Check out this announcement about new leadership limits in Agrelos

Zeppelin had been ambassador of the Thunderlands one (was he still? He needed to go check that guide again, maybe offer them another visit), but he had never gotten much of a chance to really get to know the Clan or the creatures within it. He knew they were an ally, and that Nymeria was their leader, but he supposed the stagnation they (on both fronts, in this case) had fallen into had prevented him from really keeping on top of the Dynasty's allies the way he was meant to (was that in his job description?). He knew only vaguely of Julian, but he hoped that a new leader in the jungle might mean a resurge of activity for them. He didn't dislike Nymeria-- he hardly knew the first thing about her-- but there was always something exciting about leadership changes. It almost felt like a second chance.

"Congratulations, Julian," greeted the Archbishop as he padded over, ginger and white tail swaying back and forth behind him. "We wish you the best of luck, and if you need any help getting settled in the position, you know where to find us."

A straightforward enough meeting. Zeppelin was honestly surprised that he hadn't gotten an activity warning-- ever since he held the meeting in Softvelvet's place, he had fallen off a bit on the activity side of things. But he was glad to see that the Patriarch either hadn't noticed or had noticed and wasn't concerned about it yet. The man tried to keep the thoughts out of his mind as the meeting continued onwards, nodding along quietly to the explanation of the roles of the Bishops. He figured they were straightforward enough-- maybe not so much as the Kingpins had been before the Dynasty's revival, but clear enough for people to know what they were there for. Evidently, he couldn't give his Clanmates that benefit of the doubt, which disappointed him slightly. But he kept his mouth shut regardless as he settled himself down by the throne, not wanting to make an ass of himself. He had made quite a habit of holding in all his snarky remarks. It was unfit for the deputy of a pro-clan to be such a jackass.

apologies for my inactivity as well! I'm still feeling out whether or not I'm gonna have much more muse for Zep-- might be dropping him soon.

Next to arrive was Zeppelin, sticking close to Softvelvet's side as he always did when the two were both in the same place. It was becoming a reflex, really-- at this point it was more than just a cute little habit. He only hoped that it didn't draw much more attention their way. He figured that most of the emphasis would be on keeping things civil, despite the conflicting alliances and myriad enemies that would be in attendance of this meeting. The scent of the Exiles still had a way of making the Archbishop's fur prickle, but he did his best to keep calm, since he knew that Vel's relationship with the rogues was... Conflicted. At one point he would have been expected to treat them as an ally. He hoped that that time was long gone.

"Zeppelin Walker, deputy of the Dark Dynasty," he introduced himself with a dip of his head once the Patriarch had finished. He could hear the blatant lies that the man was forcing out, and he offered Softvelvet a consolatory glance as a sort of reminder that he wasn't in this alone. He was honestly surprised that more drama hadn't already kicked up due to the presence of the Exiles alone.

It seemed that Zeppelin had arrived just in the nick of time, with the game having been announced and explained but not gone underway yet. There was a sizable group around 1004, which pleased the Archbishop, as it wasn't often that so many Dynastians managed to all get together in one space like this. He nodded to everyone in greeting, a small smile on his face, and glanced back and forth with a quizzical look on his face; he too was wondering who was going to get the show on the road.

The Dynasty's change from neutral to pro-clan brought with it some interactions from some very unexpected sources. Sure, Valhalla and Solaris had been allies, but that was under Teacuptempest and Fourthwall-- he hadn't heard a thing from them since the merge occurred. After all, they had been enemies with ColouredClan, but the merge had graciously lifted them to neutrals, if he was remembering correctly. However, he did know Ver, if only in passing. They probably met at a few allied events over the months, and he had heard through the grapevine that she was really rising the ranks of the Clans in which she resided. But leader? It had never occurred to him that she would reach such a position so quickly.

