・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - The rabbit would rather melt than step foot in a body of water. He had almost drowned himself, although in his early youth thanks to a storm washing him away to sea and ultimately dumping him in Agrelos. It was a mixed blessing in some cases; he longed to revisit the little island of his birth, but he had discovered so much on Agrelos that he didn’t think his little island could compare to. Regardless, the horned creature was wary of bodies of water. Even if the sun was clear and not a cloud in the sky, he’d always be cautious at the potential strength of surging, furious waters. “Having a good time?” asked the rabbit plainly, sitting on top of a rock that was near the water’s edge. He momentarily had his eyes focused deep into his own reflection, but managed to snap out of his daze to watch Glitteringgold seemingly enjoy himself.

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - Previously, he had held the belief that a leader wasn’t a true leader if they stepped down. Now that he looked back on it, he didn’t understand his thinking behind it. If anything, it was more honorable to know when to step aside and leave it to someone more qualified. Windwaker had not been here when Duskstar backed down nor long enough to gain a strong sense of who Jericho was, but at least the feline appeared to be gentle a kind; someone he’d be proud to follow behind. “Congratulations Jericho,” he spoke calmly, eyes sparkling at this change in leadership. “And thank you for your service to Wind Haven, Algernon.” Seeing that the canine would still be here as a normal member was still good news and the rabbit thought it’d be respectful to thank the former leader on what he did for the group.

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - Another young one came to join them, this one looking for his father. Usually when a kid came asking, they would be met with disappointing responses, but it warmed his heart to know that Henry roamed these parts. Though, was it another Henry or the same Henry he was thinking about? The white-furred rabbit came up to stand besides Chionodoxa, eyes trained on Caliban. “If your dad likes cane toads, then he’s here alright,” he commented before going quiet again. His ears perked up as he suddenly began to peer around. Who knows? Maybe Henry would show his face quite soon here.

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - The raw scent of iron; it was something that was too familiar to him. Granted the only time he had gotten injured was his run in with the viper, but such memory didn't go away. It hung around, waiting in the back, before resurfacing for a quick moment as a heavy-hitting reminder to him. The world with all its' beauty could be undoubtedly cruel. Just because he was close to death before didn't mean he had witnessed one in the process of dying. The horned rabbit took one look at the bloodstained calico before eyes wildly scanned their surroundings. "Did someone hurt you? Who did it?" he suddenly spouts, ears flattening. Even though she was a total stranger, the rabbit couldn't help but feel a hot wave of protectiveness especially with Chionodoxa around. He wouldn't let anything lay a paw on the young Havener or anyone else in his home.

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - The horned rabbit had started to sniff around curiously at the ground, his ears still perked to pick up the conversations that others were having in the meantime. To hear that Cassiopeia was planning to collect herbs made him raise his head. Collecting herbs? Others were mentioning that there was an herb garden they could just collect from. "Garden or not, you could have just asked me," began the white-furred rabbit. "I can grow whatever you need in case there's a certain herb not growing in the garden for any reason." It probably would be no surprise the mono-eyed feline that an herbivore could grow plants, but it was useful in other areas except feeding. To be brutally honest, he hadn't used his ability for a while now; he just didn't have a reason to yet.

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - It was a blessing that his coat was a solid pure white color as white typically bounced off lightwaves much better than other colors; boy, if he had a black pelt then things would have been much different. The horned creature naturally waved back in response before comfortably placing his paw down on his rocky perch over the water. "I can swim a little, don't worry about me falling in and drowning," he joked lightly although his once again wandered down memory lane. If he hadn't known to swim then he wouldn't have been here; he'd be thousands of miles below cold seas and his bones would serve as decorations on the seafloor. Windwaker let out a soft sigh before his bobbed tail twitched lightly. "Water doesn't sit well with me, that's all." He gave a little sheepish shrug before looking down at the water's edge. "If you want some company in the water, I hope you don't mind me just getting my paws wet."

