the ground while the rest of him stretched upwards. his teeth, gleaming white and still razor sharp from recently growing in. they surrounded his pink sandpaper tongue like a cage. the whirl in his mind created a constant buzz in his ears. he was only imagining the noise.
but the thing that snapped him out of his head was Wildseas' voice.
he slipped through the crowd of people and took his place beside Artemis. he pressed into his mothers pelt with another wave of relief once again. he was glad that she was safe, her comforting warmth soaking into his fur.

"Try to keep it out of your mouth." the jet smoke kit narrowed his eyes and felt his body tense. Lowlife. the name fit him, but havoc didn't know what it meant. he looked patiently towards Wildseas, his leader, with a burning admiration. the feeling of calm aggression gave the black jackal a rush of excitement. he was proud to be apart of bloodclan. a band of ruthless assholes— or maybe he was the only asshole.

the black jackal was slinking towards the bright orange kit with his pale eyes opened empathetically. his first thought was that the kit was definitely younger— and pathetic. rain had seeped through the clouds and pelted the ground for days. havoc thanked the sky for clearing up today. he was able to be out and about. he was ready for trouble. the pathetic attempt at hiding her face behind her soaked tail made him grin. he caught himself and took a deep breath.
"Why’re you all wet?" he asked as he stepped closer towards Firestain. when he stopped he was about a foot away, but his head dipped down and felt less than an inch away from the drenched kit’s face. he didn’t mean to scare her further, but he knew he probably would. she was so— tiny.. so timid.

the perfect target. pale eyes watched Lowlife stalking across the church floor aimlessly. he caught the shiny black cat off guard, but he guessed that wasn't an achievement. he hated the way that Lowlife spoke and acted. so laid back, calm, smooth. this newcommer was one he wanted to give hell.
when havoc was still learning his limits he remembered striking the broken, battered Wick as he was speaking to the leader. he leapt gracefully from the sky and landed cleverly on the pale cat’s back. the trouble he had gotten into with Bune and Wildseas was disappointing.
but here he was perched on a single shelf in the new building. the church had so many weird hiding spots. black paws propelled him forward and he landed with more power than he expected. the ground rattled where he threw himself. wooden floorboards met with his claws the second he touched them. here in front of his target.
@l o w l i f e .
the dark cat shared similarities with the black jackal, but the differences exploded in his mind. Lowlife had short, slick black fur. his smile disgusted havoc— made him—
before the canine-like cat could fully think his insults through, he arched his back and parted his jaws to let his shining teeth show. he was a little over three feet away from the older tom. a mischievous grin couldn’t be stopped by havoc’s calm mind. it shone to the surface and blossomed on his face.
"Remember me?" he cursed himself with the luring feeling of deja vu. he had said the same line to Wick—
that didn’t matter. this was the mousebrain who had no idea about being in a clan. havoc would teach him a lesson... thats right! big and scary—
and very small—
havoc.