"Good to see you again, Ms. Million," greeted Zeppelin with a polite dip of his head. "Pleasure to meet you as well, Amatus. Zeppelin Walker, deputy." He went quiet as the Solarian leader explained her reasoning for being here, the former Kingpin of Politics' invisible brow furrowed in visible confusion. He glanced between Ver and Softvelvet a few times, until the former went quiet again at the end of her pitch. "If I may--" he added, his voice a bit softer out of worry that he might be wrong, even though he knew that he wasn't-- "Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't an alliance between us already in place? Or am I forgetting something that occurred when we made all those changes to the Clan?" he asked gingerly, tilting his head as he glanced back at Sofie.

//let me know if he shouldn't have brought this up and I can edit :')

Zeppelin stuck close to Softvelvet's side as the pair approached the border of the floating archipelago. It was an odd thing, trying to find a border for the place, considering it mostly floated in midair, but Zeppelin supposed that Sofie knew what he was doing. The Archbishop himself had only been here once before, months ago, to discuss with Aleksei and a few others the prospects of the BlizzardClan-Valhalla alliance resuming under the new leadership. Needless to say, none of that mattered now. He wondered where Aleksei had gone off to.

"Gabriel, Ms. Keyper, good to see you're both well," greeted the feline upon reaching them, but from then on he remained silent. He was here to accompany Softvelvet in his travels, but the Patriarch made it clear that he wanted to be doing the talking. Of course, Zeppelin understood-- after all, he had already heard everything that they had to say. So he just let his tail flick back and forth as he awaited an answer from the BlizzardClanners.

Sitting beside the throne instead of upon it was a comfort that Zeppelin didn't realize was going to bring him so much relief when Softvelvet returned. Being leader, even for a week during dire circumstances, had brought the man more stress than he expected it to, so he was glad to not have the limelight shone so brightly on him anymore. He sat down with his tail curled about his paws just as the Patricarch would begin the meeting, and when his name was called he would return the leader's smile with a warm one of his own. "It was the lease I could do, no trouble at all," he replied kindly, though the latter part was a slight lie. It wasn't that anything bad had happened during Softvelvet's time away; it was just personal stressors of the Archbishop that no one else needed to worry about. For now, he sat and awaited the rest of the meeting.

It was a comfort to Zeppelin to see Softvelvet around again, taking matters into his own hands once more. It was an odd feeling for the feline to be left in a position of leadership once more, no matter how temporary, so the return of the Patriarch had taken a considerable weight off the shoulders of the Archbishop. He had someone to stand side by side with once again, someone he could turn to for matters of importance. And it felt right, to be Softvelvet's right hand man once again. He didn't think he wanted to be leader again, or at least, not for a very long time.

"Nice to see you, Rohan, was it?" greeted the ginger and white feline as he padded up to pause by the leader's side. He was glad to see that ambassador business was going well again. "I hope you and the Flights are all doing well."

The turnout to this meeting was pleasing to the Archbishop, especialy considering the amount of members he usually got per meeting during meetings in Valhalla. He was lucky if he got maybe two or three responses, and those meetings were only every other week! Sometimes he felt like he missed the Clan, but other times he knew that they were all doing better now. It was time that he passed the torch. But it felt odd being in a leadership position again.

"For those who weren't informed, I'm holding this meeting in place of Softvelvet because he's currently away," explained Zeppelin. "He'll be back I believe towards the end of next week, and I'll catch him up on everything he missed upon his return. Trust me, this is not a permanent change." Awkward laugh. He wasn't ready to lead a Clan again. "Ah, next, welcome to all our new joiners. Welcome to Ymir. , FLAXENPAW , MAZARINE ! , haruna. , [apollo v] , LAMENTEDREALM , Vitalia .kerosene , and Athena Cronus . If any of you need any help getting situated, no matter for what reason, be sure to come find me or another high position. If you'd like, I can introduce you to Softvelvet when he comes home." His tail flicked. "And welcome back to BREAKOUT . I hope everything starts to look up for you soon."

"I'm not going to be promoting or demoting anyone, as I feel it's not really my place. Plus, I haven't been as active as I could be myself, so it'd make me a bit of a hypocrite. Everyone just keep up what you're doing, alright?" This was much more awkward than any of his meetings in Valhalla.