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - It was early morning - early enough the the sky still was painted with rosy pinks, soft oranges, sleepy purples, and daytime blues. There was still some buzzing of insects passing by and in the distance grazed a family of resident unicorns. The horned rabbit breathed in deeply, relishing the feeling of pure and cool morning air filling his lungs. This was the perfect time and setting to carry out his weekly task that - frankly - he was kind of excited to do.
He wandered near the door to the castle, peering inside and looking around for any early risers. "I'm holding my weekly task, which will be focusing on powers, but I invite some of our non-power Tribers as well. I think there's a few things you all can pick up as well," he said, half-quiet and half-announcing. He didn't want to shout anybody awake as he understood how early it was and not everyone was an early bird. Yet to the creatures that were awake, he didn't want them missing this opportunity. For now, the creature walked off to the spanning meadows, waiting for someone to eventually show up.

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - The horned rabbit had been terribly silent for the entire trek to Volary Flights. He had never been here before and he loathed the fact that his first visit would involve bringing back a deceased body. His eyes had been trained mostly at the ground directly his paws and not once looking up to Cassiopeia. He was afraid; afraid that if he’d look up and see the deceased, he would crack. The pelt was slightly ruffled at the thought and soon the sounds of worried Volarians kept him on edge. Windwaker had to be strong; this was no time to break down in front of strangers. “She was bloodied and wounded, practically dragging herself to our borders,” he began. He would not let Olivia’s case go cold due to the lack of details, even though there wasn’t much to follow up on. “Thanks to Cassiopeia, there were some traces of a loner’s scent. I-I asked who did it and...” The rabbit paused, shivering at the bloody red scene of someone dying. Would he be able to forget that too someday or be forever engrained like his childhood fight with a viper that almost costed his life? “... She told me a white cat with green eyes... Unfortunately, she couldn’t say much more.” Olivia had been too preoccupied with seeing her family for a final time before passing and he hadn’t step in to interrupt here once again.

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - Blood once again came to haunt one of his peaceful homes. The first encounter with it resulted in the death of a mother who just wanted to see her kids and now Ghiaccio horribly wounded and... the scent of exiles.
They had burned down Shadow Veil territory many moons before yet he could not forgive them for their deed. He had moved to the Tribe and the Haven after his isolation period and for a moment, he believed he would be free from that lawless group. Yet they came in and soiled a clanmate which felt like a bitter spat to the rabbit. It left a bitter taste in his mouth that he was useless in the realm of herbs and medicine so he could only rush to the pair and stare at the injuries. The horned rabbit swiveled his head to Chionodoxa, eyes wide with the need to help. “What do you need more of?” He demanded suddenly, noting that she only had cobwebs and poppy seeds at her disposal. Instead of waiting around, he picked up a cobweb bundle and pressed it down on a neck wound, feeling as it was the most important spot that needed attention. His paws were stained a sickly red, but Windwaker let out a deep and shaky breath. “We’re not going to lose you, not if I can change that,” he growled mostly to himself, adamant to keep Ghi alive enough to move to camp.

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - He wasn’t sure if he was ready to visit Volary Flights again especially since his first ever visit there was to return a dead body. As much as he tried to not show it, it had seriously disturbed him to his core. He didn’t understand; he wanted to be a strong warrior and warriors unfortunately saw death commonly. He was just new... Wind Haven and the Tribe weren’t exactly hot spots for violence so he wasn’t expecting Olivia’s death and Ghi’s bloodstained return. “I’m sure Jericho wouldn’t mind us going to a party,” he murmured, forcing a small smile to the Volarian. He had no right to accept it - in his opinion - being a Guardian and all.
-
・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - He had witnessed a death in Wind Haven, he had to bring back the dead body along with another Havener to Volary Flights, and finally a clanmate returned bruised and spilling blood all over. It both worried and angered the white-furred creature; he couldn’t be the to protect everyone from evil that roamed just outside their borders. It felt so unfair to him and he let out some frustration by tearing out some grasses. He had been so relieved that he was able to escape back to his primary home at the end of yesterday. He could just forget everything even just temporarily.
Considering his state of mind, the rabbit did not pass up the picnic invitation. A little food, some small talks with fellow Tribemates, and perhaps do some activities. He took his time wandering the meadow in search of the spot of the activity in order to allow his mind to clear in preparation for interaction. A small smile was on his face as he finally arrived, looking over the work Darkskies had put in in setting this up. He wasn’t one for swimming - Glitteringgold would probably agree with such - but he did appreciate that it was under some shade. “Hello Darkskies, nice seeing you,” he greeted. “You really did a nice job, but I have to ask; what are we having as a meal?”

