・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - He was a native of this reality -- never knowing Earth -- but not exactly born in Agrelos either. There were some obscure writings depicting creatures like himself being some sort of mythical animal, but they never came close to being regarded as gods. It was hard for Windwaker to think about anything in the life after as he always believed that it'd be best to worry about the life they all had now. As such, divinity never really plagued his mind.

The horned rabbit soon followed suite in order to welcome the new face. While the rabbit felt like he was more of a glorified ambassador from Haven rather than a full-fledged Volarian, he was eager to prove his worth to this clan even if it might be temporary. "Ana, sounds good," he spoke, standing tall besides the Macaw of Unity. "Welcome to Volary Flights, my name is Windwaker. It's nice to meet you today."

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - Windwaker's weekly task had been simple; planting more crops around. As a creature who could practically grow full-grown stalks at a whim, actually farming felt like a different story. His power felt like a convenience that he wasn't using at his fullest potential ( if he didn't know how to heal, what use was instantly growing plants? ). Actually taking the time to care for these crops was humbling and on occasions, peaceful. After the hackle-raising encounter from two Ruiners randomly appearing on their land, he felt like this task would hopefully soothe hearts just as much as it did for him.

He usually grew plants for food -- being a herbivore couldn't make things more obvious. What others did with the communal crops wasn't his business as long as no one outright destroyed them. "Let's put a few seeds in this spot," said Windwaker, tapping his paw on a nice spot just outside of the camp. Waveless simply opened his toothy jaws albeit with no sound coming out, which he took as an "okay" to start digging. Working with the crocodile made the task feel slow as the rabbit wanted to be patient with letting his "son" carefully sprinkle wheat seeds into the makeshift hole.

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - He continued to toss seeds at them, enjoying their little quirks and pauses to either preen their feathers or simply observe the coming Haveners. "I found them," he responded to Selune first of all which now sounded weird coming out of his mouth. "They looked a bit thin so I thought it wouldn't hurt to feed them a bit."

Windwaker had never really given much thoughts about birds, but now that he was traveling to Volary Flights for a dual-alliance, he wanted to try to better understand them a bit. "I didn't know either. I always assumed I was only going to be taking care of crocodiles and plants," he spoke with a nervous chuckle. "I just got them earlier today so I'm trying to get used to them. You lot want to help feed them too? I got extra seeds to spare."

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - To say that Windwaker wasn't concerned about the Ruins would be a blatant lie. The fact that the super-alliance involving Volary Flights, Solaris Kingdom, and Shadow Veil raiding the Ruins and a few of them even appearing on their own borders felt too close together to be some kind of coincidence. The horned rabbit was still licking his own wounds, but thankfully Wind Haven had plenty of resources to spare now that the landslide finally passed them by. Surely they could spare some resources, he really wanted to help the allies that recently had to go into battle. Surely his position as Prior meant both Juba and S trusted him somewhat, he could make a difference. He just had to try hard enough!

"Haveners! I'm trying to make gift baskets for our allies," announced Windwaker, waiting besides empty woven baskets. "Any contributions would be welcome as well as volunteers to distribute them!"

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - This meeting felt good and Windwaker couldn't help but puff his chest out in brimming pride. He had worked hard to complete the defense discipline, taking his sweet time to perfect his skills as much as he could. While he understood that he had a lot more to learn, it felt good to be regarded as a master in that specific discipline. "I won't let you down," spoke out the horned rabbit with a determined smile. He hoped that his words would ring true for as long as he lived.

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - It took him an awfully long while to realize that Lemon even had children around and even the idea that perhaps Ninjasexparty might have also fathered them as well. It was strange in a way; considering how much he seemingly missed in a short time span as well. At least he might have a chance to make a mark in their young lives to hopefully foster a safe beginning compared to the one his own upbringing had. "I put in some extra potatoes I grew," responded the rabbit with a small nod. "Along with some lavender, I think that helps with something, no? You got any ideas on what to add to?"

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - "Hey there," responded the horned rabbit, quickly rushing over to eventually stay a safe distance away from the saluki. Things would have been different if those Ruiners hadn't come by, he perhaps would have been less weary, more understanding that this might be a joiner or visitor rather than foe. Yet Windwaker couldn't bring himself to lower his guard at all; who knows if this creature would go after his throat if he took a few more paces forward. "You're on Wind Haven lands, what's your name?"

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - Windwaker was trying to learn some first aid from Lemon, but he was nowhere knowledgeable as the two Abbots. It felt like he was more playing with herbs rather than helping anyone, but everyone had to start somewhere right? "What's that herb called?" asked the horned rabbit, ears flicking curiously as he watched the scene. He had only been exposed to relatively basic herbs more for infection and sickness. Maybe he could learn something here.

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - The more he observed the femme, the more he realized that it was perhaps paranoia plaguing him. Emily looked like she didn't have a single bad bone within her body -- instantly in tune with the ideas of Wind Haven. He felt somewhat embarrassed for his distant behavior so he'd now try to offer her a smile on his maw. "Of course, there's no reason to turn you away," spoke the Honorguard. "My name is Windwaker, it's nice to meet you. I can offer you a tour of some kind in case you need it."

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - Wind Haven didn't get visitors often and unfortunately the most recent one had been from the Ruins trying to stir up some kind of trouble. While a chicken had been lost on that day, it meant that the Haven wasn't shielded from the harsher underbelly in Agrelos as much as he wanted to think of it to be. Was it bad that the Honorguard occasionally wanted Wind Haven to remain in its' safe and protective bubble, away from the drama of other clans? "I'll take a tart," mused Windwaker thankfully as the rabbit hopped closer to the ambassador. "Wind Haven's been doing okay, quiet as usual. The only issue we had was that two Ruiners appeared around here, but thankfully it wasn't as bad as it could have been. What about the Kingdom?"