"The only other political news is that we might be entering an alliance with BlizzardClan," the man explained. "It's not confirmed yet, since only Vel can really do that, but a representative from BlizzardClan visited us recently and explained to us why an alliance might be beneficial." He had his own opinions on it, but he wouldn't voice them. "Other than that, Glitteringgold is hosting a bonfire, and I'd like someone to volunteer to hold weekly tasks." His tail flicked. "If no one has any questions, you're dismissed."

Most of Zeppelin's interaction with BlizzardClan came from their alliance with Valhalla, where the arcipelago-dwellers seemed to be the only ones who really gave a damn about their alliance, even if Valhalla didn't really have the means to make it an even deal for them. Why were they allies at all, again? In the Dynasty, the only interaction he had had with BlizzardClan was indirectly, through the trial of Megalith for her mental control of a BlizzardClanner to make them turn on their own Clanmates. The memories of that time were foggy, since none of it really had anything to do with him. But now he was being thrust into a leadership position once again, albeit temporarily, so he'd have to suck it up and deal with them again. Not that he really had enough of an opinion on them to care.

"Afternoon," he greeted Gabriel with a polite dip of his head as he came up alongside his Clanmates. "Zeppelin Walker, Archbishop. Glitteringold's right, in that Softvelvet is away for now, but I can be sure to relay the message of your interest to him." He didn't want to make a definitive yes or no answer without the Patriarch present, but he figured acting as an overglorified messenger would do for now. "What advantages would an alliance with your Clan bring to the Dynasty?" he asked with a tilt of his head.

It was a peculiar feeling, but it wasn't a feeling that Zeppelin was new to.

Way back in February, he had been approached by Anko to hold a meeting in Valhalla in her place, when she wasn't well. It was only a few weeks after that that he was asked to step up as leader of the Valhalla entirely. He hoped that this situation was going to be a different one, but it still gave him the same strange feeling. Hopping up onto Softvelvet's throne, settling himself amongst the plush cushions, felt as wrong as climbing onto the moss rock in the marsh and calling for a meeting felt. He knew he had to set these memories aside-- he was the last one to ever hold a meeting in the Silent Marsh, and Valhalla was now long gone-- and he tried to do so as he drew in a breath atop the lavish throne.

    "Dynasty, gather for a meeting!"

Well, hopefully this didn't lead to another Clan being unexpectedly handed to him when he wasn't ready for it.

As Glitteringgold had expected, the smell of smoke from somewhere within the territory had Zeppelin up and moving in a matter of seconds. His paws carried him quickly out of the palace and through the bamboo forest towards the acrid smell, eyes wide. Of course this had to happen while Sofie was away, of course this had to happen to me-- however, the feline's thoughts were cut short as he reached the meticulously arranged and plentifully stocked bonfire and the Crusader who had set it alight. After pausing for a moment, the realization being absorbed in his mind, the Archbishop gave a heavy sigh.

"Christ, Glitteringgold, you nearly gave me a heart attack with this thing," he said, an awkward laugh bubbling from his mouth as he made the comment. He looked the fire up and down, making sure it was carefully contained, and then he made his way over to the food that had been laid out. "Though I suppose that is a hell of a way to get everyone running your direction, eh?" he added with a small smile.

Late, but better late than never, Zeppelin was drawn over to the border by an unfamiliar voice being responded to by Glitteringgold and Misosoup. Ears pricked and alert, the Archbishop padded over and relaxed to see that the other Dynastians had the joiner situation under control. "Welcome to the Dynasty, Haruna," greeted the feline with a dip of his head. "I'm Zeppelin Walker, technically the deputy of the Dynasty, but I'm stepping in as leader temporarily, since our Patriarch Softvelvet has taken a short leave," he explained. He glanced between the Crusader and the newcomer next. "I'll leave you two to go on that tour, but if you need any other help settling in, don't be afraid to come find me in the palace."