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - Unlike the pair before him as he just so happened to pass by the grandiose doors to the library, Windwaker had barely frequented the place. The library was just awfully dull and if he needed a quick nap, he could trust that the place would bore him to sleep easily. His rash opinions about the library was typically kept to himself and no one was really the wiser as everyone knew he roamed the meadows instead almost all the time. "Um... Maybe picture books I guess?" responded the horned creature, eyes peering over to the canine. A very unfamiliar face to him, but at least Glitteringgold had already taken charge of seeking out their personal details. "Pictures are more interesting to look at than plain words, but I guess that's coming from a non-imaginative creature like myself."
-
・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - The Tribe was awfully small - he knew this so it wasn't too much of a shocker to see only two tribemates arriving; both of whom were "frequents" of the Tribe and rightfully so. He had never been born in the old world where one could had almost unlimited powers. He was just born in this one and the powers he did have were the ones he understood almost from the beginning. There was one power - his extreme strength - that seemed to have faded completely from his body. Perhaps it was just a temporary thing that he wasn't meant to have forever, but who knows?
Windwaker smiled lightly as Darkskies approached first, asking how he was. "Good so far thanks to the beautiful weather at the moment," he responded lightly. He then glanced over to Glitteringgold who announced he had no powers at his disposal. "That's totally fine. I'm sure what I'm about to teach today can be valuable to you regardless. Unless someone is about to pop out, let's get started shall we?" The white rabbit stood tall in order to make his back comfortably straight with his paws neatly close to his frame. "What worked for me is not blasting my powers over and over, but instead enter a meditative state to work alongside with them," he began, letting his eyes close. "I build my powers, little by little. Either by just moving a blade of grass, or growing the smallest weed, as I keep my head clear. Just allow them to seep out. As a first lesson, why don't we close our eyes and try 'thought watching'. Disconnect from your mind; become an observer that is looking down on what your mind creates. Both powered and non-powered individuals can learn a lot from this, I believe. You get a chance to see what your subconscious thinks about or what it has been hiding from you since you've been so focused on the future or past."
-
・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - He was so lucky that his paws were furiously trying to staunch the bloodflow and in general keeping Ghiaccio alive that he couldn't formulate his thoughts too well, but the rabbit was entirely on the side of the wounded Guardian. He could feel some of his pelt prickle the more his mind opened up old wounds of the Exiles raid on Shadow Veil; the one where they burned their beautiful trees to ashes and he had sobbed to regrow what he could back. The rabbit had just been a child back then, not even close to being apprentice-aged and he had to witness their raid as their adoptive siblings stood to the side. "In due time," replied the rabbit, tossing aside a blood-soaked cobweb bundle in exchange for a new one to press on the wounds. "I'd would wait until you're back in fighting condition before we plan any attack." For the Exiles, they'd probably need every able-bodied creature to be in their top condition even alongside allies.
-
・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - The violent birth of ice shards fueled by anger attracted the rabbit. It seemed like everything was going so wrong with the Haven. First, Ghiaccio returned from those cowards known as the Exiles and they finally snatched up the soft-spoken Chi. The rabbit didn't know her on a deep level, but even then he could still feel her calm and fragile nature. He wished anybody but her had been taken, anybody else rather than Chionodoxa witnessing those unknown horrors. Quiet rage rippled under his pelt. The Exiles were staining his life again and he wanted them to just stop already. "Raiding blindly is just going to make us easy prey in a cave full of hungry wolves!" he snapped suddenly at the two. He wanted to fight them as much as Ghiaccio and Sweetbriar did, but there was always an art to war that had to be respected; they could just not launch themselves into the Exiles' jaws so easily. "-But... Hearing from Jericho or Cassiopeia is a good first step. I'm willing to go seek them out to bring up the matter to them.
He just hoped that they wouldn't shy away. Cassiopeia seemed like the one to wage war if needed, but Jericho... The tom was much more mild, more hesitant, much like Chionodoxa. Hopefully, they could all nudge the leader in the right direction before another one of them gets captured. -
・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - "I'll take a task," said the rabbit lightly as he approached. His motivation must have followed him from last week as he was still motivated to carry out one of these tasks. He'd sit down besides Caliban.