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - Plants could heal, they could fix creatures up to mostly new, but the horned rabbit was also aware that some could easily take the lives of creatures. Poisonous plants had stuck to his mind for a long time ever since he wandered out in the wild on his own. While poisoning seemed like a rare way for creatures to go among the clans, some creatures might still take advantage of that. It was important that they all stay on guard for any potential way of harm and Windwaker was willing to host a little lesson for everyone to familiarize themselves with these dangerous plants. "Everyone! I'm holding a little skill lesson on poisonous plants," he announced confidently. "I think it's important for us to be aware just in case, for whatever the future holds."

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - He was supposed it was time.

The horned rabbit had hung on to sins of the past for far too long. Two years worth of trying to better himself, to make him stronger, to go towards paths that would probably devolve him only to back away last minute, it had been far too long. That raid on Shadow Veil had been forever ago and he had a feeling that the Exiles still went after them to this day, but he couldn't hang on to this forever. It will kill him faster than any battle would and the Haven had a whole system in place to forgive the anticlanners, to forgive those running away from terrible roots. He wouldn't be a true Havener if he didn't learn that very lesson.

He set his little gift basket full of herbs and prey on the border, squinting his eyes under the blazing sun. "Exiles!" he called out, waiting for someone to swing by. Windwaker would wait, not wanting to spill his whole speech without at least a small audience.

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - "Can I get a ride too, Ver?" asked Windwaker, long ears twitching slightly as he'd approach. He thought more about the idea of flying -- despite having control over the wind, he could never truly fly without some kind of wings to glide upon. He was sort of small and surely someone like Ver could easily throw him into the air if she wanted. Eyes flicked over to the unfamiliar molly, searching for some sort of familiarity in his memory. Maybe he just couldn't remember, sometimes that happened right? "Are you a friend of Ver's?"

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - Ears perked up at the arrival of the two, offering a smile to them both he'd allow Waveless to (slowly) cover up the hole with the seeds inside. "Hey now, that seems fun," he commented, his cotton tail thumping slightly with excitement. He had never thought to spin this with a game, but with Clementine's presence he didn't want to make his weekly task boring for him. The horned rabbit would divide out some more seeds in little packets and placed them near the unihorse and Ver. "Don't forget the seeds! The weekly task isn't just making holes all around the territory too," he chuckled.

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - Windwaker's thoughts on the Exiles were... mixed despite not interacting with them in recent days. He saw them as monsters, the whole lot of them willing to burn down lands just for fun. He had never truly saw a "soft" Exiler and the thought of them even existing would boggle his mind. There was a thin line between ignorance and complicity; a soft Exiler might not know there were better options in Agrelos for them or they knew better yet chose to stay in that horrible group. With violence running rampant, he thought people might skim over the quieter forms of pain or evil or whatever it was.

Yet with his recent visit to the Exiles was a lesson that he'd try hard to take to heart. He didn't even know Jimin was an ex-Warden so the horned rabbit approached them with an air of easiness. Maybe his temperament would shift as soon as the cat was let out of the bag, but damn was he trying to be a good Havener, one that could see past the uglier sides of people to offer them a single hand of goodwill. "Hey there you two. Can I get your names and what you want?" asked the Honorguard lightly, paws standing firm in the ground.

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - Already he felt his head spinning from the absolute wall of information that he was now being expected to know. Maybe he'd have some lee-way for a beginner, but he could feel his paws twitch with anxiety as he tried to put names, images of plants, and uses together in a mental library. Eyes quickly flickered from different plant types, nodding his head along with Lemon's mini lesson.

The Bound Meadow. It was one of the things that immediately popped out at him when he knew it shouldn't. He hasn't heard a peep from that area, but then again Wind Haven was often quiet around Agrelos right? "Yeah, I-I think I got... most of it," he mumbled, scratching his head. "You ever seen any... tribes living in the Bound Meadow by any chance too? But like, h-how do you all make the ointments too?"

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - Windwaker didn't really hear too much from the Sanctuary so their unfamiliar scent brought the Honorguard running to investigate. He remembered previously not minding the lives of insects, but somehow this one suddenly made his stomach sick for his opinion. Even though it seemed they were awkwardly fused with a dragon, it still bothered him that even insects could come across as sentient ( he wasn't entirely sure if that was the case for the sanctuarian ). "Hey! Thank you," he spoke with a little smile, peering into the basket. Dirt? Sticks? Worms? Did no one help Astiar make this basket? Maybe the dirt would be extra fertile for farmlands otherwise he didn't know what to do with this basket.

・゚ ✦ ° TURN YOUR BACK ON MOTHER NATURE - It had been a long time since he stepped paw in the Veil. It seemed he could never quite stay there no matter how much he wanted it, but perhaps it was the crawling disappointment that the outstanding 12-kit litter had seemingly vanished. Each visit he payed there only led to fewer and fewer littermates until there were none all together; disappeared or dead. He remembered being so prideful that Abbi was leading the Veil, but now it seemed like their name was rarely uttered. There was Junebug, but last he heard, he was the Veil's deputy, no? He was perhaps too busy, busy to catch up with someone who wasn't even blood related. The horned rabbit felt like he was on his own little island here in the Haven, away from the world, away from the family he once knew. He had always tried asking for his mothers during the brief visits, but never got to see them, which made him wonder if he was the only one falsely carrying the Aeternum name.

"Hi Charlie," mused the Honorguard, approaching with a mixture of casualty and caution. He wouldn't have known this was his adoptive mother returning from the depths of who knows where, last time he checked, she hadn't been a canine right? However, familiarity tickled him and he couldn't place why. "My name's Windwaker, it's very nice to meet you. I'm sure some more Haveners will be coming out to see ya too."