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - He understood one big thing when it came to living in groups such as the Tribe - every place was dominated by carnivores. It had been horribly rare for him to see any natural herbivores and he only counted one herbivore he had seen in his entire time living in such groups. Even mild-mannered felines and canines still had to go out and catch their prey to feast upon, unless they were voluntarily vegan for some reason.
The rabbit had been wandering the meadows as usual when he came upon the snake-like reptile coming down to bring down a buck. His nose twitched as he bit his tongue from uttering the word “Disgusting”; creatures had to eat and they couldn’t help it if their body needed meat to function properly. “Having a good meal?” He asked instead, choosing to stay a safe distance away. He didn’t particularly know who the reptile was and he wasn’t willing to stray too close at the moment.

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - Windwaker could never relate to some of the more tragic backgrounds of other characters, assuming that he ever heard them being shared. Typically, creatures were quite hush-hush about it which he did feel like he belonged to. He had never told a soul of how he arrived to Shadow Veil — or rather the reason behind his physical state when a kind soul by the name of Tinkertoy came just in time to patch his wounds. Still, the experiences haunted him to this day; a notable example being his fear of water reminding him of the violent ocean storms that took him away from his birth home. The rabbit would much rather watch the waters than dip himself in.
He was glad nobody really pressed on him to share the details of his origins and to pay it forward, he did not bother with asking others on their history as well. If they wanted to share, that was on them. He downsized his own struggles - his near death experience from almost being feasted upon by a vicious viper looking to score an easy meal from a measly child - in favor to realizing that someone out there always had it worse.
The horned creature was wandering the familiar meadows, taking in the calm scenery and scents. His nose twitched as something unfamiliar soon wafted its’ way to him via a gentle breeze. His whole body went tense as a ripple of alarm went right through him. He could not allow anything unfamiliar to under his nose so the rabbit hopped after the scent, eventually tracking it down to the source; a domestic feline carefully flowers into the typical fashion item of Agrelos. “What are you doing here?” asked Windwaker, his voice even. He did not know who this was, but were they really dangerous if their paws held flowers? Looks could deceive and Windwaker didn’t want to push his luck.

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - It had been a while since tasks were given out and seeing that everything was getting a bit too quiet meant it was the perfect time to get everyone moving once more. The rabbit decided to hand them out by the entrance to the castle - his typical spot when he wanted to address the rest of the group without actually going inside. “It’s been a while since we’ve had weekly tasks,” he began, making sure his words came out loud and clear. “I know it’s the middle of the week, but that fact aside, I’ll be handing out tasks if anybody’s interested.” Some uncertainty gnawed at the back of his mind, what if Glitteringgold was somehow against him? The feline was a rank higher and could easily veto his idea, but would he really go through such trouble when it came down to who gave out harmless weekly tasks?

・゚ ✦ ° CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND - He didn’t know who both of these guys were, but Vulthuryol was the most unfamiliar judging from his stranger-scent and gosh did he look like a mess. He could only imagine how he ended up this way with all his bleeding wounds and likewise with Kingdomlions, he did not understand a lick of what Vulthuryol had uttered. Instead, the white-furred creature gave a little hmph before running off to seek some supplies.
Thanks to the natural speed of a rabbit, it didn’t take long for him to reappear with cobwebs in his mouth. “Got something that could help while we wait for a medic,” he said, somewhat muffled by the webs he was carrying. Since he didn’t understand what the stranger had said, he ignored the advisory of just leaving supplies for Vult to use but instead attempted to gently press a cobweb on a bleeding wound.
